"Welcome home, Brave" There isn't enough Graphite x Hiiro content

I keep neglecting to post art... But here's some Ex-Aid art I finished yesterday. (Plus closeups of their eyes because it might be hard to see the lil detail I put in there ahahaha) I actually have a bunch of traditional art to scan because the last couple of months it's all I've been able to draw... (As well as all the stuff before that, that keeps piling up whoops) I just, used the gradient tool mixing up the Mighty Brothers orange and teal, Para-DX's red and blue and Ex-Aid's pink with Muteki's gold and somehow made a rainbow lol

I haven't posted for like 3 years orz Have some Mew Mews I did a few days ago. Really gotta get around to uploading a bunch of stuff some time...

I really really wanted to do something for today... But... I’ve just been struggling to draw so much lately... It took me hours to even get started and then I barely lacked any motivation to really go through with anything and not leave it as a doot... Ugh it’s all shit anyway cause everything was drawn from memory. I’dsayI’dneatenthemupandcolourthemsometime... Butprobablynot.

I tried to do a set of weekly sketches of OCs while BNHA was airing... But in the end only did so many... Kinjiro, Daisuke, Ichirou, Nirou, Rei, Ai, Enko, Hibiki, Hoshiko and Kyoku belong to me. Karuta, Maru, Dokuki, Ryo’s Mother (Ican’trememberhernamesorry xnx; ), Ryoba, Ramune and Maneki belong to a friend

An old Shinsou and Hatsume... I wasn’t gonna post it but there isn’t a lot of stuff of them anyway. Maybe I’ll redraw it... I’ve draw Shinsou better since.

I drew Kinjiro, his sister Ginshi, Daisuke, Fem!Daisuke and Dai’s sister Megumi Fantasy AU style. I had the idea of a Bard-like character for Daisuke in mind cause that seems to suit him. I think Megumi may have been based on a Mage? I don’t really remember... The Kajiya family are blacksmiths and sell weapons and such. Daisuke and Megumi are travelling and end up at the town where the Kajiya’s are based. Of course upon seeing this cute boy selling weaponry and such, Daisuke wants to take him away and travel with him. Kinjiro has always wanted to set out on an adventure. Never really planned how Kinjiro ends up getting to travel but yeah Ginshi starts working in Kinjiro’s place, she always wanted to be more ‘involved’ with the family business, but since Kin’s the eldest he was always expected to take over.

Both of Daisuke’s main love interests have a slight Samurai theme to them. Kinjiro having a Samurai armour style hero costume and Karuta’s name coming from Karuta armour. I used to draw Daisuke’s hair down short like here. But since then I’ve made it longer because it probably is, he started growing it out near the end of middle school before he started styling it in his ‘iconic’ magnet-like hairstyle. Alsohe’swearingoneofKaru’ssweatbands/bandanashehe. And then we have a meme that’s probably old by now because these drawings are old. orz Karuta is a friend’s OC by the way…

Yan-Yan Kin-Chan is a danger... I was attempting to colour manga-style or something I guess? Though his colour scheme is pretty greyish anyway...

I also drew Kinjiro with Ryudamon / Hisyaryumon because a friend showed me these Digimon and we were like that would suit him. I would have done more of my OCs with Digimon but it was a bit more difficult to think what would suit who. I’mreallyhappywithhowthebottompiccameout.

Hoshiko really suits the Pokemon universe ahahaha. Her father is a forest ranger so she really loves animals and such. Her hero costume did have some inspiration from Pokemon Rangers too... Of course the most fitting for the twins was Jigglypuff and Whismur. Part 1 / Part 2
