hot artists don't gatekeep

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

For their abilities, Lambe and Rem had an extention of the red crowns power initally (which was accidently bestowed upon them by The One Who Waits silly cat giving us the power to overthrow you haha).

Lambe & Rem were not as powerful as Mal though and had a limited access to the crusade weapons/curses and had to be given access by Mal for crusades.

Because of the shared power the red crown gave the three lambs, it also gives the lambs a special connection to each other granting them the ability to sense how the others are feeling at any given time.

Rem is more specialized in cooking and building, while Lambe does most of the healing/clothing mending.

Mal has the ability to read peoples thoughts, never uses it against peoples wills without their consent unless they're dissenting/criminals.

Post game:

Once Mal came into godhood, he got his own power and the red crown went and the power split between Rem and Lambe.

Mal also has a special connection to the Mystic Seller & The Celestial Gods. And although having new powers/abilities, Mal is still figuring them out, he doesn't like to use them much.

I'm still figuring out a design for Wukong and Macaque that I like in my art style. Thinking I might add a streak of white of Macaques hair for lore reasons lol. I gotta stare at more LMK fanart for inspiration first tho 💪

OH GOD I JUST HAD AN IDEA FOR WUKONG - the little patch on his chest, imma change it into something similar to what hes got on his face except its gonna be a little heart design!! (Note for myself lol)

So I didnt end up rewatching any LMK today since I had a bad headache, but I spent the day enjoying the nice weather (good breeze coming in through my window into my work room) getting some work done on my drawing for @gillanfryingpan b-day and some drawings for the @cotls blog. Also finished dungeon meshi vol 13. 💪

Over all pretty productive day.

My friend Eddie (the guy who got me into LMK) strongly believes that Macaque just straight up does not have a house and just lives in the shadows at Wukongs.

That headcannon is somehow the most canon Macaque thing ever.

I like to believe that Macaque sometimes both helps and fucks with Wukong depending on how his day is going.

Day going a little to good because he trained with Mk and his monkies are getting along? He's hiding Wukong's video game consoles. Make him search for it for a little bit just so he struggles.

Day going bad cause Wukong's feeling upset or sick? Now you get fresh peaches and noodles Macaque robbed from some guy outside Pigsy's noodles.

Will he tell Wukong he's been living in his home? Maybe one day! When he is positive Wukong won't be pissed he moved all his dishes up slightly higher so he has to get a stool to get them down.
