Things are going smoothly in Fernclan's first apprentices! Brazen`star's kits are apprentices now and she's given them each to a cat to help them grow!

Tigerstar in the #FlashfireAu is more competent and ruthless compared to the canon lore, why? Because honestly, why didn't you clap your only witness when he was frozen in fear?
Basically, after killing Redtail, and leaving his corpse immediately, he chases Ravenpaw down and manages to catch him. (Again: Ravenpaw is full of fear and tripping over things while Tigerclaw is calmed but enraged that his apprentice didn't listen to him.)
Anyways, he tells Thunderclan how Oakheart killed Ravenpaw and Redtail, while he was gloating Tigerclaw killed him in retaliation. Dustpaw mourns his brother and mentor's death and Tigerclaw sees Smudge in the clearing.
Fun changes:
- Tigerclaw uses his first apprentice Darkstripe to make Dustpaw see him as a hero. A backup ploy to slowly raise his popularity and chances to deputy hood.
- Smudge, now named Ashenpaw, is his apprentice and he sees him as the better Ravenpaw. "A crybaby that doesn't run."
- Tigerclaw becomes leader of Thunderclan when he kills Bluestar, and no one is none the wiser, he makes Whitestorm his deputy. (They were denmates and close friends)

Canon Designs for Shadowclan! It took me around 5+ hours worth of research to discover all canon ages and differences between the og book series and super editions for this era! Reminder, There are probably some cats missing, but that's because they either
A.) Don't have canon parents/aren't born yet in the first book
Or
B.) Were pop in characters like Whitethroat

[Brokenstar Era?]
I'm only focusing on characters that appeared in Yellowfang's secret, Into the Wild, Tigerstar's fury and Code of the clans! This means that I made a time line and actually managed to see just how jarring the canon timeline is!
[Changes?]
Dawncloud and Finchflight aren't mates, reason? Flinchflight was Rowanberry's mentor, Yellowfang's sister. Reminder: Yellowfang was described as OLD in the first book.
Dawncloud is only two moons older than Brown, Little and Wet. /They are barley ten moons in the beginning of the story and that's....gross./
Deerspot and Tangledburr are twins, sadly Runningnose doesn't look like then so no triplets! 😔
Flintfang is going to be Flashpaw's mentor! Badgerfang died around five moons ago making his death still fresh on everyone's minds!

Meet the two protagonists of the #Flashfireau that I am finalizing! I always felt like Smudge was an unused asset that had so many opportunities to be more to the plot should he be utilized well!
This au focuses more on realistic approaches that the main series doesn't really follow. After all Smudge and Rusty were kithood friends before he left him to join Thunderclan, so why not have this au focus on their friendship. Here's surface level notes for you guys bc I'm not gonna spoil everything 🙄
Some things that change in the main tale;
• Rusty joins Shadowclan, but doesn't become evil. Because a whole clan being born evil is just dumb, in the super editions of characters during Brokenstar's time shows regret and self-loathing.
• Rusty is considered "missing," by Smudge's standards, so he searches for his friend, only to be entangled with Thunderclan.
•Both get new names that differ from canon, it just makes sense ok?

Adult height chart, Rusty being smaller than Smudge is just Funny to me when he was bigger during their youth.

Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. He who controls the seasons can lead them to victory!
First up, Dillon's gift! He's able to split himself into four different versions of himself, that each embody a core trait of his. Here's the four's personalities from least helpful to most.
• Winter [Juniper] is his energetic wild side that doesn't like to be contained or bossed around. This man becomes easily agitated and has a lack of common sense.
• Fall [Pumpion] is the eager to please and emotional boyscoutt. He is considered the youngest of the four so he's constantly trying to find his place between the other three, often molding himself to fit their needs.
• Summer [Aster] is the laid back mentor type, who never stresses and often loves to laze about in heat spots. While he can be level headed and easy going, he'll sharpen his skills if he feels his full wariness is needed. He acts as the second head of the quadruple kids.
• Spring [Hellebore] is the humble leader that holds a natural quick wit as well as the most anxious one. He often finds himself nervous and easily distracted when outside of dangerous situations, but he finds that being around plants are calming.
