i want a plot where MUSE A is a wealthy gorgeous socialite, their mother constantly setting them up with wealthy partners because she doesn’t believe her child can get a partner that she would approve of without her. but MUSE A has a best friend, MUSE B a bartender just barely getting by, whose been with MUSE A through all the heartbreak and annoyance of their mother constantly setting them up with boring dates that only talk about themselves. MUSE B has feelings for MUSE A but doesn’t feel good enough for them/ knows that their mother wouldn’t approve. more or less MUSE A starting to think and wonder why they aren’t dating MUSE B, since they’ve always been there for them and seem to actually like them for more than just their beauty and wealth

all he felt like he could do was nod and just listen. what maddox wanted to do was scream out how she should be with him and just leave marcus in the dust because he wouldn’t hurt her like that ----- but he didn’t. he wouldn’t. “he probably lost his phone in vegas, or on a yacht, or in sweden or wherever he is right now.” taking a second to gather his thoughts, he used his thumb to gently turn her head his way. “wherever he is, he just hasn’t realized that all of those places are exciting and everything but the best place to be is right here with you. he just hasn’t realized how damn special you are.” and now he was going to take a second before looking away from her eyes because god DAMN he just wanted to love her.

marleny exhaled, untwisting her lips for a second. “i do love him, but i don’t know if he loves me anymore. i can’t remember the last time he picked up the phone to talk to me or even replied to my messages for five minutes. it’s like… he’s not interested in me anymore.” her words were soft, realizing how much it hurt to actually say them out loud. the knot in her stomach seemed to keep tightening, which only made her feel sicker. marleny’s head shook, attempting to not get emotional, despite the conversation at hand. “o-oh,” her voice quivered a little bit, biting on her tongue for a moment.  

MARCUS: of course not MARCUS: you knew this is what i did!! MARCUS: you knew who you were dating so this can’t be my fault MARCUS: take your share of the responsibility MARCUS: you literally just admitted to doing my twin but ok

MARLENY: that’s good because i don’t regret it MARLENY: you can leave for months on end like it’s no big deal MARLENY: and ignore me and my phone calls even my texts MARLENY: so keep doing you marcus i hope you have fun MARLENY: whoring around? we didn’t even sleep together 

it was easy to see this was something that she wouldn’t drop any time soon, but maddox new he still needed to try to distract. “but we didn’t. that’s all that matters. we could be having sex this very moment, but we aren’t and you love him.” the words only slightly stung as they fell from his lips, his stomach churning into a knot just at the thought. sighing, he simply shrugged and turned towards her. “if it makes you feel any better, he usually brags to me about the girls he hooks up with and he hasn’t done that in a while.” whether or not that would work was beyond him, but the blonde headed boy only hoped it would make her feel better.

marleny’s shoulders slumped slightly as she never took her attention from the ceiling, lips twisted slightly in frustration. it was aggravating, to be stuck in a position where she was dating one brother and on the verge of hooking up with the other. twins, for that matter. “but we came close to it. who says that this wouldn’t have happened if i were sober?” marleny’s head shook as she brought her hands up to her face for a second, breathing out a long sigh. “could have fooled me.” her hands moved away from her face and back on top of the blankets as she shrugged as best as she could. “please, marcus cheating is inevitable. i’m sure he’s head deep between someone’s thighs right now, so i’d rather not even talk about it.”

MARCUS: so the truth finally comes out MARCUS: lmao sluts? thats funny MARCUS: you’re actually the first girl that i actually didn’t cheat on for once MARCUS: this is all on you whoring around MARCUS: get your shit out of my house

his gaze focused on the brunette once again, feeling guilty he’d even allowed this to happen --- or almost happen. he was usually the responsible one of the twins, yet he almost became exactly like his brother. he knew better, and now the both of them would have this hanging around like a dark cloud. “but we didn’t. i was just acting like an idiot, and you just had a little too much to drink.” maddox attempted to explain in a way to cheer her up. “trust me when i say, you’re definitely not a reason for our strained relationship. we’ve always been distant from each other. it’s just how we are.” the male shrugged, glancing in her direction every now and then. “besides, even if anything happened -- it’s not like he’d never cheated on someone. not necessarily saying you, but there’s been a few girls he’s cheated on.” there he goes, talking too much again.

marleny breathed a soft sigh, her brows knitting together for a second. she didn’t really know what he meant, and maybe she wasn’t supposed to. despite being as intoxicated as she was, marleny could feel a strong knot in her stomach, one that made her feel like she was going to be on her knees in front of the toilet again. “i was going to have sex with you, maddox.” she whispered, pushing wispy pieces of hair from her face. “i was going to sleep with you while knowing that i was with your brother, and that doesn’t mean we’re bad people then i don’t know what does.” the girl unlaced herself from him, situating herself on her back. “i just, i don’t want to be the reason why you and marcus have a strained relationship. girlfriends come and go.”

MARCUS: yeah well word on the street says MARCUS: you been doing my brother a lot lately too MARCUS: guess that kinda kills those caring vibes after a while MARCUS: what the fuck ever marleny its a damn toy

from this point on maddox took note things were probably not going to end very well whether it be between marleny and he, she and marcus, or the brothers. one way or another, he’d basically fucked up when bad mouthing his twin. letting out a long sigh, he closed his eyes and laid back on his back. “marleny, we aren’t that bad. i’m just here comforting you because you miss your boyfriend. once you sleep this’ll all be over.” he mumbled, hands rubbing at his face in attempt to buy at least a few more seconds to gather his thoughts. all he wanted at this very moment was to change the subject completely before she began asking questions she didn’t want to know the answers to.

marleny adjusted her position, twisting a little bit as her arm draped across his stomach and her legs wiggled between his. the feeling of his thumb on his skin was comforting as she laid there with him, which was much better than sleeping alone. her face scrunched up a little bit, tugging her lower lip between her teeth for a second. “many, many ways.” she whispered, letting her eyes fall closed for a second. she noticed the way that the mood changed whenever they brought up marcus, and it was a shame, considering that she was laying in bed with marcus’ twin brother. “no, tell me. how is he not a nice guy? we’re the bad people here – look at us. you’re his brother and i’m his girlfriend and we’re in bed like it’s not that big of a deal.”

MARCUS: lol you act like we’re engaged  MARCUS: im just out here doing me and ur doing u MARCUS: what’s wrong w that? MARCUS: lion...dog....same thing

&&.         marcus couldn’t even bother attempting to hold in his laughter, watching his girlfriend’s expressions becoming too amusing at this point. “ oh come on, it wouldn’t be that bad right ? ” whether or not she believed so, he wouldn’t dare shave his head. his hair was his prize possession.  “ yeah, that sounds like a plan babe.” eyes closed for a few seconds as she placed a small kiss against his collarbone, too many thoughts wanting to jump at this opportunity.  “ now, now -- you know both of those are always going to be options.” hands were quick to fall to her thighs.  “ could even be what’s happening right now, you never know. ” cue that killer smirk that chipped in when it came to winning the girl over.

&&.          “ shave your head as in leavin’ it .  .  .  bald ? ”  cherry colored lips remained pressed together for a couple of long seconds, a light grimace slowly making appearance upon delicate features due to the amusing, yet peculiar thought of the male .  .  .  bald. “ your eyebrows would stand out. a lot. like, a lot. ”  the grimace was there, there was no doubt of it, but it slowly began to fade away since an amused grin began to appear upon her brims, his words enough to cause her to simply hum and nod her head ( and get that image of a bald marcus away from her mind ). “ just tell me when and i will try to go with you, yeah ? ” she muttered under her breath, knees slowly pressing themselves on either side of his body and lowering herself over his own, lips pressing a light, lingering kiss on his collarbone, but only to slowly brush them up to his defined jawline. “ does this mean i won’t be able to grab on your hair anymore ? ” she whispered against his skin, an amused smirk playing upon her features. “ just clawin’ down your back ? ”

“shut up,” he mumbled, his head shaking slightly though a small smile is still present on his face. standing to unbutton his jeans and then pulling them off, he watches the brunette follow his directions with an obvious grin. “and i like you obeying.” marcus teased, his hand dropping to give her heat a small tap. “maybe i wanna tease you a bit -- get you all hot and bothered before i actually fuck you?” 

“so i am better than her,” the female states, a satisfied smile playing on her lips now. “i think i’m starting to like this dominant side on you, daddy,” she replies to him, getting off his lap. it doesn’t take cleo long until she’s lying on the bed, legs spread as she wiggles her eyebrows. “what’s taking you so long, daddy?”

laughing at the brunette, the male shook his head and momentarily set the phone aside. “babe, i’m telling you i could be a pro at that. i could use mom’s models as my muses.” of course it was a joke, but in all honesty he’d probably already seen half of them completely naked and had photos somewhere. “yeah, not a problem.” he mumbles, standing up and reaching out for her arm before gently pulling her towards him. “you look so good, baby.”

“you need to shut up,” she chuckles, shaking her head at him. “yeah, go on and sign up for a class called ‘taking sneaky pictures of half naked girls’, that’ll surely get you somewhere,” she mutters, rolling her eyes as she steps into the dress. “you need to zip it up for me, though.”
