When the memories hit you hard
So my brother and I decide to go for a machine ride today. The ride starts off normal, we ride 5 miles to the lake and decide to continue on and go up the Iditarod Trail a few miles. 3 miles on the trail and W’s machine overheats, not a huge deal, refilled the antifreeze and let it cool down.
We continue on and decide to go off the trail and play in some fresh powder, I shut my machine down and on the restart it wouldn’t start…so we play around trying to get it to catch and start, but to no avail. So we pull the belt off and get W’s machine all set to tow me in. Now mind you, W’s snowmachine track shoots up ridiculous amounts of snow and ice when riding. So me being 15 feet behind it, I’m getting snow and ice, along with random rocks and twigs from the trail shot at me.
We get about 2 miles on the way back and W’s machine starts to overheat, as we see two dogsled teams off in the distance heading our way. So we pull off the trail and turn his machine off, one to let it cool down and two because we don’t like to scare the dogs. Gorgeous dogs go flying by with quick ‘thank you’s’ from the riders.
We let his cool down and head on back to the lake. We decide to try and get it running, as we open the hood we see the entire engine is covered in snow and starting to freeze. So we spend time clearing it off and getting the belt back on. We are able to get it to start…but the machine wont go anywhere! and at this point, it has started to really snow.
We give up and decide to just tow the machine the 5 miles back to the house. Going 10 miles an hour and freezing our butts off because we had sat at the lake for so long working on the machine.
Needless to say…a long an interesting day!

Day 16! We were down on the strip and decide to try and grab one from one of the hotel parking lots. Well of course the coordinates place us *inside* the hotel so we go to the garage and start to try and find it. We get in an elevator that only takes us to a casino entrance, no way to get to the upper parking lot so we talk to a security guard and tell her we're playing the good friends and trying to get our drunk buddies car. We get to the right garage and take off to the top floor and decide to work our way down and find it on the fire house box! Las Vegas, NV
