One day the LORD blessed me to meet one of Malcolm X’s former bodyguard/jewelry designer of the iconic crescent moon symbolic ring. For hours I was educated by first hand account of the legacy of him and Martin Luther King’s journey to our forever history. Blessed to hear of their true history of brotherhood, not the separation that media wants us to remember, I will hold and share the lessons of that moment in my life as long as breathe. This quote still rings loudly today. The storming of the Capitol building showed we are not done balancing the scales of justice these brave leaders exposed so many decades ago. As a Business Owner and Author I plan to do my part to help all the people of this country my ancestors, both Native and African, built live harmoniously in.
