Being an Ori'vod was both rewarding, and an absolute curse.
Bast still wasn't quite used to not being one of the Shinies anymore, he was thoroughly unprepared for the new ones. Nobody thought to warn him they were a bunch of osik'ike or that they would become HIS problem.
Many loud arguments, exchanged insults and threats of violence came as a result. Day and night. Sometimes he was THIS close to wrapping his hands around one of their necks and ending them himself.
Sometimes the other vode just wanted them to drop the fight and shut up, but they started it.
Then there were these odd... moments of peace. Where all was quiet, they'd talk like civil beings, a vod'ika might even share a nice treat with him or babble endlessly and he'd let him despite having a pounding headache. Force sometimes they were just straight up nice.
Moments like these were enough for him to actually even feel bad for ever being hostile to his vod'ike.
Only for them to promptly remind him they are in fact still osik'ike.
But Force have mercy on any Separatist or clanker who would try and take them from him. He didn't need to be some abomination or sith or even whatever Alor back on Coruscant was, he'd be worse.
He'd burn the galaxy for those osik'ike, loyalties to the GAR and Jedi be damned.
Now if they could only leave him the kriff alone....

Despite them managing to force open the ancient rusted shut window, the kitchen was still flooded with the smell of smoke and burnt toast, making his eyes water and his nose run.
Alor sips his ice cold caf as he pats Zone-Out's back while the vod'ika cries into his shoulder. "I'm sorry." he repeats.
"Not your fault ad, you didn't even turn the thing on, it was a short circuit and it was ancient anyway. Pretty sure it was older than me." Alor reassures, amongst Zone-Out's cries of never wanting to leave the basement again. While doing this he risks a peak at the corner where the melted, charred, sand covered remains of the toaster and mixer was being removed by another vod who was also removing a shelf just to be sure the old wooden thing wasn't burning without their knowledge, while another was trying to gather the sand and a third was trying to scrub the soot off the burned wall.
Which makes them all keenly aware just how much of a fire hazard the entirety of the base potentially was.

"Since Fox won't let me bite them, I'll have to make due with judging them deeply and hope they pick up on it." Alor grumbles, popping an honest to Force piece of candy into his mouth.
"Oh I don't have that problem, they all seem to leave me alone." Stinger (a medic) says as he stabs into his ration a bit too eagerly, leaving a somehow very precise cut in the packaging before he tears it open. Nobody asks Alor where he got the extra food from, not that their ori'vod would ever answer but even if he did there was a general feeling that the answer would be... concerning, to put it simply.
"That's because you're just plain unsettling, and that's coming from me."

Also Lily: *makes a widely viewed video accusing an innocent person of kidnapping her sister, doxxes someone, then basically victim blames someone because they were attacked implying it's because they didn't listen to her.*
Also Lily: I'M the victim here, it's MY sister that's missing and you stole MY friends!
Girl you've kept yourself away from your own friends, and every time you showed up it was to be mean or to make things worse, them not liking you is on YOU. And YOU live in the same town as your friends, the MC does not, MC is being an online friend unlicensed Detective over here for free not asking for all this drama. And if MC did live in Duskwood and got arrested because of accusations like that then how the heck is your sister SUPPOSED TO BE FOUND BY POLICE if they got the wrong person?!
Not to mention her leaking someone's private information. Do not get me started on that. Because there are no coherent words aside from "What the frag is wrong with you?!".
So yes my MC will be sending Lilly the bill. Even after her.... "redemption"....
I may be a tad salty....

Apologies for a lack of posts! I fell down an AO3 rabbit hole and just crawled out.
I’ve been reading DCxDP crossovers, despite having 1) never seen Danny Phantom and 2) having never read any Batman comics, and only having seen like.. 3 Batman movies, none of which were the same continuity (The Batman, Batman Begins, and the Tim Burton one, for those curious. Of those three I only enjoyed The Batman).
That being said, I have aspect thoughts for some characters purely based on the fannon in these fics and would like to hear others’ thoughts. Note my above credentials and take everything with a grain of salt.
Batman, at least in any continuity it’s reasonable for him to have the Batfam in (glares at most of the movies other than The Batman), is a Blood player. He’s defined by his relationship to his city, his many children, his dead family, and his adoptive father/butler. He is 100% a passsive class, active use type. I’d say Knight, maybe Heir.
Danny is an Heir of Heart. Did I base this thought mostly on the fact that that is literally “One who becomes/inherits soul”? Yes. Do I still think it fits outside of that? Also yes.
Jason went grimdark when he came back and some of that stuck with him, maybe to the point that either his class or aspect fully shifted. I’m not sure what he was before nor what he is now, but I’m certain that they’re different.

Oliver Ivy sat quietly huddled in his office, rubbing his hands together for warmth while the messenger prattled on about the latest drama.
He never understood why villains in the novels he used to read were so hellbent on being rulers. Being in charge meant everyone else's problem became your problem that you had to solve in a timely manner, lest you be lynched.
Being in charge of people is a nightmare.
"The people are complaining that they are cold." it's -50 degrees Celsius. Everyone is cold. Including him.
"The people are hungry." There are 10 cooks expected to feed hundreds of people, preparing rations takes time. Just wait a few hours, nobody is starving yet.
"You promised us warmth!" And he delivered, everyone is properly housed and in range of the generator. It's not his fault it got colder. That's on the weather not on him.
"The people need another medical post." Correction, a medical post won't fix their lack of doctors.
