And then you see your friends moving in with their partners and enjoying life to the fullest, achieving greatness and success while having someone by their side all the time. It sucks, you know, and once you start comparing there's no going back. You see each flaw of yours and you get reminded of each path where you took the wrong turn. It's like fighting battles all alone on a daily basis because you have nothing in particular to look forward to and no one to talk to, you just pass each day with a hope that perhaps tomorrow will be better. But exactly which 'tomorrow'?
Being single is fun, but suddenly you're 24, barely have friends, life sucks, and you sit in your empty room scrolling through your contacts, trying to find somebody to talk to, but you fail miserably. I wonder whom you go to? when you wanna talk about disappointments or life ig.

There is a 'quote' in our Sikh religion, "Chiriya te main Baaz Ladawa, Sawa Lakh se ek Ladawa, Tabhi Gobind Singh naam kahawa"
Meaning, "I will make Sparrows fight Falcons, one individual against 1.25 Lakh, then only will I call myself Gobind Singh"
The kid definitely knew how to deal with the bullies.
I think I’m going to think about this youtube comment forever

It's not all their fault though. I honestly feel bad for these people. Imagine living your entire life seeing someone 'fairer' than you being treated better than you in the society. Imagine being told that 'you have a nice facial structure but a litter 'whiter' skin would have made all the difference'. Imagine growing up watching shows and movies with only the 'fair skin' ladies as leads and the 'darker' ones being treated as maids or perhaps, shown doing some menial jobs, and imagine seeing that one of the few dark skinned actresses all of a sudden, walking out of a luxurious car with a much lighter skin. Imagine every tv advertisement equating fair skin with success. Imagine the fair skin being presented, promoted, and capitalized upon. Imagine being discriminated just because you're dark skinned. And imagine this discrimination and mental harassment at the hands of your parents and family.
Unfortunately, Indians, especially women, have been subjected to this injustice since ages.
Perhaps, the aunties want that little bits of the happiness that comes with knowing that you fit in the society's beauty standards. Perhaps, they just want to 'feel beautiful', and want to be praised and treated better, for once.
It is as if they seem to find it in 10x shades lighter foundations, bleaching creams, skin lightening treatments, 'how to make skin white' youtube videos, skin lightening drinks, whitening creams, and hundreds of such little things. Imagine the mental battles of it all.
Not only aunties though, young girls and women are still exposed to similar advertisements and campaigns, and the mentality behind. It's sad. The damage has already been done.
Indians and their obsessions over 10x shade lighter foundation than their actual actual skin tone.

Kabhi kabhi boht mann karta hai ki kuch likhun, magar jab likhne jao tab samjh hi nhi aata kya likhun, yun toh boht kuch hai bayaan karne ke liye, magar kuch bolne jao toh samjh hi nhi aata kahan se shuru karun. Kore kaagaz ko bass yun hi dekhte rehna ab aadat si ho gyi hai, alfaaz kaagaz takk pohnch toh nhi paate magar andar dafna kar rakhna bhi ek jurm sa lagta hai. Aisa jurm jiski sazaa sunane ke liye bhi shayad arse guzar jaayien aur darr lagta hai, darr lagta hai ki kahin un ankahe lafzoon ki kaid mein mere khwaab ek mujrim bann kar na reh jayien

Adopting a real cat is worth more that watching cat videos and memes, observing their behavior as you see them playing around in gardens or parks works good too. Your brain would eventually get rid of the need to watch them online
just a reminder that nothing (negative) is gonna happen if you delete social media

Nah, that's not how love works. Because if love can happen Only after knowing them then you might never love someone because you can never ever know a person completely. For that matter, you can never know a person until and unless you've spent enough time with them to know them, to know the way they'd react in a given situation, to know their comforts and discomforts, to know the kind of person they are. You can't know them unless and until you see them in every possible situation a person can go through and see the way they deal with it. Everyday you'd get to know and learn a new thing about them and sometimes it might contradict what you've already known about them and then you'd sit and think that you might not know them. In such a situation, would you stop loving them because 'you don't know them'? You say that 'I love you because I know this about you and that about you.' What if those things you know about them cease to exist? Would you stop loving them right there and then? I don't think so.
Love at first sight is a thing, a real experience that this humankind has experienced and we still do. It's not always lust neither an attraction. Ask the ones who've felt it, those who've written beautiful poetries on love at first sight because they know how it feels to look at someone for the first time and have everything in your heart calm down.
I believe, knowing isn't loving.
This might offend a lot of people but-
It is "Lust at First Sight" and not "Love at First Sight" because you cannot fall in love with someone by just seeing their face and not knowing them!
