Do not EVER let anyone tell you that being transspecies and seeking some form of social transition isn't possible and that "nobody will call you that". Ive had so many friends (mind you, friends who ive NEVER asked to do this / dont even know im transspecies) just casually refer to me as an animal in front of others like it's the most normal thing in the world (Ex. "Well obviously they need to go on a walk, they are a dog after all 馃檮") Have realistic expectations ofc, but no, it's absolutely not impossible for humans to perceive you as your true identity and to openly refer to you as such

dont think this post is worded great, im pretty tired but i wanted to get my thoughts out here anyway
okay here i go:
i think in a lot of cases where folk think therians and alterhumans are faking or not being 100% genuine about their experiences or linking things that are unrelated together, they generalise quite a lot and don't take things like instincts and even just psychological therians/alterhumans into consideration
lets take the example of (were)wolves and 'edgy' aesthetics, those things may not be directly correlated, but if a big reason for you being kin of a were(wolf) is that you used it as a survival/coping mechanism, you may also relate to 'edgy' aesthetics, or more specifically, feel like it fits your were(wolf) instincts because of a strong drive to bite, attack and defend etc
so many times i see folk saying "but that's unrelated" and like, yes, sort of, but its not up to you whether folk enjoy those themes and relate them to their kintypes
i really wish folk in this community (especially younger therians/alterhumans) would realise and keep in mind the effect imprinting, neurodivergence, and other psychological causes has on the community
not everyone has a past life, or memories, and sometimes folk will use arbitrary things to relate to their kintypes
that doesn't make their experience less real, it doesn't make them less of a therian or alterhuman, it just is.

You can be transspecies without being accepting of radqueer labels.
You can use labels that aren't affiliated with radqueers, or reclaim them. Just because you feel a certain way, or go by a tamer label, doesn't mean you have to immediantly be accepting of ideas like transnazi or whatever.
You're your own person. Dont let radqueers pressure you into believing otherwise.

I keep seeing all these "it's ok to love being therian" and "it's ok to hate being therian" posts and I just want to offer my two cents:
It doesn't matter if "it's ok" or "it's valid." The truth of the matter is that absolutely nobody can tell you not to feel any way you feel about your own identity. Nobody can make you feel differently. You can love every day of your life you wake up as a therian and make animal noises with your friends and fill your blog up with moodboards for the joy of it. You can bemoan how awful it is to be like this and wish every waking second to become human. You can just be totally neutral and not give a shit because all it is is you. And kill anybody who tells you your own feelings make you something other than what you are. 馃憤
