The sun began to fill the room through a small beam, escaping between the off-white curtains hiding the view of the serene lake. Quinn stirred in his bed pulling his girlfriend closer so that she was flush against his chest. He placed a soft kiss to the top of her head as he inhaled her scent.
The action causing Y/n to wake, blinking slowly before smiling up at her messy-haired boyfriend. “Morning, love” she whispered, a yawn soon sounding from her lips. “Did you sleep well?” Quinn questions in response.
The girl nods her head slowly and runs her hands up Quinns back placing them in the tousled bits of hair at the nape of his neck, earring a groan out of him as she tugged gently. “I love your hair like this.” Y/n lightly giggles, looking at the brunette with admiration, “Don’t cut it.”
Quinn smiles softly before cupping her warm cheeks and pulling her in for a kiss. The light stubble placed along the lower half of his face scratched at hers as he deepened the kiss slightly. Angling his head down he places chaste kisses along her jaw before moving down to delicately begin placing a hickey on her neck.
“Quinnie.” Y/n whines pulling him away from her. “As much as I love when you do that baby, your whole family is here!” She scolds as Quinn fains disappointment. Moving his arms around her waist and cuddling into her, “what time is it?” He questions rubbing soft circles of the exposed skin of her lower back, as Y/n cranes her neck to see the clock sitting on the bedside table.
“Eight.” She responds, lulling her head back to its position on the pillow. “Do you wanna go get breakfast?” She asks, “I’ll make pancakes. With choc-chips, just how you like it.”
“Mhm, sounds good. But let's cuddle for five more minutes.” He replies still sleepy.
“Okay, love”
