While my background is in Criminology, it took me a while to discover my passion, and my passion is movies and television. My favorite website and home page is imDb.com. I can spend hours on that site just looking at all the trivia and information about certain movies and shows. I try to never watch anything with other people because I am sure to pause in the middle and spend a great deal of time in an imDb.com vortex.
I have been in a constant state of disbelief with graduation coming up. I thought the two-week break we had for the holidays would discourage me. I really did not know what to do with that time and when it was time to start class back up I was so eager to finish. Most of my work was completed days before it was due which is rare for me. During this whole program, I think all my assignments were submitted at the very last minute to the point I had to set alarms to make sure I got it in before the deadline. I am usually the definition of a procrastinator. I would wonder if my peers noticed the change since I would have their feedback done the minute they submitted their work. I am beyond ready to be done and I never thought I would make it to this point.
If I said this a year ago and you asked to see my work, I would awkwardly laugh in your face and back away slowly. No way was I going to tell you what I wanted to do for work. No way would I claim a piece of writing that wasn’t a Facebook status, Instagram caption or Twitter tweet. Nothing I write is ever revealed. Well, by golly that is no longer the case. I have a whole website dedicated to me and my writings. No escaping it anymore, but you know what? I no longer want to hide what I write. I want people to listen to my stories. I want people to feel my stories. I want people to know... I AM A WRITER!
Final Cut for Advanced Visual Storytelling at Full Sail University. This was my first time seriously using iMovie, Final Cut Pro and Vyond.com for a project.
