What does the black and white soul (Sans and Asgore) represent?

Sans has a secret about his soul type so he has to wear no colours, some monsters and humans do this if they don’t care about the soul system or want to rebel. Papyrus likes knitting so he made him his grey sweater and scarf. Asgore is a half Caretaker of all soul types, and if you add all colours of light together you get white, so he is kind of white and black. He can go RGB mode though and change colours.

Hello! What is Hearttale about?

I’m glad you asked! It’s an au based on how some characters in undertale can turn your soul a different colour. So those characters (and other ones to complete the list) are Caretakers of the soul types, they guide, help and keep tabs on other beings with the soul type they care for. The underlaying premise of the comic will be how said Caretakers have trouble staying true to their type of soul, like Toriel (Caretaker of Patience) losing her patience with Asgore and fleeing into the ruins.
