Those little ‘kurtlings’ are actually called ‘bamfs’. If I remember correctly they are somewhat magical creatures that take the form of whomever they imprint on. Particularly Neyaphim folk like Kurt and his father Azazel - yes Azazel has his own bamfs, they are red.
In recent comics they show up after Kurt dies saving Hope Summers. They hang around the X-mansion stealing various parts, Logan’s alcohol and generally causing mischief. The various things they steal eventually becomes a portal heaven and a whole thing involving Azazel taking over heaven and hell ensues.
Through a very cool magic shabang Kurt is brought back to life with some of the bamfs combining to become his new body. Apparently Kurt is the only one who can hear what they actually say. Everyone else hears cute little chirps and purrs but the bamfs have been known to encourage him murder people.
Is it wrong that my reaction to this
Is "Kurt, are these all your kids?! You slut!"
Omg that's my phone wallpaper right now lmao
Tho actually Kurt has always had little munchkin versions of himself. He gives his girlfriend in the original comics a little handmade BAMF doll of himself so she isn't lonely while he's on missions
As for the context of this panel I honestly don't know. They could in fact be little Kurtlings lol
X-men '97 went for the throat and they got my man Gambit ;_;
I will remember him in his slutty crop top always. I have never come across anyone who doesn't like Remy. Logan, Scott, Xavier and Magneto each have a group of people that just don't like the characters but love for Gambit is universal.
I actually drew this before my Nightcrawler piece but was so excited that Nightcrawler finally showed up I put his pic out first. Little did I know that episode 5 was Gambit's last... for now. I know nobody ever stays dead in Marvel but it still hurts - especially the way he went out. At least he graduated to Omega level beforehand.
