I just realized something. On my birthday in 2020 they added Ferdinand in Heroes, and last year a few days before my birthday they added Dedue. Both are characters that I really wanted in the game…
My birthday is in four days…
Guess that means Izana’s going to be announced soon, anyone else excited?

The training yard was quiet, as it tended to be so late at night, though Ferdinand had barely noticed that the sun had long since fallen. He held a training lance in his hands, though the lance was near to useless. (Ferdinand couldn’t help but relate to that fact, not that he would ever express such thoughts.)
Ferdinand had obviously been in the training yard for some time, his hair which he had pulled into a ponytail at the beginning of his training session had long since fallen, the tie lost in the dirt, his breathing was heavy from over exertion. And yet, he had no plans to stop. (He wasn’t sure if he could stop even if he wanted to.)
Tightening his grip on his lance, Ferdinand eyed down the beaten dummy he had been facing since he started this training session. Ready to attack it once more.

Closed Starter for @nobleburn
The gardens were lovely, with the flowers blossoming well into the Garland Moon. Ferdinand sat at a lone table, sipping at his delightful brew of the Southern Fruit Blend. (Which was one of his favorites.) Unfortunately both Lorenz and Petra had been too busy to take tea with him, which left Ferdinand no choice but to take his tea alone. (Tea was always better with companionship, but loath as Ferdinand was to admit it, companionship was not something he found easy to obtain.)
Perhaps after he was done with his tea, Ferdinand could go to the stables to visit dear Kiara. She was certainly a noble steed, though at times Ferdinand couldn’t help but miss his own horse, dear Chamomile whom he had to leave behind in the Aegir stables when he was sent to the Academy.
As he thought of horses, Ferdinand was brought away from them when he caught sight of one of his fellow students, one of the ones who was a member of the Blue Lions if he remembered correctly.
“Nikolette!” Ferdinand called in greeting once he spotted her. “Care for some tea?”

Shout out to Hubert who right before the Battle of the Eagle and Lion told Ferdinand that he was going to be absolutely useless and a waste of space on the battlefield.
...
Ferdinand was the MVP.
#out of tea#to be fair I've been giving Ferdinand every skill boost item that increases movement#because I'm making him my dancer and I figured having the dancer be able to get wherever they want would be really useful#so unlike everyone else who did have to waste a few turns just moving#Ferdinand was basically able to knock someone out every turn#minus the turn I had him get the chest item#in other words I am so overleveled it's kind of ridiculous#I'm trying to 100% the game so I'm trying to over level because I'm gonna have to play through the last two battles in game so many times#so them being so overleveled is on purpose#because I want to make those battles easier on me when it comes time to get those S supports#but yeah Dimitri who was one of the bosses of the battle of the eagle and lion was level 15#while the lowest level I had starting (not counting Flayn because I just kinda... ignore her when playing black Eagles because you know...#it'd be a waste of time to do anything with her other than throw her on someone as an adujendent for healing)#was 30

#out of tea#this support is just... *chef's kiss*#might be one of my new favorites#of course it won't beat Bernadetta and Leonie's supports in my heart#I genuinely would pay 60 dollars to get Bernadetta and Leonie an A support and paired ending#because it is a shame that Bernadetta only really has two good endings (Byleth and Raphael)#and I know if she and Leonie had a paired ending it would be perfect#because (not counting Byleth) Leonie is the only character that Bernadetta is 100% comfortable around#god I love leonie
