I am so excited for new beginnings. I’m extremely thankful for everyone who has stuck by me since the beginning, and for the one that I love the most.

I watched a video about how we, the people, fall into line with what everyone else is doing, instead of finding our own niche. That definitely hit me harder than usual and in my opinion it’s relatively true. We’re pretty much being overstimulated by a lot of materialistic things, social media, and the lack of originality. So much, that our core interests seem out of reach, and that we wait until the last possible moment. We don’t do anything, we just say, “I wish I’ve done that.” I definitely don’t want to fall under this category.
Alot of people are afraid to fail, which is why we never start anything fresh or new. Which, I now realize, stops a lot of potential. The average person has a lot more than they think.
I don’t want my goals to be a dream forever. Since I’m aware and living in a “reality,” I want to take advantage of it.
You should too.

There are numerous matters that I realize are complex about our species— so much that I have so many questions. My head has been hurting an ungodly amount these days, but I don’t really care though. I like the challenge of thinking about this particular subject.
The more I research about consciousness, I start to have numerous theories on the subject, “purpose”—mine anyway.
Starting off, I was watching a video today, and a philosopher/scientist was pointing out that consciousness involves being aware and having experiences. Shaking hands, hugging, conversation, and overall interaction. Even if it comes down to doing any of these relations with yourself.
That is was what every human being craves right? Not social interaction, but relation?
When you’re born, you were aware. Aware, but of course lacked a significant amount of awareness. I can’t imagine anyone recalling their very early childhood years before the age of 3 or 4 years old (I think I’ll call the ages before, jellyfish years). At the age of 3 or 4, are we considered more aware, but where does our consciousness go at the point of Alzheimer’s or even death? What is after, and how do we know?
Keep all of this in mind when thinking about purpose. If my so-called consciousness is in this body and my body is what I am now associating with a shell, I think my purpose is far greater than I can comprehend. I think that my purpose is far greater than to just “live.”
Many people take to just “live” as routine. That is not where I want to rest my perception. That is too simple.
To be conscious is to embark on a journey of experience and to form a deeper connection within us and others. This is how I view consciousness. “Ourselves” is a stretch, because that leaves open many more questions.
I know that many people may think, “Well, what’s the point of having these experiences if you won’t remember them anyway?”
I want to argue that question with purpose and choice.
For example, when a person chooses to marry someone that they genuinely feel a connection with, their two souls—consciousness’ are metaphorically joined together. It is special, genuine, has purpose, and it was a choice between the two of them (depending on what religion) that brought them together. If it wasn’t their choice, I do hope they get to experience the beauty of them one day. Regardless, day to day they have to make choices. Purpose and choice, you can’t have one without the other.
It is what drives us.
We can’t explain where we came from. We just know that we are a “person,” and in that, there should be more question and more meaning.
[Invasive epiphenomenalism incoming]
We are biological engineers.
If we think even deeper, would our bodies be considered the microbiomes of earth?
Anyway, I believe that feeding this shell garbage—whether it being information, or something generally being ingested is not how I want my consciousness to thrive. I want to feed it experience (I’m not saying I won’t eat…). I want to feed my body the food of the earth. Not something genetically modified or manufactured garbage. That is not what was intended for me. Personally, I want to study plant and biological life as a whole. I want the experience.
Even when we return to the earth that we live on at death, our “shell” is experiencing something, even if it can’t perform any actions, even with the lack of consciousness. We are simply not. That itself matters. At your death, those around you will experience deep emotion and overall acceptance.
To me, the host, I feel as though in order to have a wonderful and earthly experience is to embrace my freedom of choice and purpose. No matter which direction I choose.
Wherever my consciousness goes afterwards, and before I am without it, I want the satisfaction that I have experienced. That, to me sounds like peace.
Me, being so complex and not knowing what is out there—it can’t end on a simple answer to just “live.”
I think the answer is to experience, and that in itself gives me drive.
