Ibara Hime - Playthrough (Part III)

Warning: Spoilers. R18 Story.

Finally for the last playthrough of this game~! There are only 2 more endings to go, and they’re Mizuki-focused ones.

Ending 3

(Note: This ending can be reached by Ririko wanting to meet Itoh after she had gone to school secretly on Saturday. However, due to options catering more to Mizuki, Ririko’s relationship with Itoh isn’t that good enough to reach the “Itoh” ending. The criteria are pretty much similar to ending 2 in a way.)

Ririko texted Itoh that she wanted to meet him, and he replied soon that he’s going over to meet her. Ririko let him know that she was not at home and was instead waiting at school. Itoh replied that he was at the train station and would return to school to look for her. As Ririko waited in the classroom for him, she looked out of the window as she pondered what she should do since she did not want to return home tonight. Since it won’t be good to stay over at Itoh’s house, she planned to have him accompany her at the karaoke, and later on staying overnight by herself in an internet cafe or a business hotel.

The time was 3PM when she noticed Mizuki running back towards the school. She gasped and quickly texted Itoh to ask if he’s coming here alone. (She’s worried about whether Itoh had let Mizuki know about her whereabouts.) The reply came from Itoh that he’s coming here alone, but Ririko noticed that Mizuki was also texting from the window. She felt that something is weird since there’s no way Itoh would lend his phone out to someone else, but it just seems like too much of a coincidence to her. She also wondered why Mizuki was returning back to school and started to get wary on who was the person she was actually texting before, the “person” who replied that he was at the train station... Getting worried that Mizuki might find her before Itoh does, Ririko knew that she had to run away and hide. She ran out of the classroom that “Itoh” and she had promised to meet, but trying to open the doors of other classroom proved to be futile, as they were mostly locked. Ririko finally found an empty abandoned classroom in the end, that hardly has any furniture at all. She hid in the shadow of a cupboard and decided to call “Itoh” to find out the answer to her suspicions.

Ririko heard Mizuki’s voice as he picked up the call. Trembling, she demanded to know why Mizuki was the one answering the phone when she had called Itoh. Mizuki replied that Itoh had things he had to attend to at home, and thus entrusted his phone to him. That definitely does not sound normal to Ririko, as she went on to ask on Minato’s whereabouts. Mizuki replied that Minato had gone home too and that he had revealed that he had sex with Ririko to Minato and Itoh at the train station. This revelation almost made Ririko faint, being heartbroken that her boyfriend and best friend had known about the truth.

Mizuki noticed that Ririko wasn’t at the classroom where she promised she was waiting in for Itoh and asked her where she was. (He had arrived! D:) Ririko hurriedly hung up on him and even turned off her phone in fear, wondering what she should do now since she can’t go home nor turn to her boyfriend or friend. Knowing that the door to the classroom she was currently at was not locked, Ririko worried that soon Mizuki would realise where she was hiding. As she was still panicking and planning what her next step should be, Mizuki found her. Ririko, being scared of him, cried at him not to get close to her and that she only wanted to meet Itoh. Mizuki smiled as he asked her why had she not understand the situation they were at now, claiming that he can’t live without her, and will destroy any obstacles standing between them. Ririko continued to cry and reject Mizuki, rebutting that Itoh was the person she likes. Mizuki deemed Itoh as a rival who had snatched Ririko away from him and even lectured Ririko that if she had broken up with Itoh earlier on, he won’t have to resort to using such a method (erm... like raping her =w=“) to get her for himself.

Mizuki continued on that when Itoh had wanted to punch him when he knew about the truth (Itoh actually did get angry here?! =w=“), and in return kicked Itoh a few times. (A Demon! This was literally what Ririko thought about Mizuki since he still hurt people and even steals Itoh’s phone during the commotion. On another note, Minato accompanied Itoh as they get away in the end.) Ririko felt that there was really no saving of Mizuki, seeing that he had raped his own sister and even hurt his friend physically. She blamed herself since she had avoided Mizuki, which might cause him to end up this way. Mizuki asked her to take responsibility by loving him back since Ririko is now the only person that can make him feel sexual lust.

With that, Mizuki forcefully kissed Ririko and slid his hand under her uniform. He reminded Ririko of the past where she saw him having sex with another girl in her bedroom, and when she had remembered what had happened at that time, Ririko ended up feeling disgusted and vomited on the floor. She pushed Mizuki away, asking him not to touch her and asked him if he had done that on purpose in the past, wondering why Mizuki was smiling happily at her. Mizuki revealed that he was already sexually in love with Ririko at that time, and Ririko thought to herself that it was not her fault that she was scared of her brother after seeing what had happened. This was all planned by Mizuki and thus Ririko blamed all of that had happened on him instead. Mizuki continued on that it was hard for him to stop his feelings when he was young and decided that he shall reveal his true feelings to Ririko instead. After that incident in the past, even though Ririko had avoided him, and he felt bad that Ririko didn’t even see him in the eye, he still felt better now that he doesn’t have to hide his feelings anymore. He had initially tried to have sex with other girls by pretending they’re Ririko, but he realised that even pretending wasn’t enough to make him cum anymore. He was glad that Ririko wasn’t interested in other guys since she’s a fan of manga and games, and was even confident in his sex skills that Ririko won’t be able to find anyone better than him in that area anymore. (??? Why are you so confident in this seriously?!!)

Ririko had enough of his nonsense and made her escape. She didn’t even want to be family with Mizuki anymore since her body and mind was rejecting Mizuki with all their might. She heard Mizuki calling her name as he ran after her, and quickly ran up the steps to the rooftop, in hope of getting help from Ezaki Senpai.

However, when she reached there, there was no one at the rooftop. Mizuki caught up to her and apologised, saying that he won’t do anything weird to her in school and pleaded for her to go home together. (Not doing it in school doesn’t mean that he won’t do anything to her at home, I’m not believing you Mizuki! D:) Ririko refused and claimed that she would rather die than to be touched by Mizuki again, to which Mizuki calmly asked her to die instead. He continued that Ririko must have not know how terrible he had felt to hide his own feelings from her when he was so close to her, and how hurtful he had felt when Ririko refused to look at him in the eye when he revealed his feelings to her. Ririko rebutted that Mizuki had decided to like her by his own choice, stating that he was just doing what he likes all this time, be it being soccer or girls, and thus did not see him as struggling and in pain. Mizuki explained that he puts in his all in soccer since he wanted to use his soccer skills as a career in the future to support Ririko financially, as he wasn’t good at studying. But his answer made Ririko felt disgusted seeing that he had already planned for his future with her, saying that she didn’t want him to plan her future for her and that he can always find a rich lady to support him using his good looks if he needs financial support in the future. Mizuki replied that such a situation was not possible since Ririko would always be the only girl he likes, and he would never fall in love with another girl. (And all the other girls were just an outlet for him to vent his emotions... Damn I feel bad for the other girls that he had dated before D:)

Ririko refused to listen to Mizuki and stated that she wanted nothing to do with him since she doesn’t like him romantically at all and just wanted him to leave her alone. (Mizuki is seriously sounding like a stalker, pleading her to fall in love with him ><”) Seeing that Ririko was expressing that she would rather die than being with him, Mizuki said that his troubles with her might be solved if she dies too, and offered her an option in the end - to decide which one of them to jump down from the roof of the building. Ririko started to hesitate, which made Mizuki taunted her to kill him since she had rejected him with all her might. Ririko replied that she found it hard to decide and that if Mizuki could return to just being her younger brother, both of them won’t have to die anymore. But Mizuki simply shook his head and said one of them had to be gone.

Ririko noticed that Mizuki had started crying, and realised that it’s been years she had seen the crying face of her brother. Mizuki revealed that he had always hated being seen as a twin of Ririko when they were young, since they were not, and had always wanted to change himself to be different from her. His wish was granted when he started growing up alot faster than Ririko, but he ended up feeling bad instead, seeing that even though his appearance had matured, his inner self still longed for his other half - Ririko. He had felt suspicious when he was young that their parents had decided to try for a baby right after Ririko was born, which resulted in him and Ririko being just 11 months apart. But this was all possible, and the more Mizuki had researched about having sex while one is still pregnant, the more he realized that it was the truth that Ririko and he were related by blood. (Guess he wanted a proof that Ririko and he aren’t really blood-related siblings, I guess he didn’t want to commit incest either D:)

Mizuki continued on that he had touched Ririko at night when they were still sleeping together when they were young, and that was also the first time he had cummed in his life. Their parents had known about this (Dad? Mum?) and did not reprimand him about it, though he noticed that they had looked at him differently after that. Mizuki had felt bad about that, and life became difficult for him as he struggled with his own feelings while listening to others commenting about Ririko and him being twins and siblings normally.

Even though Ririko had heard such comments multiple times in her life too, she did not feel terrible about it, though she does feel complex being compared to Mizuki. Mizuki reached out to her, touching her cheeks, then sliding down his hand to touch her neck, and then her chest. Even though they’ve been really close when they were young, she can’t help but to feel disgusted by the hand that was touching her now, and murmured out Mizuki should be the one to die instead.

The words had flown out naturally from Ririko’s mouth, and as Mizuki continued to touch her, Ririko started to feel more irritated and agitated at Mizuki. If Mizuki had not existed, Itoh and her would still be together happily. If Mizuki had died, he won’t have to feel troubled over his feelings for her anymore. Mizuki agreed though he asked Ririko to remember that the reason he’s committing suicide was not that he was escaping from "his future from now on”, and rather he was just fulfilling what Ririko had wanted him to do. He looked at her with his beautiful face, as he continued that Ririko was the one who had chosen to “run away”, and that he won’t leave Ririko even if he had died. Until the day Ririko had died, Mizuki would make her cry countless times... Mizuki confessed his love for Ririko one last time as he jumped over the railing of the rooftop, and then disappearing from Ririko’s sight as he jumped down the building. (Bye-bye Mizuki.... though Ririko still tell him that she hates him even until the last second before he jumped.)

Ririko bid goodbye to Mizuki after he was gone, though she felt that her life was most probably going to be the same as before even if he was gone. They did not see each other much before in their daily life as they spend most of their time in the house in their own room (other than mealtimes). Mizuki had not existed in her daily life up till now since they did not hang out together, nor talk much to each other. It had always been like this and shall remain like this in the future...

After Mizuki’s death, Ririko soon realised that she was pregnant. She took a year of sick leave from school and went out to the countryside, only to come back to resume her studies after giving birth to a boy. She had not told anyone who the father of the child is, as the child was Mizuki’s son.

Ririko felt that perhaps she had become weird after the whole incident with Mizuki. She saw herself as the one who had killed Mizuki, even though Mizuki’s death was classified as a suicide in the end, and had shut herself in Mizuki’s room every day, mourning for him. She had killed her own family, her own brother, a person who was barely even 20 years old.

When the parents realised that Ririko was pregnant, they forgave her as they were still deeply hurt and saddened by Mizuki’s passing. For the future of Ririko’s child, the parents had decided to adopt him and thus he was considered a stepbrother for Ririko in papers. Ririko had broken up with Itoh and cut ties with Minato too. Ririko guessed that the two might have realised what had happened in regards to Mizuki’s death, but they did not reveal anything to the police during investigations.

Ririko had decided to give birth to the child as a way to forgive herself and to overcome the guilt in her heart. This was the “hope” that her brother had left behind, which she felt that she should accept it no matter what.

The child was Yuki, and called Ririko by her nickname “Riri” (similar to how Mizuki called Ririko). He was bright and cheerful and had also joined the soccer club at school. Yuki knew that Ririko was his mum, as even though they were step-siblings on papers, Ririko had cared for Yuki as a mother, and even breastfeed him when he was a baby, not hiding the truth from him. Ririko had gotten over from her mourning of Mizuki when she realised that she was pregnant with Yuki, and after giving birth to Yuki, she worked hard at her studies and even managed to continue onto studying at a university. After she had graduated, she landed herself a temporary job that allows her to work until three when Yuki was still in kindergarten. Ririko’s life now revolved around working and doing household chores in the family.

After Yuki had gotten home and taken a shower, Ririko noticed him peeking at her phone in the living room, reading a text from someone. She asked him who had sent a message to her, as she was alright with her son looking at her phone. Yuki told her that the message was sent by Itoh. Ririko and Itoh were all now approaching 30s, and the two had exchanged numbers after meeting up unexpectedly recently. Itoh was still the last and only person she had dated, and seeing that both of them were still single, Ririko can’t help but remember her fond feelings for Itoh after meeting him again after all these years.

Yuki asked Ririko who Itoh is, which she decided to let him know that Itoh was someone she had dated before after hesitating. Yuki was confused since he knew that Ririko did not like guys, to which she replied that she had seen Itoh as someone she doesn’t dislike and that she still values her family members even if they were guys. Ririko grabbed the phone away from Yuki as she was planning on replying to Itoh, but Yuki pouted and told her to wait for another “2 years”. Ririko tried to assure him that Itoh and her weren’t going to be in a relationship, stating that the latter probably hates her. Yuki doesn’t believe it though since Itoh won’t send her such a message if he had hated her. Ririko glanced at the message and saw that he was inviting her and even Yuki out for a meal together. She assured Yuki again that Itoh was just an old friend, and was also the friend of her late brother. Yuki refused to let Ririko went out with Itoh, claiming that he’s not going to give Ririko out to another guy. Ririko guessed that her son was probably just being jealous at the thought of his mum being snatched away, and smiled, thinking that perhaps her son was just a mother-con. She promised him that she won’t meet up with Itoh, telling him that she only needed him.

Suddenly, Yuki apologised to Ririko for making her wait, telling her that she would only need to wait for another 2 more years for him. She looked at her son blankly and realised that Yuki had grown up looking alot like Mizuki. She started to feel puzzled on why Yuki kept talking about waiting for “2 years”, and Yuki started talking about how he had failed before and was determined to succeed... to which he meant having sex till the end, though he wasn’t confident of his skills. (My face seriously went “What the...” when I read this OAO”)

Ririko started to feel that her hands and legs had gone cold as she wondered who on earth is the child that is standing before her. The child told her that he knew that Ririko had given birth to him, the child of her brother, the child that was not allowed by the gods and had loved and cared for him. She had chosen him. (Probably meaning that Ririko had chosen Mizuki in the end by giving birth to Yuki.) Ririko denied as she panicked, thinking who could have told Yuki about him being the child of Mizuki as she had not told anyone before. She thought of Itoh and Minato, but she had already begged both of them not to reveal the truth in the past.

The child spoke again, saying that he had told Ririko to remember that he was not escaping at that time and that he would stay with Ririko until the day she dies. This was the future that Ririko had chosen, the future of him and Ririko, and that he had felt terrible for being loved by Ririko as a mother would for her child. With that, the child silently smiled, a smile that looks eerily similar to Mizuki. This was the moment that Ririko realised the mistake she had committed, she had killed her brother, but she did not kill his child. She had cared for the child as part of her responsibility, to wash away her guilt that her brother should not have died at that time. Ririko fell to her knees, crying out for forgiveness from the god, from Mizuki, from their parents, that she had given birth to a cursed child.

“Please take note Ririko. I’ll never give Ririko up to anybody. If you reject me, I’ll destroy everything.”

(Seriously this ending really gave me the goosebumps, what a scary ending TWT)

Omake - Ending 3

This was named as the “Yuki Ending”, and was one of the few endings that actually revealed what happened in the future. Even though this was quite close to being a true ending, the writer decided that it was considered a bad ending in the end. This was one of the endings that Mizuki had actually expressed his feelings the most since he usually won’t reveal much of his actual feelings out to Ririko actually. (I think other than this ending, probably ending 4 was the other ending he expressed much of his feelings to Ririko honestly.)

The writer also stated that this ending was one where Mizuki was the most stalkerish. Yuki’s presence in the ending was also debated to be one that is considered a lucky or unlucky creation. (Lucky as in Mizuki did not actually die but sort of reborn as Yuki I guess....) It was stated Yuki was the name of a male lead the writer had initially planned for another story - Ijime Kekaku, which is the story which developed into what Ibara Hime now. This ending was the ending of that story, which was stated to be way scarier. (I’m sort of curious but won’t dare to read if she ever published it ^^;)

Even though Ririko did not die in any of the endings in Ibara Hime, Mizuki felt that this may be the only ending which Ririko might die in the near future (probably committing suicide cause she can’t deal with the guilt anymore). Mizuki wondered whether Yuki had loved Ririko due to the blood flowing in him, and perhaps he had derived of the truth of his birth after learning about Mizuki from their parents, or listening to Ririko sleep talking as she does sleep talk in her sleep.

Mizuki clarified that even though Yuki was his child, he’s not Yuki. So, rather than Ririko being by Yuki’s side, he would rather that she comes to his side instead. (Can you imagine if Ririko dies in the future, and then Mizuki comes to fetch her in the spiritual world? It just seems like her nightmare would never come to an end D:)

Ending 5 (Mizuki’s Ending)

(The story up to the ending branch is pretty much the same, some of the options do reveal some interesting things about Mizuki.)

Near the beginning of the story, asking Itoh about Mizuki leaving home 30 minutes earlier revealed that Mizuki had come earlier to practise by himself. Itoh remarked that Mizuki was hardworking even though he’s more talented than others, and was already a regular when there are 30 seniors in the soccer team. (Poor Itoh may not have a chance to be a regular until at least the third years had graduated.)

In the morning after Mizuki had sex with Ririko for the first time (when she was sick), Mizuki told Ririko that she had avoided him after seeing have sex with other girls on her bed because she had complex feelings about him. Ririko asked herself if it’s true, did she have some feelings for Mizuki that she’s feeling weird to see him dating other girls? Mizuki is her blood-related brother, even if they look different now, Ririko knew that there were some parts of them which were similar to each other. She told Mizuki that they were siblings until the day they die.

What goes on was Ririko remembering what had happened three years ago, when she witnessed Mizuki having sex with another girl on her bed. She was afraid after knowing of Mizuki’s feelings towards her at that time and decided to avoid him so as to escape from his feelings towards her. Soon, avoiding her brother leads her to treat her brother as if he had not existed, and her feelings towards Mizuki warped towards one with some sort of rejection and dislike in it.

They’ve been close siblings ever since they were young, and Ririko was glad that Mizuki was her only brother even if he’s popular among other girls. But... at that moment, Ririko realised that her brother had chosen another girl for the very first time. Seeing the brother showing a side she had never seen before made her felt that she was betrayed. She had always thought that Mizuki belongs to her, but at that moment, Mizuki had belonged to another woman. The person before her had become someone she did not know anymore, and she denied him as the brother she had known. The person before her was just another man who desired her body, on her bed, in her bedroom. It seems like Ririko had already realised Mizuki’s feelings for her and had treated him as a man who desired her sexually from a very long time ago...

As Mizuki pushed Ririko down onto the bed again, she questioned him why does he decide to have sex with her now after three years, thinking that it’s all too late since he did not choose her in the very beginning. Mizuki answered that even though it will be easier to lay his hands on Ririko in the past, Ririko was too childish in his eyes at that time. He was afraid of being separated from Ririko if his parents had known that they have sex together. The reason why the siblings did not bath nor sleep together at a certain time when they were young was that their parents had spotted Mizuki masturbating by Ririko’s side, and this was why they arranged Mizuki’s bedroom to have a lock so that Ririko would not accidentally come across Mizuki masturbating in the future (and thus he can masturbate in peace =w=“). Even though the parents had seen Mizuki masturbating, they did not think of it as Mizuki having feelings for his sister, though Mizuki will still worry that if they had known about his feelings, they would definitely do something about it.

After learning about what their parents had done, Ririko calmed down. She can’t return the feelings for Mizuki since that would mean that she would betray her parents and end up hurting Minato and Itoh. Sensing Ririko’s worry, Mizuki smiled as he assured her that they would be able to keep their relationship a secret and hide from their parents well. Mizuki had planned to use his skills in soccer to attain a spot in a university in Tokyo, asking Ririko to come with him when the time comes, and both of them would be able to stay together by themselves. Ririko tried to rebut that it’s impossible for siblings to fall in love with each other, but Mizuki pleaded for her to accept his feelings since he really loves her and would never want to give her up to another guy.

Ririko replied that even though she didn’t want to betray their parents, she loves Mizuki too. Knowing Ririko’s true feelings, Mizuki assured her that everything would be alright since he would handle everything well from now on. Ririko argued with him that even if they love each other, they won’t be able to announce their relationship, and she won’t be able to date anyone else as long as she has feelings for him, wanting to know Mizuki’s reaction to that. Mizuki assured her that he will only have feelings for her and wanted her to do the same for him, and both of them decided in the end to break off their current relationship and apologise to Minato and Itoh. Even though Ririko had accepted Mizuki’s feelings, she still wished that Mizuki will fall in love with someone else in the future, getting married and have a child with another girl. When the time comes, maybe she would also get married and have a child too. Perhaps their children would be able to be together if they fall in love with each other since cousins were allowed to be in a relationship and marry in their country.

Mizuki asked to kiss Ririko for one last time, and they continued to have sex for one last time before hiding away their feelings for each other once again. Even though Ririko had felt disgusted once for having sex with her brother, but now... she felt happy and blessed for having sex with her beloved.

After a night of having sex together, Ririko went for shopping on the next day, met up with Mizuki unexpectedly at the train station (since he had finished his club activities), then decided to walk home together. Both of them had called Minato and Itoh respectively yesterday night and broke off their relationship, though they did not reveal the reason for doing that because they were in love with their sibling. The siblings had returned back to being close siblings who love each other romantically in their hearts as if what had happened in the past three years was all just a lie. When they reached home, they realised the door was unlocked, and thus knew that their parents had returned home. Their parents were deep in a conversation, with their mother getting angry about something that had happened in their hometown, and said that Mizuki was her child and she’s not going to give him up to anyone else.

Realising that something was amiss, Mizuki decided to ask them what they were talking about. Their mother was crying, and thus their father decided to explain what had happened to them. As their uncle had passed away (which is why the parents had to leave and attend the funeral), their grandmother had requested for their aunt and nephew to stay with her in accompany. This may sound like nothing to do with Mizuki, but it turned out that Mizuki was actually their aunt’s son, whom she had given birth to when she was 18. As the family did not know who the father of the baby is at that time and since the aunt having no income to take care of the baby, it was said that she had abandoned the baby after giving birth to him. Ririko’s mother was the one who had chosen to take care of Mizuki and treated him as her own child and thus was not willing to give Mizuki back to his biological mother.

Mizuki decided to reveal his feelings to their parents, telling them that he wanted Ririko for himself, and was glad to know that he was not blood-related to her now that he had realised the truth of his birth. Since Mizuki had even planned to marry Ririko in the future, he asked to revert to being cousins with Ririko and be given independence so that he can become stronger to be someone compatible for Ririko. However, this would mean that Mizuki won’t be able to stay in this home anymore and have to go back to stay with his biological mother. Ririko’s mother initially refused to, stating over again and again that both Mizuki and Ririko were her children, but after listening to their father asking her to respect Mizuki’s wishes, and assured her that their family bond won’t get broken that easily even if Mizuki isn’t part of their immediate family anymore, she agreed reluctantly in the end. Mizuki apologised for wanting things to be done his way, but he really loves Ririko and wanted to do anything he can to be with her, stating that it was hard for him when he was in love with her. Even though he felt pitiful that he had to abandon his current parents, he knew that if he marries Ririko in the future, they were all be a family again. (His biological mother is just someone he can use to make this future a possibility.)

Mizuki was glad to know that he’s not abnormal since this was an issue he had struggled with for a very long time, thinking that he might be a narcissist for falling in love with his sister. Even though it may be another 2-3 years before Ririko could even stay with Mizuki, they now look forward to the future where they can stay together by aiming to get into the same university together. It’s been a short week, but the relationship between Ririko and Mizuki had changed dramatically, from falling in love with each other and becoming cousins in the end. Even though they would be away from each other for a period of time, Ririko told herself that everything would be alright, since she knew that Mizuki would be the only person she loves...

(Seems like Mizuki and Ririko are finally together and they’ll be able to attain their happy ending.... or not.)

After a month, Mizuki left their home and went to stay with his biological mother, transferring to a private school making use of his good soccer skills. The couple called and texted each other to continue on their relationship. One night, just before the phone call with Mizuki, Ririko head off into the living room, where she spotted her father drinking and watching the television.

Ririko’s father remarked that he did not expect that Ririko and Mizuki were still dating even though they were in a long-distance relationship, and felt weird since he had always seen them as a pair of siblings who are close in age just a while ago. He was worried that they were planning to marry each other and asked for them to break up and date other people instead.

Ririko had felt weird and wondered why her father wasn’t pleased to have Mizuki as a son (in-law) again, to which he repeated for them to break up again, stating that they were still blood-related. (Hmmm?!!! OAO”) Ririko initially thought he was referring to them being cousins and reminded him that cousins were able to get married, but he decided to reveal the ultimate truth about Mizuki’s birth to her - Mizuki was her father’s child, so ultimately, they’re still siblings.

Ririko was in a loss of words and thought about all the information she had known about their family history. She knew that Mizuki’s mother was her aunt, and not her mother, which means that Mizuki was the child of her father and her aunt. She demanded an explanation from her father, and he reluctantly revealed that he and their uncle (the one who had passed away I supposed) had tied their aunt (which is actually their sister so what the....) up and raped her one night when they were heavily drunk. That ended up making her pregnant and gave birth to Mizuki. Even though Ririko’s father denied having feelings for his own sister now, he was not able to restrain his sexual urges at that time and thus it troubled him now to see that Mizuki was feeling the same as how he did in the past.

Now that Ririko had known the true identity of Mizuki, her father hoped that Ririko would give up on their relationship since they were still half-siblings. But Ririko calmly replied that she had long decided not to care whether Mizuki and she were blood-related or not anymore, and firmly declared that they’re going to get married no matter what. Ririko’s answer shocked her father as he grabbed onto her, begging her to give up on the relationship. However, Ririko taunted her father back not to cause a commotion since her mother might end up divorcing with him if she had known the truth. She even added on that if her father had not wanted to continue the mistaken, he should have punched their aunt’s tummy when she had shown signs of being pregnant from the very beginning to erase Mizuki’s presence.

Knowing how troubled Mizuki had felt towards their forbidden relationship in the past, Ririko knew that Mizuki would definitely be very depressed if they were siblings again after what he had done to make sure they were considered cousins in the society. So in order to protect Mizuki, Ririko decided to hide the truth. She thanked her father for taking care of Mizuki as his own son and complimented that Mizuki had turned out to be an excellent person, putting his weird fetish aside.

Realising that it’s almost the time for her daily phone call with Mizuki, Ririko head back to her room, knowing that Mizuki would definitely kick up a big fuss if she was late as he was easily jealous. Hearing Mizuki’s cheerful voice over the phone, Ririko vowed to bring happiness to her beloved. She knew that their aunt was glad to hear of their relationship when they told her they were in love with each other, and thus there won’t be any objection from that side for their future. However, Ririko told herself that she decided to have only one child with Mizuki, as she did not wish the fate of falling in love with their sibling to fall on her child ever again.

(In the end, this is still considered a bad ending for Ririko, though it’s more of a bitter-sweet ending.)

Omake - Ending 5 (Mizuki’s Ending)

Ending 5 is yet another true ending (other than Itoh’s ending), and is an ending which revealed Mizuki’s birth finally. Even though this ending seems like the happiest ending, it ended up being bittersweet in the end, since rather than cousins, the siblings turned out to be half-siblings. Mizuki still felt that this was his best ending though since he could be with Ririko and marry her as cousins. He was also thankful to their parents for taking care of him ever since he was young.

Finally, the writer revealed that she had created this game in around 4 months, and stated that before Ibara Hime, she was writing another short story called “Ijime Kekaku” (as mentioned in another omake), which is about a girl landing herself in an all-guys school. She revealed some information about that story (not going to translate much of that since it’s kind of complicated), but ultimately some parts of that story, especially the part of the male lead being yandere and good-looking, was what that made into the final story of Ibara Hime. Also, you readers might have realised it by now, Ibara Hime did not have a happy ending for Ririko, as this game was planned to be a helpless tragic incest love story from the very beginning by the writer.

Ibara Hime - Playthrough (Part II)

Warning: Spoilers. R18 Story.

Here’s the next playthrough log of Ibara Hime~ I was planning to wrap up the game in this post but turned out that the remaining 4 endings were still pretty long, so I’ve split up the endings again into two separate posts. The playthrough this time will mostly focus on Itoh, Ririko’s boyfriend since there’s an ending dedicated to him (sort of).

Ending 2

Ririko texted Itoh that she wanted to meet him, and decided to hide in an empty classroom after notifying him where she was. She got a phone call from Mizuki, who told her to come home, and asked her where she was. He also informed her that Minato had come to their house and was staying in Mizuki’s room, telling him that he needed her. (Minato sounded desperate) Ririko sarcastically congratulated Mizuki, asking them to get along well together. Mizuki threatened Ririko by saying that perhaps it’s best to tell Minato that they had sex together, but Ririko wasn’t threatened at all, even rebutted that she shall not return home forever, and would rather sell her body for money and staying at internet cafes. Mizuki told Ririko to knock it off since he doesn’t think of Ririko of someone capable of selling her body anyway and demanded her to come home straight away since there would be a harsh punishment later on if she did not do so.

Ririko did not fall for Mizuki’s threat again, rebutting that she doesn’t care anymore since she’s not even a virgin now and that there’s nothing scarier in this world than getting raped by her own brother. (Woah... that was a harsh blow on Mizuki D:) Mizuki urged Ririko to stop harbouring such thoughts as he warned her of maniacs capturing her and keeping her in captive forever using drugs. (How did you even think of such a possibility, Mizuki? Unless you’re planning on using such a plan as well~~ =w=“) Ririko refused to listen to Mizuki and prayed furiously in her heart for Itoh to come and meet her.

Finally, Itoh arrived and got a phone call immediately. Seems that it was a 3-way call, but Itoh told Mizuki that Ririko had not contacted him when the latter asked him about Ririko’s whereabouts.

When the phone call had ended, Itoh asked Ririko whether she had gotten into a fight with Mizuki, and felt that it’s best that she returned home tonight. Ririko told him that she didn’t want to return home now that her parents were not around, and asked Itoh to accompany her until night time before she went to stay in a business hotel. Since Ririko’s parents would only return on Sunday afternoon, Itoh suggested that they sing karaoke all night to pass through the time. Even though Ririko worried that Itoh won’t get enough rest that way as he and Mizuki had club practices tomorrow morning till afternoon, Itoh assured her that he can sleep in the karaoke room and that he would take a short nap at home tomorrow morning too.

Ririko knew that Itoh was suggesting that to accompany her through the night as it might get lonely for her to stay at the hotel at night, and thus suggested Itoh accompany her at the hotel instead so he can rest better. Itoh told her truthfully that he felt that he won’t be able to restrain himself anymore if both of them were alone at the hotel, and asked Ririko if that was alright. (In a way, he’s asking permission for sex already at this point of time ^^;) Itoh suggested Ririko to at least let Mizuki know that she’s staying elsewhere safe and that she can lie that she’s staying at a friend’s home just to make Mizuki feel reassured. (Guess Itoh didn’t want Mizuki to get too worried) Ririko knew that Mizuki would guess that she’s lying if she said she’s staying at a friend’s home since she doesn’t really have any other close friends other than Minato. Itoh asked again what was the reason she didn’t want to go home, but Ririko could only mutter a reply that Mizuki was being weird (maybe weird is just a nicer way of saying it, Mizuki’s love is going towards the crazy end...), and felt that perhaps Mizuki was seeing Ezaki Senpai in her... (Ririko still felt that maybe Mizuki was still in love with the senpai rather than her...? o.O Or maybe she’s just telling that to herself since she doesn’t believe that Mizuki loves her...)

Itoh decided to dote on Ririko, telling her that she’s cute and he actually envied Mizuki for staying in the same home as her ever since they’ve started dating. He knew that Mizuki was talented and good-looking with a great personality, and was worried that Ririko might dote on her younger brother and cherished him more than Itoh himself. Ririko didn’t want to hear anything more about Mizuki though and instead asked to be closer to Itoh.

They started kissing, and before she knew it, Itoh’s hand was on her thigh and pulling up her skirt. Turned out that Itoh had started to get horny and suggested that perhaps they should head to a hotel now even though it was still noon. The situation then proceeded onto both them wanting to have sex right now. (Guys you two are still at school and in a classroom >/////<)

However, when Itoh went under her, he decided to stop, telling her it’s no good. Ririko worried perhaps Itoh didn’t feel sexually simulated enough upon seeing her private area, but Itoh asked her whether she was truly in love with him with a furious expression.

Turned out that Itoh had discovered kiss marks all around her inner thighs, and he could see that these were landed recently. He remarked that Ririko’s area around her private parts was “dirty”, and Ririko blamed herself for not discovering those herself and had even wanted to have sex with Itoh normally after being raped by Mizuki. Itoh guessed that Ririko must not be a virgin any more after seeing the kiss marks (since no way a guy would not have sex after leaving kiss marks all over the private area of a girl’s body OAo), to which Ririko worried whether Itoh wanted to dump her after knowing that she’s not a virgin. Itoh assured her that it’s not because of that, but rather he felt that he was the one being toyed by Ririko instead since it seems like he was the only one who loved her while she decided to have sex with someone else behind his back. He told Ririko that the kiss marks were meant as a symbol by some other guy that Ririko belongs to him, and as a display for Itoh to see. (Mizuki you’re really a jerk to NTR your best friend =w=“)

Ririko could only shed tears after knowing what Mizuki had done to destroy the relationship between her and Itoh. Itoh gave Ririko a chance to explain herself or to break up now, even though he was seriously really pissed at the moment. He grabbed her hands and started kissing her neck, leaving a kiss mark on it, and then started doing the same thing on various parts of her body, where they can be easily seen even if she’s dressed. (Wow, I did not expect Itoh to be someone who would do something like this? O////O Jealousy is strong here O////O) Ririko felt pained and pushed him away, to which Itoh glared at her and demanded to know who was the one who had landed the kiss marks on her. Itoh told Ririko that he still loves her and wanted to have sex with her, though he can’t guarantee that he would be gentle with her. Ririko felt the same way towards Itoh too. Even if he might end up being rough on her during sex, she still wanted to have sex with him, if it can erase away the feeling of being raped by her brother.

However, after thinking through, Ririko would rather they break up than to tell Itoh that she was being raped by her brother. Itoh showed a sad expression when he realised that she didn’t want to tell him, and guessed that he was indeed being toyed by her. He told her to stop pretending that she’s not good with guys anymore since she’s Mizuki’s sister. (Hello? Mizuki is a womanizer doesn’t mean that Ririko would be ><”) He felt silly for not suspecting her at all and broke up with her.

“Bye-bye Ririko. Even though it’s only been a short while, it was happiness for me.” (You hardly get to see a breakup line in an otome game seriously =w=“)

Ririko could only break down and cry after Itoh had left. She really likes him and didn’t want to break up with him actually. But as a girl with kiss marks like this, she sees herself of incapable of attaining happiness with him. (Girl really sees herself badly too D:) She knew that she would not be able to attain happiness for the rest of her life since Itoh might be the only person who actually loved her in this world.

Since Mizuki had ruined her happiness, Ririko felt that there was no meaning of her escaping from home anymore, and felt she was stupid for rejecting her brother all this while. Thus, she decided to went home. (This just sounds like the fall of Ririko TWT)

When Ririko reached home, she noticed a pair of female shoes by the door. She realised that Minato was still here, and wished she would leave soon since Minato’s presence here will destruct her plan, as she took a knife from the kitchen and hid it behind her. (Ririko, you’re not planning to?! OAO) Ririko planned to kill Mizuki, thinking that since it’s her fault for making Mizuki be what he was today, she had to do something to finish all of this.

Ririko head up to her room and things turned out to be just like how it was three years ago. She thought she had opened the door to Mizuki’s room, but now that she thought about it, Mizuki’s room was locked and hers wasn’t (since her room didn’t have a lock), and turned out the door she had actually opened was her own bedroom door. Mizuki and Minato were on her bed (Guys?! Please do it on your bed D:), and when Minato spotted her, she hurriedly gets away from Mizuki and tidied her clothes.

Minato noticed that Ririko was wearing her school uniform and asked her if she had gone to school, to which Ririko coolly asked her to leave since they were in her room. Minato smiled as she apologised, saying that Mizuki needed “this type of treatment”, even joking that Mizuki seems to be a “sis-con”. (Minato, this is really not something to joke about now. How can she still laugh at this moment? =w=“) In the end, Mizuki urged her to go home since her role here was done. Minato apologised for “dirtying” Ririko’s bed before leaving. (Her apology doesn’t even sound sorry at all =w=“)

Mizuki smiled happily as Ririko returned to him. Ririko remembered why she had avoided Mizuki at that time when she spotted a girl with him in her bedroom. She had found the act of them having sex in her room as bizarre since he could have used his room instead as that room can be locked. She pretended that everything was normal as she approached Mizuki slowly with the knife still hidden behind her. Mizuki was holding his hands out to her, welcoming her back, and Ririko felt that this was the best chance she has to stab seeing that he was unguarded against her. Ririko rushed towards him with the knife, wishing that even if she wasn’t able to stab him in the chest, it would be good if he was stabbed in the stomach (at least that gave her some time to escape?), but in reality, she ended up just stabbing the blanket instead...

Mizuki smirked as he told Ririko that her actions were slow to him as if it was playing in slow motion, so he was able to dodge them easily. (Well Mizuki was very athletic afterall D:) He guessed that even if he was indeed stabbed, he might not get too injured since Ririko wasn’t able to use much strength. As Ririko pondered whether she should try stabbing him again, Mizuki taunted her not to give up as it would be too boring, even giving her suggestions that she should have to try kissing him and stab him in the midst of it instead. (Mizuki sure was good at thinking up all these scenarios... =w=“)

Just then, Mizuki grabbed onto Ririko’s hands and used them to position the knife to be pointing at her own chest. He smiled as he asked her to kill herself instead since she had failed to kill him, and said if any of them had died, they would still be linked to each other for the rest of their lives. Ririko closed her eyes in fear, thinking that perhaps it would be better to die rather than being controlled by Mizuki for the rest of her life. She wanted to blame her parents for giving birth to them so close in a year since their minimal age gap had caused Mizuki to turn out like this. (Maybe if Ririko was way older than Mizuki, all these might not have happened?... I’m not exactly sure D:) She thought about what would happen if she were to die, perhaps their family would be easier to manage when that happens, and Mizuki would return back to being a normal guy if she had not existed.

Suddenly, Mizuki grabbed tightly onto her hands, making her drop the knife in pain. He kicked away the knife swiftly to the other end of the room and pushed her onto the bed. Noticing the kiss marks on her neck, Mizuki guessed that those must have been planted by Itoh and sort of guessed what had happened between them. Ririko cried for Mizuki to forgive her and let her go since she knew that she won’t be happy with him. Mizuki told her that she would attain happiness as long as she falls in love with him, and proceed onto landing kiss marks right above where Itoh had planted his. (Wow, this is just overwriting in a way... OWO”)

Ririko told him that there won’t be any happiness if siblings were to fall in love with each other, to which Mizuki asked her why. He’s willing to be with Ririko and just having sex with each other would be enough for him even if they do not marry nor have children with each other. Ririko rebutted that Mizuki’s mind must be damaged to not register what she had been telling him, but Mizuki insisted that since their mother had always said that he was a child being picked up from under the bridge, they’re not really blood-related and thus she can put away her worry and just fall in love with him. (Feels that Mizuki was the one who wanted to believe they’re not blood-related.) Ririko replied that their mother was just joking in the past when she said that, and that they even look like twins when they were young. It’s the truth that they’re indeed siblings. Mizuki told Ririko once again that he doesn’t care what others would view them as long as Ririko loves him, and wished that she would look at him as a man instead of as a brother.

Ririko had viewed Mizuki as attractive and didn’t know any girl that was not attracted by him. But no matter what, she and he were siblings, adding on to the fact that Ririko now realised that she loves Itoh. She told Mizuki that Itoh was the one she loves, so even if Mizuki and she aren’t siblings, she would choose to be with Itoh instead. (Guess it’s a scenario of “even if you had my body, you won’t get my heart”.) Mizuki coolly reminded Ririko that Itoh had broken up with her and told her not to say his name anymore, but obviously Ririko doesn’t listen, claiming over and over again that she loves Itoh, and still loves him even if she was being dumped. (Awww~~~ TWT)

Just then, Mizuki mummered out a scary thought - he had to make Itoh disappear since he believed that with Itoh gone, Ririko would forget about him over time and might fall in love with him instead... (OAO”) Ririko had thought that he might be joking but Mizuki claimed he wasn’t. He even planned to cut away Ririko’s legs so the latter can’t go and find Itoh if she had wanted to, and then he would stay by her side and take care of her forever and ever... Ririko didn’t fear him though and rebutted that he can try doing that, but he would get caught by the police, and thus, even without her legs, she would be free from Mizuki forever.

Mizuki suddenly fell silent, as he got off from the bed and picked up the knife that was lying across the room. Holding up the knife against her leg, he confessed that he loves her legs. Ririko said that she felt that her legs were short and fat and thus wished Mizuki would take it away. (Not sure Ririko was just acting strong or falling in depression when she said this.) Mizuki thanked her, though he felt that just cutting off her legs would just make Ririko feel that her legs were gone (which probably isn’t anything in Mizuki’s eyes OAO”), and decided that maybe he should try destroying her vagina instead. (Scary!!! OAO”)

Mizuki knew that he shouldn’t have a child with Ririko, and thus felt that it’s useless for Ririko to have a vagina since she shouldn’t give birth to their child anyway. He only wanted to see Ririko’s happy expressions, claiming that this was enough and he would continue to love her even if she doesn’t have a vagina. (Why not you just cut away your penis then Mizuki? I really don’t get this logic =w=“) He pointed the knife blade right at her private parts with the knife between her legs, making Ririko starting to breathe irregularly as she worriedly looked at Mizuki’s action. Mizuki wondered which parts of Ririko he shall take away, and happily decided that maybe he shall take her head instead. Ririko realised that rather than taking away her freedom (legs), or the ability to have sex (vagina), Mizuki seems to have decided to remove her existence (since she would most definitely be dead without her head.) Mizuki bid goodbye to her, telling her to love him the next time they meet, and the last thing Ririko saw before her mind went black, was her brother smiling at her...

As she lost consciousness, Ririko was glad that at least she didn’t have to experience the feeling of being killed, and wondered that with her gone, maybe Mizuki would be released of his feelings towards her. Will he feel that he was being saved? Will he feel sad about the loss of her? Will he be able to live on happily? She felt that Mizuki should be able to live on even with what had happened. Even as a murderer, there are still many people who were willing to love him, and overall, she felt that he had more of a right to keep living more than her... (This just sound so depressing coming from Ririko. In the end she still views herself lower than Mizuki TWT)

Ririko awoke later on and realised that she was at the hospital, with her mother looking worriedly over her. She checked herself, and it seems like none of her body parts was missing. Ririko asked for Mizuki’s whereabouts and got to know from her mother than Mizuki had died, leaving behind a short letter for their parents.

“Dad and Mum, I’m sorry. I’ve been in love with my sister all this while. Thus, in order to save myself, I’ve decided to escape from living this life. I’m sorry for making this decision by myself without telling you guys about it.”

(Maybe this is also one of those rare times I get to read a suicide letter in an otome game. TWT)

Ririko’s mother cried and claimed that Mizuki was a foolish child. If he had discussed this matter with them, they might be able to save him. (Perhaps this might be a clue to what would happen in another ending...) She blamed herself for discovering Mizuki’s issues earlier. It was also arranged that Ririko would have to undergo counselling later on, as, at the time she was being discovered by their parents, Mizuki’s blood had splatted on her when she was unconscious. Turned out that Mizuki had committed suicide by slashing his own neck and collapsing next to her.

Even though she noticed that her mother was crying really badly and suffering from the loss of Mizuki, Ririko realised that she wasn’t even sad at all at the death of her brother. (I don’t blame her though, Mizuki had probably scarred her mind for the rest of her life.) It seems as though she had lost sense of her feelings. She had hoped to run away from Mizuki since the latter had done acts on her like a criminal and thus felt that it was perhaps good that Mizuki had died since she would be free now. But Ririko had also known that Mizuki had died because of her, and wondered that perhaps Mizuki had felt committing suicide was a “beautiful” way of ending this twisted and stalkerish love. She remembered Mizuki’s last words - to love him when they next met and thought to herself that hopefully, he would rest in peace until then...

(This ending actually made me a little sad and teary in the end... Mizuki’s last words are too powerful TWT I shall talk more about this ending in the review portion.)

Omake - Ending 2

This ending is considered yet another bad ending and the author felt that this was perhaps the most “hunter-like / scariest” ending. Mizuki wondered whether he would be saved if their parents had revealed about his birth... But their father... and Ririko.... (This part was said in a way that it’s a very mysterious way. The author might be hinting something here towards a certain ending.) However, Mizuki felt that even if they were not siblings in this ending, there’s a very high possibility that Ririko would still end up with Itoh anyway. (So... *shrug* no way Mizuki can have a happy ending in this ending no matter what.)

Ending 4 (Itoh’s Ending)

(Note: This ending is reached by choosing all the options that favoured towards Itoh more than Mizuki - in other words choosing to be mean / not nice towards Mizuki if possible, and then choosing to meet Itoh and telling the truth to him in the latter part of the story.)

Major story branches from the moment Ririko had fallen from the stairs.

When Ririko fell from the stairs, she felt that the one who had caught her was Itoh. Since she felt that the scent and warmth of the person who had caught her were very familiar to her, the scent and warmth of a person she gets to know recently... (Hinting to Itoh) She was glad that Itoh had helped her and was by her side, and knew that regardless of what happens from now on, Itoh would come to her aid. (Ririko began to rely on Itoh) She realised that she really likes Itoh, and wanted to be by his side forever.

When she awoke, she realised that Minato was by her side, looking at her sleeping all this while. (Minato is still a good friend even though she... can be inappropriate at times ^^;) She informed Ririko that it was already after school when she had awoken. She offered to pick up Ririko’s bag and was excited to stay over at Ririko’s and Mizuki’s home at night, claiming that she didn’t help much earlier on and now wanted to do what she can to take care of Ririko. It was revealed that Mizuki was the one who had caught Ririko, to which Ririko actually felt abit relieved since she didn’t want Itoh to get hurt while carrying her, and getting a shock when he realised how heavy she was. (So it’s okay for Mizuki to get hurt? XD)

Minato was a great girl in Ririko’s eyes and she felt that the best future for Mizuki was perhaps being a couple with Minato. However, Ririko’s hope for such a future was smashed when she, later on, heard a confrontation between Minato and Mizuki at home, where Mizuki admitted that he likes Ririko romantically, and thus didn’t want to get a girlfriend anymore. Minato told Mizuki that his overprotectiveness of Ririko was disturbing and disgusting, seeing that she had an older brother and would not forgive her brother for harbouring such a feeling for her if that were to happen. She also expressed that she’s disappointed that Mizuki was actually such a person.

Ririko had tried to act as though she had not heard the confrontation (I think they’re quarrelling either in her bedroom or right outside her room), but Mizuki realised she’s awake when he came to check on her after Minato had left. Ririko continued to act that she was still asleep, and realised that Mizuki had sneaked his finger into her mouth and started toying around with her tongue. Ririko didn’t know why Mizuki was doing this and tried hard to continue to pretend to be asleep. Just then, she felt Mizuki’s weight on the bed as he climbed on top of her, and opened her eyes in a hurry.

Mizuki knew that she had overheard his conversation with Minato earlier on, and said that he had been told that his feelings for Ririko were disgusting. He started fondling the lower part of her body, to which Ririko started to regret that she was just wearing a shirt and her undies now since Mizuki began to unbutton all her buttons and remove her underwear easily. Ririko had wondered that perhaps Mizuki had decided to say that he’s in love with her as an excuse to get away from Minato, asking him whether he had done that as a revenge to her. But Mizuki simply smiled and said that he was just confessing his true feelings.

As Mizuki started fingering with her, Ririko started to feel good, though she still questioned herself on the reason why Mizuki was doing all these to her. One possibility she thought of was Mizuki didn’t have any girls he likes and thus played his hands on her just to make through this moment when he’s feeling lonely and unloved. Mizuki continued onto licking her private area, making Rirko felt guilty that she’s actually enjoying it as much as she didn’t want her body to feel that way. She tried to lecture Mizuki for laying his hands on a patient (since she was still sick), but he simply smiled and said that’s her punishment for trying to act asleep. He confessed to Ririko again and told her that the person she likes wasn’t Itoh at all, and the reason why she did not fall in love in her life at all was all because she was bothered by Mizuki’s presence. (Feels like a round of brainwashing Ririko that she actually likes him all these years....) With that, Mizuki forcefully kissed Ririko, even french kissing with her until she ran out of breath. (And Mizuki wasn’t even panting at all, why is he so good?!)

Mizuki then took off his clothes and got on top of Ririko, and as he prepared to have sex with her, he asked her whether she has a condom since he doesn’t have one on him. (.... seriously why are you asking her?.... =w=“) Ririko pleaded him not to touch her and that he can do whatever he likes with Minato the next day anyway since they’re going for a pool date, but Mizuki affirmed that Minato and he aren’t dating and that he found her annoying. Since Minato had found Mizuki disgusting for liking Ririko anyway, she won’t be coming near him again, which actually works for Mizuki instead. Ririko cried as she begged Mizuki not to come into her, but Mizuki only smiled gently at her, telling her that she will get used to it over time. (The devil in an angel’s appearance! ><”)

Ririko thought to herself that she did not like Mizuki at all, feeling pained, scared and disliked this whole situation, even though her body was saying the otherwise. She wondered why Mizuki had become such a guy since he used to a bright and cheerful boy who would always protect her, so... why on earth is he doing such hurtful things to her now? She wished this situation would end quickly, as she can’t wait for Mizuki to leave her body, as she harboured thoughts of hating him. Mizuki, however, kept confessing to her that he loved her and can’t leave her side. (What a contrast...) Mizuki ultimately cummed in Ririko.

When the sex is over, Ririko tried to leave the room, but Mizuki stopped her, asking her to stay by his side and that he was still not yet satisfied. (??? Who cares about you being satisfied or not? =w=“) Ririko ignored Mizuki though and walked out of the room. (Next up was the whole situation of Ririko going to school, meeting Ezaki Senpai, then getting a text from Itoh. It’s going to be the same scenario where she tells Itoh that she wanted to meet him like what was written in Ending 2. So I’m just going to skip straight away to the part where Itoh gave her choice to tell him the truth or break up with him.)

Ririko realised that she really loves Itoh and didn’t want to break up with him. She pleaded for Itoh to save her and that she’s scared to be going through this nightmare. She admitted that the kiss marks on her thighs were planted by Mizuki, and this was why she didn’t want to go home. She trembled as she had no idea what to do next. She had planned to hide the truth from Itoh initially, but knowing that she would have to break up with him if she did not tell him about the truth, she would rather tell him the truth even if they ended up breaking up anyway.

However, unlike what she had feared, Itoh hugged her. Even though she could not see Itoh’s expression, she felt warmth, as he told her that he would believe her words. Itoh confirmed Ririko’s feelings again and she told him that the only person she ever loves was him. He comforted her not to worry and that they would think of a solution together. Ririko felt that Itoh was indeed a good person who stayed by her even knowing that she was now “dirtied”.

As they parted from their hug, Itoh suggested talking it out with Mizuki, since the matter won’t get solved if they kept running away from him. But Ririko worried that things might not get resolved even if the three of them had a talk together, and wanted to hide somewhere safe until their parents had returned, even thinking of the future where she will move elsewhere after letting their parents know about the matter. Itoh asked Ririko if this was the ending she had wanted, to keep avoiding and escaping from Mizuki, to the point they can’t even continue to be siblings. Even though Ririko replied that she doesn’t mind since it’s not like they’re behaving like siblings now anyway and that Mizuki just seems like someone who stayed in the same house as her since a few years ago, she too regretted that she had not been a good elder sister to Mizuki since three years ago. She wondered whether her actions of avoiding him was what had caused Mizuki’s emotions to go out of control... but then again, after what Mizuki had done to her, Ririko felt that it was hard for her to forgive him.

Itoh showed a sad expression after knowing that not only Mizuki had planted the kiss marks on her, he had even raped her. Ririko wondered why does he show such a pitiful face rather than getting angry for her seeing that his girlfriend suffered a sexual assault from others. Ririko started to get pissed off wondering whether Itoh had prioritised his friend more than his girlfriend (seeing that Itoh seems more focused on feeling disappointment in Mizuki rather than angry for her), to which he apologised for showing his emotions, revealing that he really likes Mizuki ever since they were in junior high, and had trusted him more than anybody. Ririko felt despair, since she had finally decided to reveal the truth to Itoh, but turned out that Itoh valued Mizuki alot too, so it seems like nobody was actually siding with her at all... (Feels bad for Ririko D: But Itoh might be in a bad position too if he had to choose between his girlfriend and his best friend.)

(Turned out that Itoh really admired Mizuki alot, praising that he’s talented in playing soccer, has good looks to be scouted by entertainment companies, yet was humble didn’t brag about him. Even Ririko had to diss that Mizuki was born in a normal family just like her and Itoh, so there’s nothing much for Mizuki to brag since it’s not like he’s a prince just because he’s good-looking... I feel that Mizuki can still be quite a bragger at various times though =w=“)

Ririko started to get worried and asked Itoh if he’s siding with her, but Itoh only replied that Ririko was indeed someone special to Mizuki, making her felt weird that everyone seems to be obsessed with Mizuki and siding with him instead. It worried her that perhaps her parents would side with Mizuki too seeing that he was the talented one between the siblings, and felt that there’s really no one in this world she could rely on at all. (Itoh, how can you make Ririko feel so helpless? You’re not comforting at all. If Minato was still willing to meet up with Ririko, maybe she can ask her for help instead...)

Itoh smiled as he assured her that he would protect her since he loves her and valued her as much as Mizuki does for her. Ririko still refused to meet up with Mizuki, claiming that he’s weird now and that there’s no telling what he’s going to do. Itoh assured her that he would stop him, and would accept whatever that had happened between her and Mizuki since as her boyfriend, he didn’t want to escape from such a situation. With that, Itoh accompanied Ririko back home.

Obviously, Mizuki wasn’t pleased when they reached home, asking Itoh why the latter did not contact him when he had found Ririko. (Mizuki’s over-protectiveness, or say... obsession was alarming here D:) Itoh told Mizuki that they had something to discuss with him, and made his way up to Ririko’s bedroom first. After Itoh had gone up, Mizuki asked Ririko whether she had already told Itoh what had happened, even taunting her that he might hurt Itoh if she still planned to have sex with Itoh in the future. Ririko could only think of Mizuki as a devil as she followed behind up into her room, where Itoh was already waiting for her.

Itoh told Ririko that he shall be the one leading the discussion later on and that she could just listen and add on anything that she wants to say. Mizuki claimed that it’s Itoh fault since if he had not touched Ririko, Mizuki himself would not have started laying his hands on Ririko. Itoh asked Mizuki why had he not continue on hiding his feelings since he initially had planned to do so, but Mizuki revealed that he could not bear hiding his feelings anymore, and he wanted to do what his body had desired for. Itoh told Mizuki that he understood his feelings but at this rate, Mizuki is just going to get rejected by Ririko. Getting heartbroken and then forcefully raping Ririko since he could not control his emotions is just going to make Mizuki end up being a criminal. (What Mizuki is doing is already a criminal act... D:)

Mizuki remarked that Itoh was indeed a great guy and that he really likes him since he had thought that Itoh would break up their friendship over this. Itoh replied that he would accept everything, including Ririko and would be by their side, and thus wished that Mizuki would let himself go from the suffering. He revealed that there’s a letter in the second bento he had gotten from their mother and that he had hurriedly read it this morning since he had forgotten to read it yesterday. Mizuki didn’t want to hear about the letter and refused to give Ririko up, even if Itoh had pledged that he would make Ririko happy. As much as Itoh kept trying to suggest Mizuki give up since both Ririko and Mizuki would be bound together forever as siblings, Mizuki refused to listen, even claiming that he loves Ririko more than anybody does for her. (It’s turning into a scenario where both guys are fighting over Ririko?!) Ririko started to feel that this conversation was going nowhere since Mizuki’s stance did not change at all. Noticing that Mizuki’s reluctance to talk about the letter, Ririko wondered perhaps the content of the letter was something they did not want her to know about.

Ririko asked about the letter, but the two guys ignored her, with Mizuki demanding Itoh to leave and the latter wanting to stay and help Ririko. Mizuki taunted Itoh how he was going to protect Ririko since Mizuki was confident that he would win if the two ended up fighting, to which Ririko had to shout loudly demanding to know about their mother’s letter to get their attention. Itoh replied that he should not be the person who should talk about this matter since this was what their family had decided to hide from her, but seeing that this matter was what that had troubled Mizuki, he decided that it’s best to let Ririko know about it. Mizuki was pissed but decided to leave the room to let the two have some privacy.

Other than the letter, Itoh had discovered something from the internet and thus decided to tell what he had known to Ririko. Itoh had known that Ririko and Mizuki did not communicate much even when they lived together and that Ririko seems to have built a wall of defence in her heart against Mizuki even though he did not know the reason why. Anyway, the letter stated that Ririko’s body had stopped growing and developing for 3 years in the past, and their mother, being worried, had brought her to the Gynecology for a checkup. Even though Ririko’s reproductive organs were normal, it was stated that it was unknown on whether she was able to get pregnant. Ririko remembered that she had started her first period later than others, in which her mother had accompanied her for the checkup. She had thought that everything was normal since her period came normally after that... but turned out that there’s an incident that happened in her childhood which affected her body...

In the past, Ririko was abducted by a woman for half a day when she was in elementary year one and had lost her memory on what had happened on that day. Her body had stopped growing from the time to she was abducted till three years later. After Ririko was abducted for 14 hours, she was found naked at a nearby park. The culprit was a woman who had lost her young son a year ago and had initially planned to abduct Mizuki instead. On the day when Ririko was found, the woman was later captured by the police. This incident sounds like a piece of sad news that Ririko was reading in a third-person point of view, and that she found it hard that she was the one who had went through this incident.

After that incident, the siblings who used to look alike to each other started looking different. Mizuki started growing tall rapidly, while Ririko’s height and weight remained unchanged for the next three years. Even though Ririko did not have any memory of what had happened on that fateful day, it seems like Mizuki had blamed himself and was hurt badly in his heart. Ririko was shocked that she did not know why she had stopped growing in that period, and what Mizuki was feeling troubled about, since the memories she had was them being siblings always having fun together in their elementary days. She had not suspected that her body growth was halted since even though she was short, it’s not like she’s a dwarf and there are even girls that are shorter than her. Even though it might be painful for Ririko to try remembering about this past, Itoh felt that perhaps the past would help to save Mizuki now...

Ririko closed her eyes as she tried to remember a woman in the part when she was in elementary year one. She realised that there was a dream she had recently that seems familiar to this... and opening her eyes, Itoh continued on that the incident he had talked about was what he had found on the internet. As it was a very old piece of news, there are not many articles can be found regarding it nowadays, and thus he shall reveal more about this incident from what that was written on the letter. The news he had found talked about the culprit being a 35-year-old woman, whose 6-year-old son had died last year. She had divorced her husband after that and lived in a 4LDK house with her dog at the time of the incident. This information sparked Ririko’s memory as she remembered what had happened at that time...

The woman had invited Ririko to her house on that fateful day and even told her that her mother and she knew each other since they usually chat when they met each other at the supermarket. She showed Ririko the photo of her son, saying that he’s older than her by a year and that unfortunately, he had passed away last year in a car accident. Ririko started to realise that something was amiss when the dog started barking, and the woman, who had felt annoyed by the dog, picked it up and threw it against the wall. The dog fell as it crashed against the wall, and did not move ever since. The woman turned to Ririko, smiling gently, and demanded Ririko to go into the bathroom, even though she had wanted to go home for dinner since it was already 8pm.

The woman stripped Ririko later on when she came into the bathroom and was surprised to know that she wasn’t a boy when she saw her underwear. It was then Ririko realised that the woman did not know who she was, since the woman did not call her by her name at all, and realised that the person that the woman had wanted to invite was her brother, Mizuki. The woman had mistaken her for Mizuki and had been treating her like him all along. Facing towards the scary woman, Ririko told her not to get close to Mizuki. She remembered she had talked to this woman before, and she was the one who had revealed Mizuki’s name at that time. (Probably some of the readers might have realised by now, the conversation at the start of this entire game was the forewarning of this segment OWO”) The woman snotted as she told Ririko that there’s no need for a family to have two children of the same age, so giving her one child will be fair enough (what is this logic? O.o) Ririko hated herself for giving out Mizuki’s name, and also for not noticing that the woman was tailing them. She started to get angry and told off the woman that her only brother was Mizuki and that he’s part of her family, not an unwanted child at all. (Ririko is such a strong child to stand against an adult like this OAO - impressed)

Ririko could see from the woman’s eyes that she was crazy, and felt that it won’t be good if the woman could continue to live on this street (since there’s no knowing when she would abduct another child again, or even laying her hands on Mizuki this time). She knew that even if she had called the police at this moment, the woman won’t get captured for long since she had not done any criminal acts at this time. Ririko decided to confront the woman, even more, stating that Satoshi (the woman’s child) was already dead and that her brother, Mizuki, was way cuter and good-looking than him. The woman screamed at her to leave since she didn’t want a girl as a daughter. She only wanted a son, a boy who was in elementary year one. She grabbed Ririko by the neck and dumped her outside the house, as Ririko felt that her conscious started to blur. It was already dark outside, but Ririko knew that if she was found at this time of the day (it was still around 8pm, so not too late to be worrying about?), this incident would be wrapped easily, and Mizuki might be in danger the next day onwards. The culprit of the incident did not do anything bad to her since she only just dumped Ririko outside her house when she realised she isn’t Mizuki, and thus Ririko felt that Mizuki shouldn’t blame himself so much. However, Ririko also knew that her words were like lies now, since Ririko realised there’s still some missing parts of her memory which indicated she was still hiding something.

In the end, Itoh encouraged Ririko to talk this matter over with Mizuki and that he’s returning home for the day. Ririko was still worried that Mizuki might rape her again when Itoh is gone, but the latter asked her to believe in Mizuki, which made her felt weird why Itoh was so forgiving and why did he like Mizuki so much to the point that he was willing to forgive him. Itoh replied that he did not forgive Mizuki, but he likes Mizuki and since he was Ririko’s family member, after all, there was no way Itoh could cut ties with Mizuki as long as he still loves Ririko. He knew that the situation between them won’t get resolved easily, but he put the hope that if Mizuki and Ririko put down their guard on each other and talk it out, their relationship might improve for the better. Itoh also worried that Mizuki might commit suicide, asking Ririko whether this was what she had wanted to see, to abandon the very person she had tried so hard to protect when she was young. He promised Ririko that he will protect Ririko no matter what, even if she forgives Mizuki, or ended up abandoning him, vowing to accept her everything. (Ugh... Can’t help but feel guilty when Itoh said everything out like this TWT)

When Itoh had left, Ririko called Mizuki, as the latter had gone out after their last confrontation. Mizuki told her that he’s not returning and that she should not bother where he was, even suggesting that perhaps he should find a random woman and let her take care of him for a while. Mizuki sounded depressed, stating he doesn’t need anything now that Ririko does not belong to him anymore... Ririko started to get pissed off since if Mizuki doesn’t come home, everything was going to end up being her fault again, and she doesn’t like the fact that Mizuki was like the victim in this situation. She wondered what was Mizuki troubling about at that time, but since she was the one who was abducted, she guessed that he might be blaming himself for what had happened to her later on. (Her slow growth sput, her lack of memories etc.) In a spurt of anger, Ririko yelled to the phone that if Mizuki indeed did not want to return home anymore, he should hang up the phone on her and not pick up any phone calls from their family anymore. (It doesn’t help that she even overheard a woman talking to Mizuki, guess Mizuki wasn’t lying that he staying with a woman now... =w=“) She continued on that if Mizuki wanted to cut ties with her, he should throw away this phone, throw away his past and ask that new woman he had now to buy a new phone for him to start his new life instead. She told Mizuki that she would not abandon him, but now it’s up to him to make a decision whether he wanted to abandon his family, his current life. If he still wants his family and life back, she demanded him to return home right away. (Suddenly Ririko had the vibe of elder sister!!! OWO)

After the phone call, Ririko realised that the feelings that she had for her brother since young, how she likes to care over him, had never really gone away, and felt sad why their relationship had fallen apart all these years. She guessed that Mizuki must have blamed himself for causing Ririko’s slow growth spurt, seeing that her first period started late and she ended up being short with a height of 150cm and that their mother worried whether Ririko would be able to get pregnant. Feeling pissed off that the entire family had hidden their worries about her from her, Ririko angrily punched her pillow, realising that she really likes and values her younger brother so much that she did not want to land him in danger at that time. Thanks to her remembering her past, she suddenly realised the importance of Mizuki in her life. (Should we thank Itoh for this? ^^;)

Ririko ended up falling asleep, and when she awoke, she saw Mizuki staying by her bedside. She wondered they can return to being close siblings like how it was in the past, as Mizuki asked her if she had felt scared remembering the past, seeing that she was pulled, trapped in, tortured, and then abandoned at that time. (It doesn’t sound that scary in Ririko’s memory though, not that I’m downplaying it) He remarked that Ririko was such a young child at that time, barely even 1m tall, and she was facing off against an adult. He had guessed that the incident had caused a trauma for Ririko that affected her physically and mentally, though he and their parents were actually relieved that she did not remember anything on that fateful day. (I bet they were scared that she might harbour really bad memories and suffer a break down from that.)

Ririko told Mizuki that she was not harmed at all on that day, but Mizuki shook his head painfully, telling her that this had nothing to do whether she was hurt or not. He told her that he had felt as if half of his body was gone the night she had gone missing and that the rest of the family was worried sick for her. That night, Mizuki was forced to sleep alone by himself when they used to sleep together every night. Their father had gone out to search for her, while their mother had stayed in the living room all night waiting for news. All Mizuki could do was to stop himself from trembling and crying silently in bed. (Awww~~~ TWT)

Finally, the news arrived the next morning that Ririko was found. The family had gone to the hospital and was surprised to learn that she was naked when she was found. Ririko went through multiple check-ups and counselling. where they found out that she only had some slight injuries on her body, and that she had forgotten what had happened on that day. Initially, the family was told that it’s best that Ririko had forgotten about what had happened, but they started to get worried when she wasn’t growing. Even though the woman was finally caught in the end, Mizuki still blamed himself, since Ririko was forced to stay petite because of that while Mizuki grew taller and taller. As Mizuki worried about Ririko all these years during their elementary school days, he realised that he had fallen in love with her romantically, not as a sister anymore.

Ririko tried to assure Mizuki again that she wasn’t harmed at all by the woman, since the woman only dragged her outside of her house and abandoned her there, stating that now that she had remembered the past, it wasn’t an incident that’s of much of a big deal. However, Mizuki told her that the night that she went missing was a night that he will never forget since he feared that she might not return. He now feared too, that she would be snatched away by Itoh.

Ririko wondered how she could comfort Mizuki. She had wanted to protect Mizuki at that time and thus decided to hide rather than returning home herself until the next morning when she was found. (I guess little Ririko wanted to make this incident a more serious incident so that the woman would be captured and thus Mizuki would remain safe.) She did not know that her actions had ended up hurting Mizuki, the very person she had wanted to protect. Ririko had learned from Itoh earlier on that the news stated that the woman had committed suicide later on after she had captured, which made her wonder whether her actions had instead caused unhappiness and worry for Mizuki, her parents, and even the woman as well. However, regardless of what had happened, Ririko did not regret what she had done. The woman had told her that she wanted her to be exchanged for Mizuki, and thus Mizuki would definitely be targeted the next day. Ririko admitted what she had done when she was young, she wanted to increase the seriousness of the woman’s crimes (Ririko can be quite a scary kid), telling Mizuki that she might be in the wrong for doing that and whether that was considered a crime too. Mizuki assured her that what she did wasn’t a crime, but he wished that she had not done that. He was worried sick when he heard that she was naked for hours outdoors, as she might be attacked by yet another weird adult, stray dogs, or ended up getting a very bad cold, so she was landing herself in more danger by doing that. The family would have cried very badly if they had known what she had done at that time, and thought that Ririko was too silly to go ahead and do that.

Hearing what Ririko had done in the past, Mizuki can’t help but feel that Ririko was strong to fight back even when she was being abducted, unlike him, who could only remain to be her younger brother. Ririko smiled as she told Mizuki that perhaps it was fate that he was meant to be a spoiled child since Ririko was too used to take over the elder role of the sibling anyway. Mizuki confessed again that he really likes Ririko, and this feeling of his probably had nothing to do with the incident. Even if Ririko hates him, he still wants to be bound to her no matter what. As Mizuki started to cry, Ririko realised this may be the first time in years that she had seen the crying face of her younger brother. Even though Mizuki had acted to cool and solemn most of the time, he was still the spoiled younger brother before her in the end. Mizuki continued on that he would wish to return back to their relationship in the past, where they were close siblings who could laugh and talk together, though he wondered that was still possible seeing what terrible things he had done to her. Ririko decided that she can only choose to forgive Mizuki for what he had done since she too had longed for that relationship she had with Mizuki in the past.

As Mizuki continued to cry, Ririko petted him on the head, thinking that he’s just like a big dog. After so much had happened, they finally realised their feelings and managed to return to their relationship of being siblings. It seems like all those hatred and fear had dissolved away, and now she could love her younger brother with all her might again...

(So in a way, it’s a happy ending where Ririko and Mizuki were close siblings again, and Itoh and her were still dating? But... let’s read on...)

Years passed, Mizuki, Ririko and Itoh were now adults and were drinking openly in their living room. It was Mizuki’s birthday, and though Ririko would soon be growing a year older than Mizuki after a few weeks, this was a short time where the two would be at the same age. The trio had gone to study in universities in Tokyo after they had graduated from high school, and while Itoh and Ririko had chosen to stay together in an apartment, Mizuki had chosen to stay in the school dormitories, busy juggling his life with schoolwork and club activities.

She looked up at Itoh and noticed that he was looking at the area where Mizuki and she were connected together intensely. As Mizuki continued having sex with her, Ririko wondered are they were all driven to do this just because they were drunk. Having sex with her brother in front of her boyfriend, it suddenly becomes something that’s not of a big deal once one is being pushed by their desire and becoming a monster. As Mizuki and Itoh continued to take turns having sex with her, Ririko wondered why do they even bother going through so many struggles and troubles in the past...

When the sex is over, Ririko went to the kitchen to get a drink to wake herself up. Itoh soon joined her after getting a smoke on the balcony (Woah... didn’t know Itoh would smoke OWO), saying that he’s here to get a drink too. Itoh remarked that it seems like Mizuki still likes Ririko romantically regardless of what had happened in the past, to which Ririko asked him what had happened just now. Itoh tried to play it off as all of them being drunk and end up doing the inevitable, and that all evidence of what had happened had been erased, except for Mizuki’s feelings towards Ririko. However, Ririko replied him that she knew that not everything will be erased (probably meaning her memory regarding this incident), and told him off that she had never expected him to be such a person to allow such a thing to happen since she had claimed that she did not wish for a sexual situation to happen between her brother and her.

Itoh asked Ririko whether she had hated him now, to which she replied that there’s no way she will hate him, since other than Mizuki, he’s the closest person to her heart other than her family. Itoh had helped them to patch up their relationships as siblings after knowing their past and was an important person in both Mizuki and her life. Even though Itoh smiled gently at her, Ririko suddenly felt a whim of distrust in her heart about him and told Itoh that they’re not going to do anything like that (the sexual situation) ever again. But what she got was a disappointing answer, Itoh would make such a situation happen again if Mizuki hopes for it. Ririko asked to know the reason, and he answered that this was the way to do to bring happiness to both of them. Ririko did not understand what is going on, and Itoh explained that his family was going to launch a food business in Tokyo, and he would be working on this business this coming year. Their first shop was actually the cafe Ririko was already working at, so Itoh will soon join her in working later on.

Turned out that Itoh had wanted to stay by Mizuki’s side ever since their junior high days. Even though in the past they could always be together since they’re in the same soccer club, Itoh knew that that won’t do once they become adults. (So... in a way Itoh had already planned for the future with him, Ririko and Mizuki forever together... since he knew that Mizuki won’t leave Ririko’s side, Itoh being with Ririko would mean that Mizuki would still stay around and thus Itoh can be by Mizuki’s side... OWO”)

Even though Itoh’s words sounds like betrayal in Ririko’s mind, she doesn’t feel betrayed at all. Itoh had been truthful all this time since he had stated he likes Mizuki from the beginning, but this just all means... Itoh continued that after he knew that Mizuki had a sister, he ended up liking Ririko the same as much as he likes Mizuki, and since they all know Mizuki’s feelings towards her, Itoh felt that he wanted to bring happiness to all of them. Even though Mizuki may not know Itoh’s feelings about him, Itoh was satisfied in just being a friend to Mizuki, though he vowed to make Mizuki’s wishes come through. He stopped Mizuki in the past since he didn’t want Mizuki to end up destroying his own future, knowing that the world would never approve of a relationship between the siblings.

As for the reason why Itoh wanted to work hard in a business? He knew that Mizuki can’t be a soccer athletic forever since the time will come where he would need to retire. Itoh wished to build up his business and help Mizuki as much as he can financially when that happens and had planned out the future even though they were all university students currently. He asked for Ririko’s hand in marriage and vowed that he would definitely bring happiness to Ririko and Mizuki. Ririko asked Itoh whether he had planned all this just to have Mizuki in his hands finally, but Itoh simply replied that he had never planned for Mizuki to belong to him, only to want to grant his wishes. The person he wanted to belong to him was Ririko, telling her that he would take responsibility forever. (How did this scenario end up creepy yet abit romantic at the same time...?)

Ririko asked Itoh why had he suddenly decided to reveal everything he had planned to her now, to which Itoh replied that he had already belonged to Ririko since a long time ago and that he would always be by her side even if Mizuki left by his own accord in the future, until the day they die. But Ririko also realised that as long as Mizuki wished for it, she may not belongs to Itoh only, to which he only smiled silently in reply. (In other words, there would be times that Itoh would “lend” Ririko to Mizuki to release his feelings for Ririko if the latter wished to... =w=“) Ririko realised that Itoh had always look at them with the same gaze he had over the years. She knew that she likes Itoh, and will only like him in the future, but the person who she only has eyes for had decided to give her away even though he claimed that he only belongs to her... That revelation alone was enough to bring despair to Ririko after she had learned about Itoh’s heart.

Suddenly, Itoh stepped towards her, making her move back a step in fear. He asked her whether she had known about her ovulation dates. Ririko’s mother was worried about Ririko’s ability to get pregnant, and thus in her letter to Itoh, she wrote that she didn’t want them to get an abortion in case Ririko wasn’t able to get pregnant again the future. She cautioned them to be careful when having sex, though if Ririko indeed gets pregnant, their mother will want Itoh to take responsibility. Itoh did not cummed in Ririko when they have sex together, and thus Ririko did not get pregnant throughout her teenage years. But Itoh had spun that into his plan for the future now, hoping that Ririko would get pregnant with Mizuki in the future by allowing him to cum in her. As Ririko started to shed tears upon knowing about Itoh’s ultimate plan, he comforted her that no one will realise that the child belongs to Mizuki, since they would just think that the child looks more like the mother as Mizuki and Ririko look alike to each other anyway.

This was then Ririko realised that this was how much Itoh likes Mizuki, that he was willing to use Ririko to bear the latter’s child. Itoh hugged Ririko silently. Though his hands were cold, Ririko could feel that his chest was warm. Even though she was being hugged gently, it did not help in stopping her tears...

(Short Rant: This twisted BL ending just makes me feel that I ended up eating shit when I thought I was about to have some sweet desserts. Ugh!!!)

Omake - Ending 4 (Itoh’s Ending)

This is considered one of the true endings, since it revealed the idea why Mizuki was “sick” (or say sort of reveal the idea why he was so obsessed with Ririko), thanks to the help of Itoh and Ririko’s mother’s letter. Even though initially things seem great that Mizuki and Ririko went back to being close siblings, and the two guys maintained their friendships, the twisted ending right at the end twisted that perfect image.

Mizuki felt that he might end up getting Ririko involved with Itoh and that it seems like she’s just being “bred” by him in the end. He welcomes the proposal suggested by Itoh since he knew that by following Itoh, he will get his share of happiness too. But knowing himself, Mizuki guessed he won’t be able to restrain himself once his feelings for Ririko had awakened. There would be one day that Mizuki will find Itoh’s presence to be an obstruction between him and Ririko, and thus... Itoh will be gone one day. (Mizuki, you’re just going to remove Itoh’s presence somehow right?!)

Seeing that Itoh was even willing to rear the future child of Ririko and Mizuki, Mizuki knew that Itoh will definitely treat the child as one of his own and that their parents will be elated as well. (Just want to rant that in the end, nobody really cares whether Ririko is happy or not TWT)

Ibara Hime - Playthrough (Part I)

Warning: Spoilers. R18 Story.

Been wanting to write about this game ever since I’ve played it in December last year! Ibara Hime is a game I’ve been wanting to try since forever, so I’m glad to say I’m blown away by this small little doujin game. Frankly speaking, I thought it was very well-written, and playing it felt like a roller-coaster ride.

Please note that this game contains sexual scene (I didn’t put any NSFW images though), incest, a depiction of blood, and crazy/twisted characters. If you think you can handle all these, please continue~

The story started off from a memory where the siblings were young, and the neighbours had mistaken them as a pair of twins. The heroine, Ririko corrected them that she’s the elder sister, and Mizuki is her younger brother by 11 months. Even though they were born months between them, they’re still in the same school year and thus pretty much in the same age group.

Even though both of them were really close to each other when they were small, something happened when they were in junior high, and after that, Ririko was always avoiding Mizuki whenever they’re in the same house. Also, Ririko has a pessimistic look on herself, with Mizuki growing up with good looks, tall (184cm OWO), and popular with girls, while she sees herself as short and fat (doesn’t seem so from the CGs though =w=“), and struggled to even converse with guys ever since then. She still wishes to be in a good relationship with her brother someday though...

Recently, Ririko finally gets a boyfriend for the first time in her life. Her mum had known about it and even offered to make a bento for him if Ririko could help to bring her brother’s bento to him at school since Mizuki had forgotten his when rushing out of the house this morning. Ririko reluctantly agreed since the idea of carrying three bento was heavy for her. (Note: Mizuki usually leaves the house quite early for soccer practice, and Ririko would wait until he had left before making an appearance at the kitchen, as a way of avoiding the morning with him.)

Ririko went off to school and met her friend, Minato in class. Minato had a crush on Mizuki and wanted to ask him out on a double date with Ririko and her boyfriend since Mizuki had recently broken up with a beautiful senpai awhile ago. She worried about her friend being in a relationship with Mizuki since it might be difficult for them to remain as friends if she breaks up with Mizuki later on.

Seeing that her brother was popular among girls, he dated quite a few of them and had even brought one of them home in the past. Ririko knew that since... she had unexpectedly chanced upon their bed scene a few years ago. It turned out to be a trauma for her, as Mizuki and she would even sleep and bathe together just a few months before, and from then, she started to avoid Mizuki. In Ririko’s mind, she sees Mizuki as someone who had grown up into a man much faster than her, and felt abandoned, and also from then, she found herself tense and nervous whenever she sees him. Mizuki could sense that she was avoiding him, and thus decided to silently distant away from her. That was how it had been for the past few years, though Ririko knew that they can’t be like this forever...

Ririko’s trauma was serious to the point that, other than not knowing how she should face Mizuki, she also struggled to get along with guys, since she doesn’t really like them. But one guy stood out among the other guys recently - Itoh Takayuki. (I shall refer to him as Itoh) He was Mizuki’s classmate ever since they were in junior high, and had confessed to Ririko. Itoh was a serious guy with good looks, but never plays around other girls nor goes on “goukon”, so pretty much a really good guy in Ririko’s eyes that she even felt that it would be a waste for him to pair up with her. It has been a week since the two has started dating, with Ririko still not used to the idea of having a boyfriend since she’s not even good at talking with guys in the first place D:

As it was lunchtime, Ririko decided to go to Mizuki’s and Itoh’s class to pass them their bentos, and to borrow a textbook from Itoh as well. Minato decided to take this chance to tag along, even asking to eat their bentos over there too. Itoh immediately came over when he saw Ririko peeking into their classroom, and after knowing that she had brought bentos for him and Mizuki, asked Mizuki to join them together for lunch too.

(Finally, the main characters for this game have all gathered. Blonde guy - Itoh / Brown hair guy - Mizuki)

It was a nostalgic experience for Ririko to eat and have a conversation with Mizuki, since even though they do eat dinner as a family together, Ririko does not talk to Mizuki at all actually. Even Mizuki remarked that he felt weird eating bentos with Ririko in the classroom =w=“ (Damn, this pair of siblings really do not get together that well now...) However, with Itoh and Minato chiming into the conversation, the atmosphere felt much better overall for the group, and even agreed to go for a karaoke at the end of the day together.

Apparently, some guys walked past them in class and remarked that Ririko was cute as they noticed that she’s Mizuki’s sister. Mizuki coolly told them that she’s already “taken”. (In a way Mizuki can still be protective over her) But turned out the guys were mistaken, and thought that Minato was Ririko, and that made Ririko felt more uncomfortable about her looks, knowing that she looks that different from Mizuki. (How can you mistake them from their looks? =w=“) Mizuki angrily chased them off, since the group could see that Ririko was very uncomfortable about those guys.

When lunch was over, Minato was raving all about Mizuki as they made their way back to their classroom. (She really has a huge crush on him, even remarking that Ririko must be too used to Mizuki’s face by now) Ririko realised that she has forgotten to get the textbook from Itoh, and hurriedly went back.

However, she stopped when she reached the door of the classroom, hearing loud laughter from the guys as they were in a discussion... about her. Mizuki complained how troublesome it was to have his friend and sister dating together, and felt that the lunch break together was dull, though Itoh still enjoyed it. (Gah, what a contrast when I thought they were getting along well together just now!) It was then revealed that Itoh confessing to Ririko was part of a punishment game, and the other guys were initially interested to know how cute Ririko was, but after seeing her today, they felt disappointed and honestly thought that Itoh was unlucky to get the punishment for their game. (Damn, these guys are cruel!)

The realisation of this almost made Ririko blacked out. Even though Itoh told the other guys that Ririko is cute and it would be too pitiful for her to find out, all of these fell on deaf ears since Ririko could only think of how her relationship with Itoh was actually all a lie. The rest of her school day went by in a blur later on, and she decided to go home after school, giving an excuse that she’s not feeling well to opt-out from the karaoke session they had decided on going earlier on. (I don’t think anyone would be in the mood to go if they were in her shoes ><”)

Ririko had wanted to stay alone at her home to calm down when she heard the doorbell rang. Usually, Mizuki will just enter the house without ringing the doorbell, but now that it’s raining, Ririko wondered whether he was wet from the rain, and since their parents aren’t home, she had no choice but to head down and open the door.

Turned out it was Itoh at the door. He remarked that Minato and Mizuki were still singing karaoke, whereas he, on the other hand, wanted to have some couple time with Ririko by themselves. (All his words now sound like a lie after knowing the truth, ugh D:) Ririko was still pissed, and was thus cold to Itoh, telling him to make his way up to Mizuki’s room while she makes some coffee. Itoh, however, revealed that he wanted to go to her room instead. Ririko explained that she’s not feeling well, but Itoh could see that it’s a lie and she seems pissed at him, wanting to know what is it about.

(Feels abit bad for Itoh but ughhhh I don’t really think he’s a good guy)

Ririko reluctantly told him the way to her bedroom and brought coffee up to it. Itoh mentioned that he has a younger sister and thus was always interested to know what an elder sister is like until he realised that Mizuki’s elder sister, Ririko was actually the same age as them. Ririko went on to have a conversation with him, though deep down she thought about the matter of Itoh’s confession. It’s not like she really likes Itoh romantically actually, and was also making use of him to get rid of her fear and dislike of guys when she accepted his confession. (Wow, she’s honest~ But sounds like this relationship has no love TWT) But now, after a week of spending time together, Ririko realised that her days were heart beating of excitement and happiness of having a boyfriend for the first time, and that made her felt even more depressed after learning about the truth. She sighed and told Itoh that she wanted to break up with him, telling him that though she agreed to be his girlfriend initially, she doesn’t like him romantically.

Itoh’s face turned serious and answered that he knew that (sir just takes in the truth so peacefully), but he believed that they can get along well in a relationship and this was what he had proposed initially when he confessed to her. Ririko revealed what she overheard at lunch, and told Itoh that he doesn’t have to take pity on her and forcefully date her and that she’s not hurt nor bothered at all. It seems like her words hurt Itoh as the latter was sad to know that she doesn’t care about his feelings for her, and told Ririko that his feelings for her were not fake, and in fact he was just playing along with the other guys and acting in the conversation earlier on, apologising if his act from then had hurt her. He confessed to Ririko again that he really likes her, not because she was his friend’s sister, and he doesn’t like other girls either.

Ririko pondered whether she should believe Itoh’s words since she also knew that there’s no merit in him dating her just because of a punishment game as Ririko doesn’t like him either. In the end, she decided that they shall continue with their relationship for now, until the point that she was more used to be around guys. She also revealed that she feared that she might end up liking Itoh for real if they had continued to date (probably one of the reasons why she wanted to stop the relationship I guess?), to which Itoh assured her that he will always like Ririko.

(What happens, later on, is some lovey-dovey time between the two~ Though Ririko keeps telling herself that she doesn’t like Itoh, I feel that she does, maybe just a bit~? You won’t want to kiss someone you don’t like at all, I guess?)

Ririko thought back to the time when Itoh had confessed to her. He had stopped her when she was about to head home on that day, introducing himself as Mizuki’s friend and asking if she had remembered him since he came to their home from time to time. (She only knew him as Mizuki’s best friend from junior high at that time.) Itoh was interested to know if Ririko has anyone she’s fond of, which somehow pissed her off as she rebutted why did he want to know this, and Itoh sensed that she seems to dislike him. Ririko replied that she doesn’t dislike him, but found him very suspicious. (Ririko is so straightforward that I’m finding her cute XD) Itoh answered back that he has no motive for wanting to know that, other than his own desire that they won’t be able to date each other if Ririko has someone else she’s fond of. And with that came Itoh’s confession, as he told her that he has always been looking at Ririko though the latter never noticed him, and felt that things won’t look up for him if he didn’t confess to her. In the end, he proposed that they can try dating, and if Ririko had disliked him, they can then break up. This was how Ririko had accepted his confession in the end. She thought of how sincere Itoh’s confession was back then, and thus felt that Itoh’s feelings for her must be real...

Back to the present, Ririko asked Itoh whether he likes her to the point that he wanted to have sex with her, he sees this as an invitation and what goes on is some foreplay of Itoh licking and grabbing Ririko’s breasts, and later on fingering her. But the two didn’t manage to proceed any further... since Mizuki had come back and were even standing by Ririko’s opened bedroom door watching them.

(This may be a side info, but Itoh was surprised to know that Ririko did not wear any bra under her clothes at home, and cautioned her that it’s bad since Mizuki lives under the same roof as her. I wonder if this is considered a forewarning =w=“)

Mizuki remarked that he’s surprised to see that Itoh was serious in a relationship with his sister, to which Itoh rebutted that Mizuki was rude that he did not knock and even interrupted their moment. Mizuki smirked as he warned Itoh not to play around with Ririko since she might end up falling in love with him for real, but Itoh affirmed that he really likes Ririko romantically. Mizuki made fun of them and then headed off into his own room. (What is it with this guy?!! OAO”)

Due to Mizuki’s interruption, Itoh and Ririko didn’t feel any lust to continue their attempt at sex anymore. Taking this chance, Ririko told Itoh that she had accidentally opened the door to Mizuki’s room three years ago and found him in the middle of having sex with another girl, and with that, they started talking about their sex experience. (Okay, apparently Itoh isn’t exactly a virgin either. His first partner was a year ago, and... obviously, Ririko is still a virgin, which Itoh was elated about, and told her that she would only have sex with him forever now - sounds like a forewarning in this game ^^; Ririko sounds sad knowing that she probably won’t be able to have sex with any other guys other than Itoh since nobody probably will ever sexually like her.)

Minato called later on and turned out Mizuki didn’t go for the karaoke, (rushing back to stop Itoh?!!) but she was elated to be invited for a pool date with him. She asked Ririko to accompany her to Mizuki’s classroom tomorrow at lunch again, as she had decided to make a bento for Mizuki (and Mizuki’s bento can be passed to Itoh instead XD) Hearing Minato so happy just made Ririko worry, as she would hate to see her friends in tears later on (knowing Mizuki had broken how many hearts of girls in the past)... In the end, the two girls decided that they would have lunch separately with the guy they’re fond of for lunch.

Since there’s no soccer practice for Mizuki and Itoh in the weekend, Ririko wondered perhaps this would be a good chance for Itoh and her to have their very first date~

During lunch, Ririko brought the bentos up for Itoh and asked him if he was free during the weekend. Hearing that Mizuki and Minato are going to the pool this weekend, Itoh proposed that they do the same too, but apparently, Ririko has a complex with her body and isn’t willing to. The two ultimately decided to go on a shopping trip and watch a movie instead.

(The happy daily life segment will end here... what happens, later on, will be considered the main theme of this story~?)

When Ririko reached home, she found that her father had come home earlier than expected, and her mother and he were in a hurry packing up things. Her mum explained to her that their relative at another state had passed away this morning, and thus they need to rush over there to settle some matters. They won’t be at home for the rest of the week until the weekend is over since there’s quite alot of matters and ceremonies to get through. Even though Ririko wanted to go along with them, her parents asked her to stay and take care of Mizuki’s meals.

After her parents were gone, Ririko took a peek at the fridge to see what’s available and decided to make Mizuki’s favourite curry for dinner. But after she had finished making dinner and waited until 8pm, Mizuki was still not home. (Ririko usually had her dinner at 6.30pm, but seeing that she had made the dinner herself this time, she wanted to try eating together with Mizuki... What a pity...) Seeing that she had a television programme she wanted to watch at 9pm, Ririko decided to take a shower first before dinner.

When she was done with her shower, she heard the front door opened and knew that Mizuki was home. She rushed out to the common bathroom to get changed, only to meet Mizuki there unexpectedly. Embarrassed, Ririko hid behind the bathroom door and asked Mizuki to pass her a towel so she can wrap herself up. (And... Mizuki passed a face towel.. what the....?! =w=“)

After wrapping herself up properly with a towel, she chased after Mizuki, who had stepped out from the bathroom, asking him why had he returned home so late and whether he wants to have dinner. Mizuki showed a reluctant face and explained that he had his dinner outside since he got a message from their parents that they’re not at home. Ririko wasn’t pleased to hear that and complained that she had made this curry knowing that Mizuki was a fan of it, and was thus disappointed to know that he had eaten his dinner elsewhere. The two later got into a conflict, and Ririko lost her balance and fell in midst of that.

But before she went crashing onto the floor, Mizuki caught her. Unfortunately, the towel that was wrapping around her fell off, and she could see that Mizuki’s gaze was on her bare breasts before him. She wanted to leap off from Mizuki’s arms to pick up her towel, but Mizuki scooped her up in a princess hug before she knew it, and suddenly complimented that her body was beautiful OWO

Mizuki’s words sent Ririko into confusion. She’s afraid of looking at his face and wondered why he had said that since in her mind she had seen herself as ugly and chubby, and Mizuki must have seen the naked bodies of much more beautiful girls than her. Mizuki asked her whether she had done all this (erm... making dinner and running out of the bathroom with just a towel, and falling to strip herself =w=“) to seduce him and even went on to ask whether she’s still a virgin, offering to teach her about sex so that she could perform better when she has sex for real with Itoh. (It was at this moment that both Ririko and I felt that Mizuki is definitely getting weird in his head...) He revealed that Itoh actually had sex with two girls before he’s with Ririko (Itoh said he only did it with one girl before so who’s speaking the truth?), and seeing that Ririko is still a virgin, he wanted to take her first time away before Itoh does. (Wow... That just sounds like NTR thoughts right there, Mizuki seems like a villain now ><”)

Ignoring screams from Ririko to let her go, Mizuki carried her off into his bedroom...

Mizuki climbed on top of Ririko after putting her down on his bed (I like how Ririko’s thoughts / diss that she can’t get him off seeing that he’s 70kg even though he’s slim, well... Mizuki is very tall after all). Mizuki smiled as he revealed that he was always frustrated with Ririko, tying up her hands with her bath towel (yikes, we are stepping into some SM play here) He could sense that Ririko had been avoiding him since three years ago like he was some dirty thing that she didn’t want to get close with. He wondered whether Ririko had viewed him as “dirty” since he had slept with a girl before, and thus felt that perhaps Ririko should remain as a virgin forever. Though what Mizuki had said was considered childish to Ririko, she knew that her avoiding Mizuki just because he had sex was also childish of herself, and apologised to him, explaining that she was just afraid of him after learning that he’s a man too at that time.

However, even after she had apologised, Mizuki showed no sign of letting her go. He smiled at her and gently said that he’s not going to forgive her so easily seeing that he was being abandoned for 3 years. (I remember getting all tensed up during this part, Mizuki is scary D:) Ririko wondered whether Mizuki had hated her very much after being hurt by her all these years. She struggled to get him off her, but with her hands tied up, it’s impossible, while Mizuki grabbed onto her thighs and started caressing them. Mizuki even took out his phone and took photos of Ririko’s naked body after that, making Ririko all angry and embarrassed. He sneakily asked Ririko whether he should send the photo to Itoh (the blackmail part =w=“), which she could only shed tears in embarrassment. Who could expect that her brother was doing all this to her in real life, just like what had happened in erotic manga or novels?

Mizuki, putting his phone away, spread open Ririko’s legs and began licking at her private area. Ririko stopped him, rebutting that she would rather bite her tongue and die than to have sex with him, but Mizuki was unfazed at all, even ensuring her that as long as they used a condom, it’s alright for siblings to have sex with each other. (Guy, what the hell are you talking about?!! D:)

Initially, Ririko had thought that Mizuki was just toying and playing around with her to punish her, but she began to get scared when she realised that he wasn’t joking on penetrating her with his penis. She shouted that she doesn’t want to do it with Mizuki, but instead only with Itoh, wishing that her brother will wake up to the idea that they’re siblings and Ririko actually had a boyfriend. She was shocked when she felt a sharp pain on her right cheek, Mizuki had slapped her. (Damn, Mizuki you are the worst! D: He actually hit her pretty hard to the point she felt as if her head was going to fly off ><”)

Ririko stared hard at Mizuki, who was looking right back at her with a cold gaze. She remembered that they used to quarrel and fight when they were small, but Mizuki had never fight back at her. He coolly replied that he had not hit her at full force since he was using his left hand. (Ughhhh I’m fuming just reading this part again D:) Ririko could feel herself shivering in fear as even though she could see a glimpse of sadness in Mizuki’s cold expression, he told her to die, even taunting her to bite her tongue right now to die.

After staring at her up close for a moment, Mizuki suddenly unties her and... kicked her out of the room. (She was still naked so you can think how cold it was outside, at least return her her towel Mizuki D:) Ririko was shocked that things had ended suddenly, though she worried on how she’s going to face Mizuki from now on... (A real pity since she was just starting to think of getting on better terms with him from before.)

(You thought things will be over that easily? It’s just starting...)

The next morning, Ririko felt pain when she awoke, and remembered what had happened yesterday. Mizuki had hit her, and this was nothing like the Mizuki she had remembered when they were young. She still wanted to apologise to Mizuki once again for avoiding him in the past and rushed down to catch him before he left for school. (But still failed, guess Mizuki is sort of avoiding her now)

She heads off to school, only to have to listen to Minato complaining about how Mizuki had not been replying to her messages. (That last thing Ririko would want to hear about is Mizuki at this moment =w=“) Though Ririko felt Minato was being annoying, she invited her to her house to have a sleepover. (I guess Ririko won’t want to stay alone with Mizuki at night in the house, I won’t either D:) Minato suggested that all four of them (the girls, Mizuki and Itoh) have lunch together since she knew that Ririko didn’t bring any bento and she had made enough sandwiches for everyone anyway, and while Ririko agreed, she left the task of inviting the guys to her while she went off to the infirmary.

Along the way, she wondered perhaps Mizuki’s mind had gone off onto a weird path after being abandoned and hurt by her, and if that was so, she kind of blamed it on herself. Just at this point, she met Itoh and Mizuki who was on their way up the stairs as she was heading down, but just as she was about to call out to Mizuki, someone knocked into her, causing her to lose her balance and fall down the stairs...

Ririko felt someone catching her as she lost her consciousness. (At this point of the game, you can choose to guess if it’s Mizuki or Itoh, which... will affect the ending.) When she awoke, she found herself lying in the infirmary, with Itoh looking worriedly over her. Turned out that Ririko had a fever at 39 degrees, and thus Mizuki would bring her home later on after lunch, with Minato coming over after school to take care of her (since Mizuki still had club practices to attend to after school).

(Itoh had wanted to fulfil his duties as a boyfriend, but failed to even get a chance to send her home or accompany her to classes since apparently only family members and classmates are allowed to do so. That’s kind of a weird rule to set in school... or is that normal...? Feels kind of bad for Itoh though I’m still not a fan of this guy D:)

It was revealed that Mizuki was the one who had caught Rirko while she fell from the staircase earlier on (so Mizuki still has a heart for his sister after all?). Mizuki made an appearance and sarcastically said that he’s afraid that Itoh’s arms would break if he was the one who caught Ririko instead. (Are you dissing Itoh is weak or Ririko is fat? Or maybe both? =w=“) Ririko noticed that Mizuki did not even look at her at all, and truthfully speaking, she did not want to stay at home with Mizuki alone currently. The two guys sort of fussed over getting Ririko to get up and head home, the teacher at the infirmary teased her that she’s lucky to be treated like a princess by two ikemen (Teacher, if you would have to know what’s going on in the mind of these two guys, you won’t say that she’s lucky anymore =w=“).

Mizuki held onto Ririko’s hand while taking her home. Even though she could not see his face at all, Ririko could sense the warmth from his hand, and felt reassured somehow.

It was night time when Ririko awoke after a nap on her bed. The time was 7.30PM and she could hear Minato and Mizuki conversing downstairs. Mizuki offered to send Minato to the train station but Minato had wanted to stay over and look after Ririko. She even wanted to stay at Mizuki’s room if it wasn’t good to stay in Ririko’s room while she was sick. (Wow, Minato sure is hinting hard at Mizuki here) But Mizuki rejected her, even cancelling their date plans in the weekend, explaining that he wasn’t able to accept her feelings. Minato felt hurt for being rejected suddenly like that, and even if her feelings were rejected, she still wanted to stay with Ririko since she’s worried about her, and know that Mizuki won’t be at home tomorrow due to practices. Mizuki scolded Minato off for being annoying (yikes, things are turning ugly D:), and concluded that if Ririko had not recovered, he won’t go anywhere and would stay by her side. (Erm, so in a way he still worries and cares about her...?)

Minato started to get suspicious on why Mizuki kept rejecting her and didn’t even want her to stay by Ririko’s side, but Mizuki simply replied her that he wanted to be the one to be by Ririko’s side, and he felt that he treasured Ririko more than how Minato treasured her. (Somehow it just feels so ironic since I still remembered what you did to Ririko yesterday Mizuki =w=“ Am I supposed to get touched here?) Minato rebutted that of course, she understood Mizuki’s feelings since she likes Ririko more than Mizuki. (So I guess her feelings towards Mizuki is just a crush, friendship is way more important~! Somehow the whole situation turns into one where they both fight over Ririko XD)

Before Ririko gets tired and faded off to sleep again, she heard Minato telling Mizuki that because she likes Ririko, it further leads onto her liking him as well, and thus wished that they won’t break up suddenly like that... (I thought they aren’t even at the dating stage yet...?)

Ririko, later on, felt hot and that her clothes were drenched with sweat. She felt something cold on her neck and opened her eyes. It was Mizuki, who was touching her neck with his fingers, as he continued on to unbutton all her buttons on her clothes, telling her that he’s going to remove them since she was sweating badly. (Erm? Guy did you just casually strip a girl just like that? o.O) He grabbed a towel and wiped her body with no expression on his face, but later on, his expression turned to one that was filled with nervousness, and Ririko could sense that his hands were shaking.

It was then Ririko realised that perhaps Mizuki might like her romantically, and felt her tears started falling even though she didn’t know why. Mizuki removed her entire shirt, and then get on top of her after getting his own clothes off. (Welp, it’s going down the forbidden route once again. OAO)

Mizuki apologised to Ririko that he can’t restrain himself, and assured her that he would let her enjoy this time around, and to close her eyes if she didn’t want to see him doing it (as if just closing the eyes will work?!) Starting with the foreplay and removing her bottoms, Mizuki told her that he likes Ririko and didn’t want to give her up to anyone else. Even though Ririko wanted to deny it, she felt good being touched by Mizuki, and before she knew it, she was stretching out her arms to him. Mizuki kissed all over her body, making Ririko went into orgasm and continuing from there, the two have sex, even though Ririko found herself crying and begging Mizuki not to do it since they’re siblings. Mizuki tried to assure Ririko that this was all a dream she’s having now since she had a fever, and everything will return to normal the next day, with them avoiding each other again...

In the midst of it, Mizuki suddenly felt like kissing Ririko and thus get off from her (initially he was lying on top of her with her back facing him). Ririko felt guilty that she actually sensed her body longing for him when he’s away from her. She kept thinking that what they’re doing was wrong, and it would destroy Mizuki’s future if they continued, as they were barely even twenty years old.

Mizuki turned her to face him and kissed her passionately while penetrating her again. She refused to kiss him though and told him that it’s because of his “massage” that she felt good, and asked him to quickly cum since she just wanted to send all of this with him. However, he didn’t give up, and continued on, even laughing at himself for not having sex with Ririko any earlier, since their room was just next to each other, which means the distance between him and her was just a wall away. Ririko thought about how their relationship had developed from siblings who were avoiding each other to siblings who were having sex together, and wondered which of these relationships are “correct”. But before she could come to an answer, Mizuki cummed into her and told her that he loves her. Ririko rebutted that she hated him, but deep down she knew that she still loves him (as a brother), and wondered why Mizuki had chosen to go down such a path, rather than them being close siblings like how it was in the past...

(I don’t know... this entire part felt like r*pe since Mizuki is taking this chance while Ririko was sick D: Somehow maybe this was why he was so insistent on chasing Minato home. Ririko’s mind might somehow be affected with all the brainwashing Mizuki is giving her while she’s still having a fever. Guys, please don’t do this type of things to a patient D:)

It was the next morning when Ririko awoke. (Saturday - Their parents will arrive home on Sunday) She felt physically much better and was about to reach for her phone to contact Itoh when she realised that Mizuki was still asleep next to her on the bed.

(He can still look like an angel when he’s asleep, but when he’s awake he’s like a devil TAT)

Mizuki soon awoke and asked Ririko if she had felt better, which Ririko dissed that her lower part of her body is still in pain (so how ironic of Mizuki to ask her that when it’s his fault). He smiled in reply and told her to stay home and rest since he would be back before one, but when Ririko told him that she’s meeting Itoh, he frowned and told her that she’s being duped by Itoh, reminding her that Itoh’s confession was all just part of the punishment game they had. It was revealed that Itoh had to choose between he lying to Ririko or Mizuki duping his younger sister and to protect his younger sister from getting hurt, he chose to confess to Ririko instead. Ririko replied that she had already known all of that, and Itoh had told her that his feelings for her was real, and was in fact pissed off that Mizuki had let her be duped when compared to Itoh who had to protect his sister.

(For those who want some eye candy of Mizuki in this outfit~)

Mizuki frowned as he revealed that he had thought that Ririko would reject Itoh when he confessed since he knew that Ririko initially showed no interest to Itoh even the guys were friends for years. (He even said that Ririko might dislike guys who are tall and good-looking... are you talking about yourself? =w=“) But after he had seen Ririko and Itoh in bed, Mizuki started to panic. Now that there was no need for him to pull back anymore and avoid Ririko, Mizuki hoped that Ririko would break up with Itoh, saying that it’s not like Ririko was in love with the latter anyway. (But erm... I think Ririko had some feelings for Itoh already at this point of time OWO”) Ririko rebutted that she likes Itoh and Mizuki had no say in her relationship on who she must break up with.

That pissed Mizuki off, as he taunted Ririko on what she’s going to do now, tell Itoh that she and her brother had sex? That made Ririko cry, as she doesn’t get what exactly Mizuki wanted to get out of a relationship with her. Seeing her break down made Mizuki smiled again, as he reminded her that she was already “dirtied” by him and that if she had told what had happened to Itoh, Itoh will break up with her, and thus she would be his. (Ughhh I want to punch Mizuki so badly~~~) Ririko kept crying and claimed that she didn’t want all of this to happen, begging Mizuki to return to how he was before. Mizuki smirked and asked her that by wanting him to return to how he was before, did she mean the Mizuki that she was always avoiding and somehow not even in her sight at all? He insisted that the reason why Ririko had avoided him was that she regretted seeing Mizuki in bed with another woman and felt hatred. Ririko denied of that being the reason, though she realised that other than being afraid of her brother who had become a man before her at that time, there seems to be another reason which she can’t remember.

In the end, Ririko urged him to get out of the house for soccer practices, telling him that she wished that he would stop destroying his image in her since the Mizuki that she remembered puts soccer above everything. Reluctantly, Mizuki left, leaving Ririko alone. Ririko longed to meet Itoh, but she knew that she can’t meet him now. Itoh contacted her later on and asked to come and visit her, but she rejected him in the end. She didn’t want to stay at home since she dreads waiting for Mizuki to return home, though she had no idea where she should go since at the end of the day she still needs to return home.

Finally, at 10am, a message from Minato arrived. She was glad to hear that Ririko was feeling better, and let her know that Mizuki and she aren’t dating anymore. Ririko felt apologetic towards her, but there was nothing she could do to even comfort her about. She now wished that Mizuki would pair up with Minato and that she would give them her blessings if that were to happen. But this was not possible, as Ririko now knew that Minato wasn’t even in Mizuki’s heart at all.

Suddenly, Ririko remembered the person that Mizuki had dated just before he broke up - a senpai who was a year older than them, Ezaki Mana. It was rumoured that Mana was the one who dumped Mizuki, and thus Ririko guessed she must be the reason that causes Mizuki’s heartbreak. After some asking around regarding Ezaki Senpai, Ririko get to know that she was practising at the rooftop since she belongs to the Wind Ensemble Club.

Sneaking off to school around noon, Ririko switched off her phone since Mizuki had called her (and she refused to answer it). She found Ezaki Senpai at the rooftop just as she expected, and asked her whether she wanted to get back into a relationship with Mizuki. (Is it alright to ask things that straightforward? OWO) However, Ezaki replied that even though she had wanted to be with Mizuki, unfortunately getting back together was impossible. She initially didn’t want to reveal the reason, but in the end, let out the fact that Mizuki was actually very bad at sex with her. (Hmmm??!!! So how did Mizuki get that good yesterday? O.o) Ezaki had guessed that Mizuki perhaps had someone else he’s interested in, since his penis can’t even get up when they’re having sex together, and thus... they broke up. (Well, that’s actually a very reasonable reason for breaking up I guess) (Poor Ririko is probably aghast that the person that Mizuki was said to be interested in... was herself D:)

Even though Ririko begged for Ezaki to give another thought and patch up with Mizuki, she ultimately decided not to, since it was something she was unable to forgive Mizuki about in the first place. She gave his next relationship her blessings since she had spotted Mizuki walking home with another girl earlier on. Ririko deduced from Ezaki’s observation that the girl was Minato, and began to worry on what Mizaki would tell Minato about. As she rushed down to catch up to Mizuki and Minato, she switched on her phone and found two messages, one from Minato telling her that she’s meeting up with Mizuki to talk over their matter again, and the other from Itoh, who told her he really wanted to meet her today.

Ririko replied to Itoh that she can’t meet him for today, and got a phone call from him asking where she was since Minato and he were both already with Mizuki at her house. She gave an excuse that she went out to buy the game she had wanted to buy, which Itoh accepted it easily and asked her to return home quickly. She, later on, got yet another phone call from Mizuki, asking her to return soon too, since he’s looking forward to “playing” with her, and thus wanted Ririko to stay at home tonight. (I could feel goosebumps on my arms already ><”) Ririko guessed from the messages that it means that Mizuki wanted to have sex again as it would be the last night before their parents return home.

Ririko felt depressed, revealing her thoughts that she wants to die through the phone to Mizuki, but the latter was unaffected and even offered to kill her if she had wanted it. Ririko was pissed and asked that Mizuki should be the one to die instead, which he agreed easily though he said that he would definitely die before Ririko’s sight. Ririko told Mizuki that she really doesn’t want to return home, only to get a threat from Mizuki that if she didn’t return by three, he would tell what that had happened to Minato and Itoh (Woah... that’s harsh since she could lose both her boyfriend and best friend altogether). In the end, Ririko had no choice but to agreed to go home, on the terms that Mizuki urged the other two to leave their house by the time she returned since she really was in no mood to meet them.

When Ririko rushed home, she was relieved to see both Minato and Itoh had left. Ririko asked to be left alone when she saw Mizuki, but the latter just urged her to break up with Itoh (Damn Mizuki you sure are annoying), which in the end Ririko decided to just send Itoh a message that their relationship was over. (Initially, Mizuki even demanded her to call Itoh and tell him, which frankly speaking, it’s going to be heartbreaking for Ririko to do that. Why are you so mean Mizuki?!!)

Mizuki even followed Ririko into her room, and she told him that she had met up with Ezaki Senpai today, up to the point of what she had known about Mizuki’s body. Mizuki wasn’t affected by what Ririko had dug up about him though, coolly revealing the fact that none of the girls he had dated with was able to satisfy him. Only Ririko was what he had wanted, and guessed that perhaps Ezaki Senpai had already sensed that his heart wasn’t on her which is why they broke up. (Yep, so Mizuki getting his heartbroken after he broke up with Ezaki was definitely not true. Guy just seems like he doesn’t care about that now.)

Ririko told him that she’s rejecting him and that what he’s doing now was stalkerish (asking her where she is, demanding and threatening her to come to him etc.), but Mizuki simply smirked and taunted her to make a police report about it. (Since Ririko felt very not confident about herself and always look up to Mizuki as the one who had better looks and height, she guessed that no one would believe her if she revealed what had happened to her and that she might be sent to the mental hospital instead. I feel bad for Ririko, it’s really unhealthy to be so not confident to the point that she even worried that no one would see her as a victim.)

However, Ririko believed that their parents would think the best for her and told Mizuki that she would request to live far away from him. Mizuki sighed as he knew that there’s no way to convince Ririko to be his lover, and just silently took off his clothes and pushing her onto the bed. (.... Is that the only thing you can do?!! *Sigh*)

(Mizuki really looks very evil here ><”)

As he got on top of her on the bed, Mizuki revealed that he actually hates himself for how he behaved yesterday and today, but he felt suffocated and pain in his heart, calling Ririko his sister and asking her to help him. But Ririko replied that he didn’t seem to be suffering at all, and had been doing what he likes with her all this while. Mizuki was sure that Ririko must have realised something when she saw him having sex with other girls in the past, and that was why she had been avoiding him since then, but she could not understand how that incident would link to him liking her romantically, even blaming Mizuki being the reason that she dislikes guys later on. Mizuki did not buy that reason though and kept insisting that Ririko must have known that he likes her at that time, that the girl he was having sex with was a replacement of herself, since... he actually let Ririko caught him in the act on purpose at that time. (What?!!! So the entire thing was planned by Mizuki O.O”)

Ririko thought back to what had happened three years ago. It was the summer vacation, and as she was eating ice cream in the house when she heard someone panting inside the bedroom that no one was supposed to be in it. She wondered whether Mizuki had brought his friends back home, and when she opened the bedroom door, she was shocked to see Mizuki shirtless with another girl in the room. The bedroom that Mizuki was in was actually Ririko’s bedroom, that has no lock, and thus it was weird that why Mizuki wasn’t doing that in his own bedroom, which has a lock that he could have some privacy in. This was the reason why Ririko had avoided Mizuki after that, since she had seen Mizuki trying to have sex with another girl in her bedroom, on her bed, and somehow knew that Mizuki was pretending the girl was herself while doing that. She cried and told Mizuki that she could only choose to ignore him after knowing that truth since there’s no way they could be lovers as they were siblings.

Mizuki told Ririko not to run away from him, and look at him as a man. Though while Ririko had thought of her brother as a very charming and attractive man, she knew that it would be unfortunate to fall in love with her brother, and thus did not even bother to think about that ever since. Mizuki asked her once again whether she likes him as a man or not, which Ririko thought that she actually prefers Itoh rather than him (and even thought that Mizuki must be shameless to think all girls will like him or prefer him more than Itoh. Guess Ririko still has a crush on Itoh~) She rebutted that she doesn’t like him romantically nor will like him that way forever.

Mizuki smiled as he knew that there’s really no way to convince Ririko to see him the way he sees her since Ririko would forever think that siblings can’t become lovers. He had initially wanted to hide his feelings and live that way forever for the sake of their parents, but now that he’s suffering so bad, he didn’t want to hide them anymore. Ririko told him that he’s just being a narcissist by liking her since they’re alike and it would be like him loving himself. (Oops, in a way that sounds kind of true.) Mizuki knew that and revealed that he really hates that the blood that flows in him was the same as Ririko’s since all he wanted was to able to declare his love for her out loud. In the end, he gave up on wanting to get Ririko’s heart, and just went for her body instead...

As Mizuki gave her kiss marks all over her body, Ririko cried and decided that she didn’t want to care about these kiss marks left on her anymore, now that she had already broken up with Itoh, and she would probably not be able to get into a relationship with anyone anymore, even wanting to die even more now. (That really sounds so sad and depressing.)

Later on, Mizuki even suggested that they should have sex again since he wanted to be with her until the morning, which Ririko dissed him that all he’s thinking of was about sex. (How horny is this guy? =w=“) Mizuki taunted her whether she was going to kill him, but Ririko replied that she can’t even stop Mizuki from touching her, and thus knew that she would be unable to kill him if she wants to. Instead, she decided that she shall disappear (meaning she’ll die) before him. Mizuki showed a sad face and told her that he won’t live either if she had died, and Ririko rebutted that why not both of them just die together. (Woah, guess even Ririko is going off to the crazy side) Even though Mizuki initially thought that was a good idea, he soon shook his head and told Ririko that he wants her to continue living happily (do you think that can still happen after what you’ve done?!), and he shall be the only one who dies instead. Ririko noticed that Mizuki had a really lonely expression on his face as he said that. With that, Mizuki left the room, leaving Ririko by herself, which led her to wonder perhaps her nightmare will end for today. Their parents are coming back tomorrow, and since her mother will be at home most of the time, it would be hard for Mizuki to lay his hands on her again.

Ririko noticed that the time was 5pm, and decided that she shall start making dinner even though she didn’t have much of an appetite and didn’t really want to eat with Mizuki either. Even though Mizuki had done terrible things to her, she still treats him as a brother and knew that their mother will get angry if Mizuki wasn’t well taken care of and have his meals.

As Ririko stepped out of the room, she noticed that there was no sound coming from Mizuki’s room at all, and wondered perhaps he was asleep. Just then, a stream of blood started flowing out from Mizuki’s room, which made Ririko panicked. What exactly had happened in Mizuki’s room? She grabbed onto the doorknob and tried to open the door, but the room was locked. She hurriedly knocked onto the door, calling for Mizuki to come out for dinner, hoping that her brother’s appearance will erase the fear she had in mind. But... there was no answer, as the blood continued to flow out from under his door...

Ririko remembered that she was the one who had said she wanted to die, and thus couldn’t understand why Mizuki turned out to be the one who committed suicide by himself all alone and locking himself in the room. The thought of Mizuki dying led Ririko to believe that she was the one who had killed him (since she believed that without his obsession over her, he might continue to live on a normal life), though that also meant that she would be free from Mizuki forever. However, she wasn’t happy about the freedom she gained, and all she could do for the rest of the day was to tremble and drenched herself in tears...

Omake

What you’ve read above is actually just the main story route and the first ending of this game~ This game has five endings in total, which I’ll write the playthrough for the remaining four in a later post.

There’s an omake in the game, which is pretty much like a backstage talk, where Mizuki will make an appearance and talks about the various endings and what the author had thought when she (I think it’s a female) wrote the story.

The first ending is pretty much the most normal and says... expected ending of this game. (I unknowingly reached this on my first run since I was both nice to Itoh and Mizuki, yet chooses not to rely on Itoh and rejected Mizuki’s feelings at the various option. These choices were logical to me when I self-insert myself in Ririko, but now that I look back at it, choices like this were why I wasn’t able to go into either character’s ending D:) This was also the first ending that the author had thought of when she wrote the story.

Mizuki explained that this is what was considered a “default” bad ending, where his first-sided love for Ririko was never accepted, and thus he decided to end his life since he couldn’t see a future anymore. Initially, a love-hate relationship was planned for this ending, but Mizuki affirmed that he won’t do anything that will hurt Ririko. (Guess the author initially wanted to write even more horrible things done by Mizuki... D:)

(There was this part where Mizuki talked about his sexual experience, and he revealed that he actually had sex with Minato on Ririko’s bed, and guessed that it was successful since it turned out that he’s okay doing it with anyone as long as it was on Ririko’s bed =w=“ It was noted that it doesn’t seem to be Minato’s first time in sex anyway, and revealed that Minato had dated her elder brother’s friend before so... yeah you can guess where her past experience came from.)

Talking about an elder brother, Mizuki noted that Itoh was an elder brother in his family, but felt interesting that he was fond of Ririko, who had the vibe of an elder sister (well, it would be kind of weird if he became a sis-con for younger sister). Mizuki wondered maybe he won’t be such a spoiled guy in the story if he was the elder brother instead.

Code Realize ~Wintertide Miracles~ Playthrough - Alternate Story - First Christmas Fran -

Warning: Spoilers. Image heavy post.

Please read Fran’s route on the original Code Realize’s playthrough before procceeding.

Sorry that this was yet another blog post that took a long time to be completed ><” Was planning on finishing this sooner but work and health problems recently made me tired and reluctant to write for a long time D: But my love for Fran had finally made me pull through, so enjoy!

In this alternate timeline, the story started off summarizing abit on the terrorist plan that was created by Isaac, Cardia’s father, and after the group had managed to stop the plan, Fran decided to leave the government and become a doctor. Cardia had managed to save her brother, Finis, and now both of them stayed at Wales, in this beautiful mansion.

The story changed over to Fran’s point of view, where he had opened a clinic for a few months already, and with his reputation growing, he gradually gets more and more patients every day. The patient he’s seeing today was a mafia boss, Darius, who may look tough on the outside but was suffering a backache. (His expression here is quite funny XD)

Shirley, his daughter asked him to take it easy, alongside with her bodyguard, Passy. (Though it’s definitely not a good thing to diss that your boss is getting on age, Passy =w=“)

Darius was the head of the Gordon family, and with the family selling affordable medicine to Van, he was able to keep his rates low for his customers and that was a big help to the residents since most of them were usually too poor to visit a doctor. Darius wondered why Van had decided to open a clinic in such a neighbourhood rather than heading back to Royal Society, but even though he could help the country by creating new medicine and saving those that suffer from incurable diseases, Van felt that it will be important for him to understand the things that he creates will bring upon the people in the end.

Shirley asked Fran on Cardia’s situation, to which Fran replied that Cardia was doing well, and Finis and her would come over for checkups from time to time.

(It’s great that Cardia had actually made a female friend here on this alternate storyline ^^ Shirley looks pretty cute~)

(These characters are pretty interesting, I think more information regarding them are found on Finis’s Route in Code Realize ~Future Blessings~? Shall play that next time to figure it out~)

When the Gordon Family had left, Fran wondered what the rest of the gang was doing now. Lupin and Impey had left for France to look for someone, Van and Dora-chan had went off to search for other surviving vampires, and Saint would appear unexpectedly at times, with Fran only knew that he was affiliated with a secret society and was quite busy. Cardia and Finis had reunited and were now living peacefully in Wales. Thinking about them made Fran felt lonely as Cardia filled his mind again. (Awww~)

Even after the clinic had closed, Fran still needed to check his supplies, prepare his medicine for tomorrow’s examinations and working on his research for new medicine. When all his tasks were finally done, he sat down and looked through his mail and found a letter addressed to him from his mother.

Fran initially lived in Switzerland but had left several years ago in order to follow his path on alchemy. But when he ended up being on the wanted list and was on the run, he wasn’t able to write to his parents and guessed that his circumstances back then. His mother had told Fran to think about settling down now that he’s a grown man, and Fran was thinking about writing his usual response when he wondered if it’s okay if he wrote about Cardia in his letter, and started writing. When he was done, he flustered as he realised that he was pretty much bragging about Cardia in his letter, but ultimately still decided to send it out since what he had written was true and Cardia was indeed important to him.

(I do like Fran’s indoor outfit here, he looks even cuter when he blushed >/////<)

Later on, Fran found himself dreaming, a dream where he and Cardia had their last walk in London before Cardia heads back to Wales. He wondered whether Cardia and he would have a different future if he had said something different back then... But ultimately, he still encouraged her to be happy with Finis now that they are normal siblings, and that they should live together to make up for their lost time.

(Cardia looked so adorable here and Fran was so dependable as always~ ^^)

Fran had noticed that Cardia had shown a lonely face, he assured her that she can always come back for checkups frequently so it’s not like they can’t see each other again. Cardia continued to look at Fran intensely as if she had wanted to say something, however, in the end, she decided not to say anything, and left for Wales. Actually, at that time, Fran had another desire in his heart, but he had pushed it away since he knew that it’s best for Cardia to be with her family. He pondered what if he did something different back then, and had the courage to ask her to stay, will things be different between then now...?

When Fran awoke, he found himself in Watson’s house. Apparently, Fran had decided to stay at Watson’s house the night before. Fran and Watson had met when Fran was helping the victims injured by the Nautilus bombings, and from then the two had became great colleagues and friends. Watson was worried about Fran’s health, telling him that it would be bad if the doctor himself had fainted with exhaustion while consulting a patient.

Even though Fran had felt fulfilled being a doctor and treating patients, he still experiences loneliness, to the point that he kept dreaming the above heartbreaking dream every night. (Wow... that sounds like Fran really misses Cardia very much ><”) Watson mentioned that he had heard Fran’s sleeptalk and he was repeating a single name multiple times, which led to Fran blurting out about Cardia. In the end, Fran had no choice but to let Watson know about his feelings about Cardia. He had regretted about missing the opportunity to speak openly before they parted ways, and wondered if a new path may appear before him if he had chose to say his thoughts back then. Watson suggested Fran go and meet Cardia instead rather than waiting for her to come back to London, which somehow seems to convince Fran.

When Fran was heading home later on, he met Leonhardt, who praised him that he’s like a real doctor now, and tried to convince him to come back to the Royal Alchemy. But Fran refused Leonhardt once again, saying that his mind was set on that he wanted to help people’s lives directly by treating them in the clinic, rather than staying in the lab. Leonhardt was satisfied with Fran’s answer and told him that he would be rooting for him ^^ He also told Fran that the government had managed to locate the Zicterium from the document they had retrieved from Twilight, and Queen Victoria had decided to seal it to prevent it being used as a weapon again. In the end, Fran asked for a small sample for Cardia, and requested for the rest of them to be destroyed.

(This is the first time I see Fran in such an outfit~ He really looks quite different in terms of aura when compared to his original outfit~ >////<)

On the way home, Fran came across the Tower Bridge, he remembered the day he had gone on his last walk with Cardia, and wondered what Cardia had tried to tell him on that day. He also wondered what happens if he had said the below to Cardia, but thought that he might have troubled her instead...

When Fran finally reached, he found a letter from his mother again, surprised to see a reply so soon. Turned out that Fran’s parents were glad to hear about Cardia, and had mistaken that Fran was dating her. They wanted to meet Cardia, and decided to come over to London during Christmas, asking Fran to plan accordingly. (Yikes! Here comes trouble~!)

The story then continued on in Cardia’s point of view. Fran had written to her and she was surprised that he was coming to visit them rather than them going over to London this time. Cardia’s impression of Fran was that he was the one who had helped her more than the others, since he was the only one who could examine her and Finis. Cardia remembered that Fran had reassured her countless times that she’s a normal girl, giving her strength with his words. She realised that Fran was an important person to her that even now, just thinking about him makes her heart throb. She thought about her last walk in London with Fran, and was actually expecting Fran to tell her to stay with him at that time. (Awww~ >////<) She had suspected the words were there, just waiting to come out on that day, and had thought that Fran had thought of her in a very special way too. But she also wondered what would happen, if she was the one who had told Fran that she didn’t want to leave on that day... would things be different now?

Now that Fran was arriving soon, Cardia made sure that she was dressed up and even wanted to put on the lipstick she had bought with Shirley last time. But Finis spotted her actions and started dissing her that she was smiling creepily at the mirror ^^; He had baked some cookies, ready to serve them together with some tea to Fran when he arrived. Cardia smiled, noticing that Finis’s attitude towards Fran was much better than the other guys since he was ready to chase the others like Saint or Impey when they come visiting.

(Finis’s words of approval of Fran~ He’s indeed the most acceptable, or say, least craziest among the group XD)

(Finis looked quite cute now with his two buns on the head XDD)

Fran soon arrived and started looking around Cardia’s room, remarking that it’s cute and that it’s charmingly feminine, and his compliments made Cardia embarrassed. Fran noticed that Cardia was blushing, and wanted to take a look at her if she’s not feeling well. Cardia explained that she was just feeling restless and nervous since this was the first time she was showing Fran her room here and her reaction ended up making Fran felt abit restless too and started blushing.

(These two are both blushing which makes the situation awkwardly adorable~ >////<)

Realising the situation was too awkward at the moment, Cardia decided to leave the room, offering to call Finis. But Fran grabbed her arm to stop from heading out, since he wanted to talk to Cardia alone.

There was something important that Fran had wanted to tell Cardia that he needed to tell her in person, even though he felt that it might be really embarrassing. Asking Cardia to listen to him carefully, Fran asked her to become his significant other. (Fran finally confessed~! Yeah~~)

These words were what Cardia had been waiting for, though she wondered whether she is enough for him. However, Fran’s words later on crushed her fantasy, telling her that she doesn’t have to be his “real” significant other. She’s confused, wondered what had he meant by that. (Excuse me, Fran?!)

Fran noticed that Cardia looked confused and tried to explain in a hurry. Long story short, he needed Cardia to pretend to be his significant other. Cardia’s mood turned sour, demanding Fran to stay in the room while she left to get some tea.

(Cardia was indeed quite pissed off if she had such thought OWO”)

When Cardia returned, Fran decided to give her a proper explanation, saying that he had written to his parents about her being a girl that he was interested in, but his parents had mistaken and thought that they were engaged, and had planned to come over during Christmas to visit. Thus, Fran needed Cardia’s help during Christmas to act as a couple together. Cardia still felt upset, but realised that she was upset about herself misunderstanding the situation from earlier on. TWT Though she knew that Fran was very troubled, she actually felt exremely opposed to it, and thus wanted a reason to reject this proposal.

(Yikes, I didn’t know which option I should choose honestly, so I just chose a random one seriously D:)

Cardia answered that she won’t be a very good actor and suggested getting Finis or Lupin to disguise and act as her instead, but Fran opposed to it frantically. He blushed as he admitted that he had written alot of details regarding her to his parents, like how adorable she was, the places they had been through together and...

(Seriously, that’s wayyyyy too much information out there, Fran =////=“)

(I know how embarrassing it is, Cardia XD)

With Fran begging like this, Cardia can’t bear to reject him in the end, though she had a special condition for accepting this proposal...

(I just love this part where Cardia played a joke on Fran, pretending to reject him to make him panic for a moment XD Look at Fran’s face of doom XDD)

The story changed to Fran’s point of view as it continues. Cardia had accepted his request, so all he had to do now was to make sure his clinic’s matter was well organised and explain the current situation to the rest of the gang, since Lupin and the others will be coming over to London to celebrate Christmas together. However, rather than Cardia arriving on the morning of Christmas, Finis and her had arrived at the train station, whom Fran had went to fetch.

(Cardia’s and Finis’s winter outfit are so beautiful and cute~ >////<)

Suddenly, a man appeared mysteriously before them, whom Finis identified him from Idea. The man reintroduced him as Hansel, asking Finis to remember his name since they’re friends. Hansel explained that he’s here to check up on them since “mother” was worried, but assured them everything’s fine.

Finis was shocked when Hansel suddenly grabbed him, whining to put him down. Hansel reminded Finis that the latter had wanted to go somewhere in the south since the weather was cold here, though Finis had said that casually and didn’t really mean it. Hansel still wanted to keep his promise though and forcefully brought Finis away, leaving just Cardia and Fran to themselves.

(Both of them looks compatible here in the winter outfit~ ^^)

Fran proposed that they head back to the clinic to put away their luggage, and as he was about to head away, Cardia held onto his sleeve, reminding him to fulfil his condition. What follows was a short flashback to Cardia proposing her two conditions on helping Fran - (1) Fran was to act as her significant other and cares for her as well, (2) Cardia wanted as much practice as possible with Fran before she met his parents, and came to London a few days earlier than Christmas for that.

Since Fran had to fulfil his condition, he had to start their practice, by putting his arm around Cardia. The two of them head off, with Cardia being amazed to see snow for the first time in her life.

(At this moment I actually get an option screen, when I’m in Fran’s POV?! This feels like I’m getting Cardia’s affection up rather than Fran, in an otome game =w=“)

Fran accidentally revealed his true thoughts, which made both Cardia and him blushed like crazy XDDD But Cardia thought he was acting when he said that actually. Fran wanted to tell Cardia that he didn’t want to act (since he wanted to be an actual significant other), but missed the chance to do so, since he was afraid of destroying Cardia’s happiness. (*disappointed TWT*)

Anyway, they’ve completed their first mission of walking in London together as a couple. Their next mission on the next day was to tell their friends that they’re a couple~!

Turns out that Fran was the one who’s all embarrassed to tell them, but Cardia encouraged him, saying that if he can’t even tell his friends this, it’s going to be harder when facing his parents later on.

When Cardia and Fran entered the mansion where the gang used to gather, they’re first greeted by Impey, who was glad to see his angel. But he made a weird face when he noticed something...

Fran had wanted to announce that Cardia and him were a couple as soon as they stepped in initially, but the others soon turned out and everyone was caught up in greetings and catching up... until Impey finally pointed out that Cardia and Fran were linking arms together XD

(Feels abit bad for Impey that his angel Cardia was snatched away~~~)

Now that Impey had brought it up, Fran finally had the chance to announce Cardia as his~

(I love this line of his so much XDDD)

The rest of the gang didn’t seems shocked and accept it easily, much to the dismay of Impey (I bet he wanted others to object to Fran and Cardia dating, but oh well....). Van remarked that it seems natural and normal to him that Fran and Cardia are together~ (Van gave his thumb of approval? XD)

Fran and Cardia decided to explain everything in the end when the commotion had settled. Realising that Fran’s parents would be visiting on 24th December which was the same day the gang was having their party, Lupin “demanded” Fran to spend the entire day with his parents, and they would postpone the party to another day, even encouraging Cardia and Fran to have more “practice” and leave the preparations for the party to the rest of the gang.

(Impey was glad that all of this was an act though he was crying about it earlier on ^^; You definitely thought that was real just now XD)

(I just realised this now and reading this made me a little sad...)

Even though both Fran and Cardia wanted to spend as much time as possible practising to be a couple and going on dates, Fran still had to run his clinic, and Cardia decided to help him out. The patient had noticed her and teased Fran, remarking that he’s married.

(Fran’s explanation is so cute and definitely doesn’t stop the patient from continuing on teasing him XD)

They closed the clinic after the morning on December 23, and decided to spend the afternoon walking around the town as a couple. Along the way, they stopped by a cafe for a tea break, but the couple menu offered to them was full of dishes’ names that were embarrassing for one to say it out loud ^^;

(What follows was pretty much the humiliation of Fran X3, since you can select from three different dishes for him to order >/////< Yep, I’ve selected all of them just to listen to him saying it XD)

Cardia felt embarrassed to the point that she looked away from him, to which he complained that he’s the one who felt more embarrassed since he was the one who ordered it XD Cardia wondered if they looked like a real couple seeing that the waiter offered them the couple’s menu when they entered the cafe, to which Fran mummered whether it would be wrong if they’re a real couple. (Sounds like he wanted them to be an actual couple rather than for act, same like Cardia, but no one is taking another step in confirming their relationship TWT)

Fran later proposed that they shall try to do everything couples do, and brought her to this beautiful place...

There was an ice rink available there, and thus Fran decided to teach Cardia how to ice skate. Cardia can’t help but feel abit pissed on how good Fran at ice-skating since she had thought of him as one who isn’t so athletic. Fran smiled and answered that since he had been skating pretty much his entire life in his hometown, he’s proud of his skating skills when compared to Lupin or Van.

(It’s refreshing to see that Fran had his childish / boyish side as well~ ^////^)

Just then, Fran pulled Cardia away from the fence that she was holding on, making her all flustered and holding tightly to his hand, while being aware of the close distance between them. When Fran suggested whether he should let go of her arm so she could try to skate on her own, Cardia told him not to let go of her, and he replied that he won’t let go of her anymore. (In a different sense, but awww~ this part is sweet~ >////<)

Even though Cardia cherished these moments she had with Fran, she can’t help but think that Fran was doing all these with her as part of their practices and them being a couple was just temporary. Finally, on December 24, Christmas Eve, it was planned that they would welcome Fran’s parents who would arrive by train in the evening. Cardia felt that it would be hard to let go of Fran when the act comes to an end, wondering whether she would be able to refrain herself from making any sad expressions.

They went for a walk together, talking about how they’ve felt these few days that they’ve been through together. Cardia had noticed that Fran seems to let himself free to the point that she felt that he wasn’t even acting when he looked at her with such gentle expression, leading her to be deceived that they were really a couple.

When they arrived at the train station, Fran asked Cardia to come closer to him since he’s afraid that she would get a cold, and wrapped his arms around her. Even though Cardia tried to create a conversation with him, she found herself unable to do so and end up crying instead.

(This part was so heart-breaking at that moment T////T)

In reply to Fran, Cardia finally decided to let out her true feelings, she had fun for the past few days, but felt painful too, knowing that all of this would come to an end, and revealed that she didn’t want them being a couple to be a lie. She told Fran that she would keep a good act until the very end even though she’s sad, to which Fran replied that she’s very strong, even stronger than him. He told Cardia that he didn’t want both of them to be liars, nor he wanted to live with any more regrets in his life, and thus proposed a way for them to turn their lie into the truth.

(I’ve been waiting for this moment since the start of the route T////T You guys took way too long to get together! T////T )

Seeing that Cardia might now believe his words and thought that he was saying all this as part of their act, he decided to turn his feelings into actions... by kissing Cardia on the lips.

With that, Cardia believed him and both of them became a couple at last~ ^////^ Cardia was interested to know what Fran’s parents were like, since they could be her family one day. (Wow, the pace is moving towards marriage now?! O////O) Fran laughed and replied that they’re very normal, and that they loved Fran very much. (Sounds like Fran really did grew up in a loving family ^^)

When Fran’s parents arrived, Fran greeted them warmly and introduced Cardia to them, which they were curious to know since Fran had written so much about her in the letter XD

What Cardia and Fran would have to worry will be to explain their relationship status to their friends later on, and she looked forward to the near future where Fran’s family will become part of her family too, with Fran vowing that he will cherish every moment that they spend together, and their future was just beginning.

And~ it’s the end~ Welp, I actually felt this was short (it seems even shorter than the last FD) since it feels like their sweet moments were about to start but it ended T////T Fran’s route sure likes to feed me bitter and sweet moments T/////T Overall I still enjoyed them very much since it’s “Fran”, but a part of me sure do craves for more sweet moments with him since even after two fan discs of Fran’s moment, I didn’t felt it was enough >/////< Fran is really such a great character for me that he seriously jumped up to my top favourites of guys after so many years of otome-gaming ^/////^

I realised that there was still the triangle date but I shall not play that part yet until I’m done with another character’s route~ You guys might know whose route I’m going for next in the main game seeing how I’ve put up the banner on the blog, so see you guys on the next route~!

Code Realize ~Future Blessings~ Playthrough - After Story White Rose - side Fran -

Warning: Spoilers. Image heavy post.

Please read Fran’s route on the original Code Realize’s playthrough before procceeding.

Finally~! Sorry if this was a long wait, but I decided to summarize the entire route into a post rather than splitting it up since I wanted to do a shorter playthrough than my usual ones as I find myself getting too long-winded ^^; Nevertheless, I end up adding alot of thoughts and the route was still pretty long to write so there you have it~ Enjoy the Fran and Cardia moments below ^^

Before the story starts, there was some flashback to the earlier game in regards to what had happened. (I personally like how it was basically a monologue of Fran’s thoughts, especially the part where he explained that he initially wanted to help Cardia in order to get rid of his guilt, deluding himself that by doing so, he might be able to erase his sins.)

Now, onto the future after the main game!

Fran and Cardia were still staying together at the huge mansion that Saint had left in their care. Fran had his day job as the royal alchemist at the palace, and the scene started with Cardia reminding Fran not to forget anything before he left for work. (Apparently, Fran was a little clumsy to have forgotten his stethoscope the day before, had his shoes worn on the opposite feet the week before, and had even accidentally brought Sisi to work XD)

(Fran’s explanation sounds like he didn’t have a good night sleep due to something Cardia did the night before... >////<)

Cardia noticed that Fran had a cowlick poking up on his head and was about to touch his hair to flatten when she realised what she was about to do and immediately stepped back. She isn’t wearing her gloves now, and she had been taking medicine to control her condition, but she was still afraid of her accidentally harming Fran.

Fran took her hand and put it on his cheeks, assuring her that it’s fine and she did not need to be afraid. There’s no scent of melting, rotten flesh, and instead, she felt the warmth of her lover. It felt that only a little time had passed since Cardia had managed to touch things, so Fran tried to help her to feel comfortable about her sense of touch, which Cardia really appreciated.

Fran encouraged her not to rush, and that she’s just a regular girl now. (He even calls her his princess, awww~ >/////< When did Fran become such a sweet-talker~)

But, it’s not the time to endless indulge in touching each other’s cheeks now since Fran was going to be late. Cardia rushed Fran off to work, though she knew that she would have kept holding onto him if he didn’t have to work. Just as she lingered for Fran (when he just left ^^;), Fran came back again, claiming that he had forgotten something.

(Yep, this was what he had forgotten - to tell Cardia that he loves her, aww~ ^///^ Too bad he didn’t manage to stay for her answer.)

The story then went onto explain what other stuff had happened after the main game. Victoria had changed herself and now planned to aim for peace with progression and development for the country. Fran had rejoined the Royal Society once again as an alchemist.

In the day when Fran was working, Cardia would be cleaning and tidying up the mansion, the place where it held many memories of her and her friends. Now, only Fran, Sisi and she were the ones remaining in the mansion, with Saint, the original owner, signing the property over to them, and departed for France. (Wow, Saint just gave them a free house just like that... OWO) Cardia had decided that she shall take care and keep the mansion in top condition so that when her friends returned, the mansion would be just like how they’ve remembered it.

(In case anyone was interested, Lupin and Impey were still travelling together, seeking of something of great import, whereas Van and Dora-chan were working together to protect the remaining surviving vampires.)

Remembering about her friends and realising the Fran wasn’t around in the house either made Cardia felt quite lonely, but Sisi nestled close to her feet to remind her that he’s still there. (So cute~) Suddenly, Sisi noticed something and ran off, thus Cardia chased after him to the dining room, and realised that there was a parcel on the floor... which was actually Fran’s lunchbox (Why is it lying there on the floor o.O?) Realising that this was perhaps an excuse for her to see Fran, Cardia decided to send the lunch box to him and set off with Sisi.

However, Fran wasn’t at his workplace when Cardia reached there, as he was attending a meeting at the palace with the Queen instead. Cardia could have left Fran’s lunchbox there actually, but she decided to head all the way to the palace instead. (Cardia must really want to see Fran badly XD) The guards were there when she arrived, and since she can’t just go through them, Cardia wondered whether she should just stay and wait until the meeting is over.

A voice called out to her just then, and to her surprise, it’s Van~! (Van’s face when he realised that Cardia had come all the way to the palace just to give Fran his lunch~ XD)

Van decided to lend Cardia a hand in getting her into the palace by following him. Turned out that Van was here as a bodyguard for Dora-chan and this other person called Marquis Renfield, who was a supporter in Dora-chan’s aim to establish a vampire-governed zone, and their seminar for today was the one that Fran was attending.

When Cardia spotted Fran, he was apologising to Dora-chan, revealing to him that he was the one had droved his vampire clan almost to extinction, since the poisonous Zicterium gas used to kill the vampires was ultimately invented by him. Though Fran knew that no apologies would be enough for him to atone his sins, he wanted to find someone who had survived, which in this case, Dora-chan, and attempt an apology.

Dora-chan calmly told Fran that if he had not told him what he had done, Dora-chan himself would have never known about his sins, and thus not even have to apologise for it. But that won’t do for Fran since the guilt pained him every time they shared a conversation, and he knew that if he had continued on keeping this a secret, he would never be able to share a genuine moment with him. Dora-chan simply smiled and said that he knew what kind of a person Fran was and knew that he won’t be someone who would create a murder weapon of his own wish. He told Fran to stop taking responsibility for his creation and asked him to stop hating his own self because of that. (Now that Dora-chan had forgiven him and asked him to forgive himself, it seems that everything was much better now~ ^^)

When Van and Cardia approached them, Dora-chan blushed when he realised that they were eavesdropping on them, and also because Van had praised him that he was like his father XD Cardia told Fran that she was happy for him, now that he had finally dealt a thing that had been plaguing him for a long time.

Fran was curious why Cardia was here though, thus Cardia showed him the lunch he had forgotten to bring along with him. Dora-chan got curious and peeked into the basket Cardia had brought, then started asking whether this was a lunch packed with love and adoration, which made Fran started to blush furiously XD

(Cardia, you are not helping the situation by admitting to it XD)

Too bad that Fran had yet another talk after lunch, and thus wasn’t able to take the time to walk Cardia back to the mansion. Cardia decided to head home back herself, bidding goodbye to Van and Dora-chan, who promised that they would call on them when they passed by London again.

Before Cardia could leave though, she met Leonhardt, who told her that the Queen would like to see her. Even though Cardia was worried, Fran assured her with a smile that it would be alright.

Queen Victoria smiled when she saw Cardia, explaining that she just wanted to have a chat with her and was even alright with Cardia calling her by her name. There had been major changes since the last time they had met, with Victoria reducing the military pressure on neighbouring European countries, and shifting towards a policy of peace. Victoria revealed that she had personally walked down the ruined street of the Lower Town of London, and saw it for herself how her actions had caused grief and misery to that part of the city. But she realised the people living there had not given up, continuing to rebuild their home, and found ways to survive and move forward. It was then she knew that the Britains themselves and Great Britain was not weak.

(The Queen smiles here which I found it a beautiful sight <3)

Victoria decided that she shall now oversee the country’s progress rather than acting as a direct protector, claiming that she shall lay down the groundworks for future Britain. In fact, she had been so busy recently that she doesn’t even have the time to complain, which Cardia offered to listen to her whenever she’s free or even both of enjoying a teatime together.

Suddenly, Victoria motioned to Cardia to get closer, and wanted to know how things were proceeding with Cardia and Fran. Cardia smiled and answered Fran was always being very kind to her, even telling her that he loves her every day, (Aww, Fran does dotes on Cardia very much >////<) The Queen was glad to hear that and mentioned that it’s lovely to find someone that she can share her innermost self with, even remarking that she wanted to give marriage a try.

(Poor Leonhardt did not take to this well though XD)

Victoria assured Leonhardt it would still be in the distant future that she will get married since stabilizing the country was her priority now. Even Cardia noticed that Leonhardt’s smile when he’s relieved seems more personal... (Hmm~? O////O) Cardia was glad to have the chance to share a pleasant afternoon chat with the Queen nevertheless.

As she walked home with Sisi though, she saw an elderly couple and wondered whether she and Fran would be like that someday, perfectly serene. She tried to imagine that, but couldn’t in the end...

When they were having a late teatime together after Fran came back from work, he noticed that Cardia seems abit distracted, and wondered whether she’s feeling unwell.

(Cardia being unwell could be a good excuse to visit Fran, now that he had said that XD)

(It’s so adorable how Fran just straight up gave Cardia a peck on the cheeks with this confession~ >////< Guess what Cardia had said about Fran telling her that he loves her every day was true after all~)

However, their lovey-dovey time was soon stopped by a guest, who was none other than Saint, after coming back from France for some “business”. Saint was serious as he met them, telling them that there’s someone he wanted them to meet, or say, confront. And thus, three of them set off into the night and ended up on tower bridge.

Fran soon realised that something was amiss when he got on the bridge, remarking that it was weirdly quiet around here when usually there should still be traffic around here at this time.

The first person to appear before them was... someone in armour which Cardia remarked that she had seen before. A voice came from within the armour, explaining that they had been observing her ever since she had come in contact with Saint. An old woman in a wheelchair soon appeared next, and noticing Fran’s and Cardia’s confused faces, guessed that Saint had not told them anything at all.

The old woman introduced herself as Omnibus, and that she governed an organisation known as Idea, where others had referred to them as “agents of destiny” or “guides of history”. Their mission was to ensure that history unfolds justly and to coax humanity away from grievous error. Turned out that Saint was a member of the organisation, an apostle as well as the woman in armour - Guinevere.

Fran questioned their motive for meeting them here, to which Omnibus replied that she’s here to give them a warning, as well as offering a proposal for Fran. Apparently, Idea was impressed by Fran’s intelligence but was worried that he might cross into the realm of taboo like Isaac in creating what that was not supposed to, which was Cardia. They wished that Fran would consider things carefully before creating something, which Fran promised that he would take responsibility for what he had created, considering how he knew that the Zicterium he had created had caused countless of death.

But the warning was just the beginning of what Idea had wanted to talk to Fran about. Their main aim was regarding Cardia, as even though her Horologium was currently rendered to be completely inert, there was still a possibility that it would awake someday, and that the dangerous poison would come back again. Fran was angry as he countered that this was impossible since he had used different methods available to check that the Horologium was stable, and thus the possibility of it reactivating was zero.

However, what Idea was worried was not the Horologium reactivating in recent years, but instead, hundreds and hundreds of years later, since Cardia was still considered inhuman even if her body was not poisonous anymore, and might have a longer lifespan than one had thought of.

(All this talk about Cardia was torture to herself, I feel bad for her D:)

And thus, since Idea was greatly fond of Fran’s talents, they wanted to offer him to become a member of the organisation, an apostle just like what Saint had become.

Fran was shocked and wondered if this was an order, to which Idea informed him that if Fran was to choose to join them, he would be granted immortality, and he would get eternal life with Cardia this way. Obviously, this offer was very attractive to Fran, but Saint quickly stepped in and asked Omnibus to warn him about the consequences if he were to choose to become an apostle.

In exchange for Fran’s immortality, he would have to dedicate his entire existence to Idea and carried out their orders, which was usually to kill others to remove their humanity to bring peace and prevent disasters from happening. Fran now had two choices, to accept Idea’s offer and be able to spend eternity with Cardia or to keep on living as a human and die one day, leaving Cardia alone in the world. Fran was suspicious about Idea’s purging of whoever that might bring harm to the world, since if Cardia was deemed as someone harmful, she was also considered a target by them as well. Initially, Saint was ordered to remove Cardia’s existence but Saint had pleaded with them to spare Cardia’s life, and now that Fran had managed to suppress Cardia’ poison, they decided to let her continue with her life for now. But if the Horologium was to create poison again in the future, Idea would spare no mercy in killing her. (Damn, Idea just seems really bent on on “purging” Cardia this entire conversation actually, and they kept calling her the cursed daughter D:)

Fran asked for time to think about the offer and was ultimately given three days to make his decision. When Omnibus and Guinevere were gone, Saint apologised as he had wanted to help to shield them from Idea, so that they can continue to live happily and peacefully together. Turned out that rather than going to France which he claimed to, Saint had actually gone to plead with Omnibus all these while, asking for Idea not interfere with their lives. Cardia was glad that Saint had helped them to ask for this chance though, as both Fran and Cardia knew that they would have to face with this problem regarding Cardia’s immortality eventually.

(Yes, these two had gotten so strong after what had happened in the first game T////T)

The two returned back to the mansion, but Cardia found herself unable to sleep, thinking that even though the poison was gone from her, she only looked like a normal girl and was ultimately still....a monster. Fran joined her at the garden, later on, remarking that he was unable to sleep too, and looking at his smile, Cardia wondered why can he still smile at a time like this.

(Fran’s smile looks painful though T////T)

Fran admitted that he was worried, but he touched Cardia’s cheeks as always, assuring her that everything would be alright, but rather than worrying alone, he decided to stay by Cardia’s side instead. Cardia knew that Fran must be feeling more worried than her, but he was still so caring and warm towards her, which broke her mental defence and poured out to him that she was very frustrated and scared regarding this entire thing. She’s scared that she would end up destroying Fran’s future, her poison might come back someday and also losing Fran. Cardia realised that she had become weaker since, in the past, she was alright in spending nights alone by herself and being called a monster, but now... she could hardly bear the thought of landing herself in such a situation again.

Fran was serious as he assured her once again that everything will be fine, and that he would never ever let her be turned back into a monster, even after hundreds and thousands of years. But in midst of his words, Cardia could sense a little amount of uncertainty in his voice, but all she could do was to break into a sob in his arms, knowing that Fran had never even mentioned what would happen to him at all. As Fran comforted her and got her back to bed, Cardia wondered what Fran was thinking about actually, and what will he decided on in answering Omnibus... Fran could only tell Cardia that he was still thinking about it, promising her that when he came to a decision, he would inform her first before anyone else.

(I do like Fran’s determination here though, even though he had absolutely no idea what he should do at this point in time...)

The story continues on in Fran’s point of view. Two days had passed since Idea had offered the proposal to Fran, but what he had done till now was just comforting Cardia, and that was all he could do. Fran wondered what he was supposed to do, anxious to come to a conclusion before tomorrow evening. But he knew that there would be regrets regardless of whichever path he chose.

Just then, Saint appeared before him, noticing that Fran seems tired and sympathize his circumstances. Saint was considered a friend yet an enemy to Fran, since he had been acting secretly on behalf of Idea when he was with them, with orders to eliminate the Horologium, yet he did not. He told Saint that it was difficult to understand Idea’s prerogatives and he could not even forgive Omnibus for calling Cardia a “cursed” being. But, Fran was the most frustrated with himself, knowing that after all his efforts, he was still unable to mend Cardia. Saint encouraged Fran that he had actually done alot for her, by suppressing her poison, and teaching her about human warmth and learning to love others.

Fran had initially thought that as long as he could suppress Cardia’s poison, they would be able to move on with their lives happily, but they indeed have to think about Cardia’s lifespan. Though it might be like an average person’s lifespan, there was also a possibility of her living on for hundreds and thousands of years just like what Omnibus had deduced. But regardless the length, Fran was firm in his goal in never letting Cardia becoming a monster, and will do anything in order to make her happy.

He was about to come to a decision to join the Idea with Saint when the latter asked him whether Cardia was just a justification for him to reach a decision. Saint said that Cardia was a gentle and kind-hearted girl, which Fran should know better than others and wondered whether Fran was willing to spend an eternity bound to killing others for the sake of their future, and asked Fran whether doing that will make Cardia truly happy.

Fran was at a lost and claimed loudly what on earth should he do. Though Fran will make sure that everything will be fine as long as the two of them are together, he worried about what will happen when he dies, thinking about how Cardia will be left alone forever and ever without him, living in terror and wondering when her poison was going to come back and turn her back into a monster... Therefore, in order to prevent that from happening, Fran saw it as a must that he had to continue living, in order to make Cardia happy.

But Saint’s words soon brought Fran back to reality. What he had said was his own vision of happiness, as Fran had no idea whether what he had thought of was Cardia’s happiness. If Fran were to pass away in the future, Saint would offer to watch over Cardia as part of his job of surveilling, but honestly, Saint wondered what would Cardia’s idea of happiness be with Fran.

Even though Saint had tried to sound calm when he talked, Fran noticed a tint of anger in his voice. Saint warned Fran that eternity was far too long to be spent alone, making Fran wondered how long did Saint had lived, or how many missions he had done for Idea. Saint remarked that how he would be seeing them passing away one by one in the future, and when that time arrives, he would occasionally remember the days that they’ve spent happily together, and continue to live on with that. That would be the pain that Fran would have to bear if he chooses to go on this path, and Saint continued on that perhaps it was a blessing that he himself does not know of love, and thus he won’t have to bear this type of pain. (I feel abit bad for Saint when he said he doesn’t know love though TWT) Saint’s wish was that both Fran and Cardia would be able to remain as they are, and said that though a human’s life may be short when compared to the apostles of Idea, it would still be longer than what Fran had thought to be, claiming that the decades Fran had ahead of him would be enough for him to struggle through.

Thanks to Saint’s insight, Fran’s troubles seem to have cleared as he thanked him for his help. To that, Saint simply smiled and disappeared. Fran knew that Saint initially have no intention on talking about himself or his past, but he decided to, in the end, seeing that he trusted Fran enough, and had viewed him as a friend. The two paths Fran had in front of him, he decided that it was all too early for him to choose either path yet.

Back on Cardia’s side, everything was as per normal, though she realised that she wasn’t feeling hungry and came to a revelation once again that she’s inhuman as she doesn’t need to eat to survive. She worried about herself becoming a monster once Fran was gone, though she knew that Fran swore that he would never let her become a monster and promised that she would never be alone too again. She wondered how Fran was going to carry out these promises, and knowing that she would be robbing Fran of a natural future, she’s not happy about it. Cardia could not bear the thought of sweet and kind Fran becoming an apostle and killing people an eternity.

In the end, Cardia decided to go on a walk with Sisi to clear her head, and along the way, she noticed many royal guards and met up with Leonhardt, who explained that the Queen will be at the Royal Society today. Seems like Victoria likes to roam the city more nowadays since she felt that going out will aid her to gain more wisdom rather than staying cooped up in the palace.

Suddenly, Leonhardt apologised to her, especially for his actions against them as the Zicterium facility where they had confronted the Queen. Cardia forgave him, saying that they have very opposing beliefs at that time, but Leonhardt still felt bad about pulling his blade against her and hoped that she will accept his apology... as well as gratitude, since Cardia and Fran had helped prevent the Queen and Leonhardt himself from making a drastic mistake, smiling as he claimed that their actions had helped in creating the future of Britain.

(Leonhardt’s smile was just too dazzling here~ +W+)

Leonhardt’s smile as he showed his confidence in the future made Cardia turned away as she found herself unable to face him, muttering that she found him amazing to be so positive about the future without any proof, and had, in fact, felt jealous about it. I really like Leonhardt’s answer towards Cardia so I’ll just let him say it below:

Leonhardt’s words reminded Cardia of the times when Fran had strived to save her life, even at the cost of his own life, and that because she had trusted and believed in him, they were all able to live today. Cardia decided that she shall be the one to help Fran and told him what he had told her before when he was suffering alone now, rather than relying on him to comfort her. And off she went to find Fran immediately, with Leonhardt chasing after her to stop her as Fran and the Queen were still in the middle of an important conference.

At that moment, Fran and Queen were discussing in the conference, which Victoria felt reassured that things would be able to proceed even more smoothly now that Fran had come back to the Royal Society. She noticed that he lacked confidence, and wondered what were his troubles about.

However, before Fran could reply, Cardia rushed into the room and ended pushing Fran to the floor, asking him what was he going to do about Idea. Since Fran had said before that Cardia could find him at work, Cardia decided to do that since she can’t wait even a moment longer to hear Fran’s answer. Cardia revealed her wish to Fran - she didn’t want him to join Idea and kill people just to secure her future, even if she does want a future together with him.

(Awww~ I just love this point of view from Cardia <3 Even Fran’s glasses got knocked off by the impact XD)

It was then Fran realised that his thoughts were different on what Cardia had wanted for her happiness since he had wanted to become an apostle at Idea if that was what it takes to prevent Cardia from weeping in agony and desperate for him when he wasn’t around anymore. In the end, if the future isn’t one that they would smile together, Fran guessed that it isn’t even one that they should consider. Cardia told Fran that she wanted to be the one to help Fran this time, by helping him to find the answer if he had yet to make up his mind, by finding a third path if either of those options will make either of them miserable.

(I know this was a joke by Fran, but erm... it would be scary if it’s true~)

(Confession time again~! >/////<)

Fran got up and complimented that Cardia was indeed a strong yet kind-hearted girl, and that was why he loves her, as he embraced her. He revealed that he just wanted to have a normal life with her, and doesn’t really care about maintaining the order in world history, and had made his final decision, which Cardia doesn’t have to worry about.

Victoria interrupted them at this moment since she found it boring to be on the sidelines, though she’s glad to have witnessed this interesting scenario of Cardia pushing Fran to the floor.

(Haha, Victoria’s teasing ended up making Fran blushed XD)

However, since Queen Victoria had heard about them talking about Idea, she was interested and wanted to know more about it, especially since she heard that they were involved in maintaining world history, though she also offered them help if they required it against Idea. Fran decided to reveal what they had learned about Idea (with some omissions though), and while they were grateful for Victoria’s offer to help them, they decided to face this problem by themselves, making a promise to report to her when this fiesta was over.

It’s finally the night that Fran had to give his answer to Omnibus, though until the last hours, they've yet to prepare their best response. Fran had an idea though and asked Cardia to trust him, even though what he was proposing was going to be abit of a gamble.

Saint met up with them later on and brought them to the same bridge again. Fran was worried about what will happen to Saint since his actions already proved to Idea that he’s biased to them, which Saint replied that he would be fine since he would have been eliminated long ago if it had been that bad. Saint wondered what was the odds of winning in Fran’s “gamble”, which Fran answered he had no idea, but he isn’t going to give up on this possibility.

Sensing that Cardia seems nervous and afraid, Fran could only hold onto her hand, but that was already more reassuring that any words in Cardia’s heart ^////^

Omnibus and Guinevere soon appeared, asking for the decision to be made. Cardia could sense that the atmosphere had changed, with Fran motioning her to stand behind him while glaring at Omnibus, and even Saint’s intent to kill was exuding even though he had yet to draw his blade.

Fran told Omnibus that the offer of being grant immortality was very appealing, and Omnibus urged him to accept it, even offering to grant him a wish of staying alongside with Cardia if he chooses to join Idea. But, even though Fran wishes to stay with Cardia and live with her, what he meant was the opposite of what Omnibus had expected. He had decided not to join Idea and just wanted to live his life with her since Cardia doesn’t wish for Fran to take the lives of others for the sake of their future together. The options for Fran were to either cease his humanity to gain an eternity with Cardia, or to erase Cardia’s existence since Idea still sees her as a threat, but both options were not what Fran had wanted, and thus he’s going to aim for another future that they had wished for.

Omnibus warned Fran again about Cardia having the possibility of reverting to a monster, which Fran promised that it would not happen as long as he was still living, swearing to protect her at all costs. Since the offer was being rejected, Idea might have to attack Fran and Cardia, but Saint warned Guinevere from getting any closer, as Fran had yet to make his offer to Omnibus.

Since Omnibus had praised Fran of his talents, Fran wondered perhaps he would be able to fully understand the Horologium within his lifespan, as he had already been able to suppress the Horologium’s production of poison completely within a year. Thus, he pleaded for Omnibus to give him time, until his death to fully analyze Horologium, though it was not to completely removing the poison from Cardia but instead ensuring that her lifespan would be similar of a human, with Cardia agreeing on shortening her lifespan voluntarily. This was after the discussion Cardia had with Fran - rather than him sacrificing his humanity to be with her, she wanted to be changed into a complete human being instead. If Fran had failed in his research to shorten Cardia’s lifespan, she asked for Idea to come and take her life away when Fran had passed away. Fran had made this proposal as a test for himself so that he could test his own potential in alchemy. He vowed to search for a way to make Cardia a human so that she will never become a monster again.

However, Omnibus remarked that she could not see such a future working out for them, and the proposal does not guarantee peace for the world, and thus she could not accept it. With that said, Idea still viewed Cardia as a target and decided to eliminate her...

Omnibus even asked for Cardia to give up her life for the sake of peace, but Cardia just wanted to live with Fran and rejected her order. (Seriously who would actually do that =w=“)

Idea started to summon other apostles to fight against Saint, Fran and Cardia, up to eight of them which surprised Saint since he had never seen an incident which requires that many Apostles. (But that’s just how serious Idea had viewed this situation D:)

Though they were outnumbered, Saint isn’t willing to bow down without a fight, and even Cardia offered to help too, though she won’t be able to use her poison as an advantage anymore. However, suddenly there was the sound of gunshots in the air, and guess who’s here to save the day?!

Yep, it’s the rest of the gang! Saint revealed that he had actually called for them beforehand and brought them here so that they could come and give Fran and Cardia a hand when the situation calls for it. Cardia felt relieved and reassured since the appearance of her friends made the atmosphere much lighter.

(Saint was indeed in a difficult position, but I admire his courage to create a different path for his friends, even if it meant defying Idea’s orders though he isn’t planning on betraying them.)

Lupin’s gang doesn’t really believe much in helping the world in getting on the right path, all they cared now was to grant Cardia’s and Fran’s happiness since the two of them had worked so hard trying to attain them.

(I can’t help to fangirl abit over Lupin here. That was so cool coming from him! >////<)

Omnibus turned to Cardia, telling her that she foresees her future to be a path full of endless suffering, but asked even if that was the case, would she wish the happiness of being a human to herself. Of course, Cardia wanted that, saying that she will be happy, as long as she was with Fran, and she believed that Fran would do what he had promised.

(I just love this part where Cardia tell the old lady off~ No one can decide on one’s future other than themselves! Sounds like Impey fell in love with Cardia all over again ^^;)

In the end, Omnibus decided to give up and gave Fran and Cardia a chance in paving for the future they wanted for, telling them that they shall put their current plan on hold and see how things will turn out. Cardia was glad that Idea had decided to give them a chance and believing in them.

(After pretty much being cold to Cardia the entire story, the old lady finally called her by her name and even smiled... Whew!)

As Idea left, the sun shined and it was another brand new day. Seems like they were saved (for now), and now Cardia and Fran can be together forever~ ^////^ The rest of the group pounced onto them, hugging and congratulating them. (Awww~) Cardia was thankful for the group showing up since, without them, the results of Fran’s proposal might end up differently.

(I love the scenery of the morning sun, especially with Fran’s close up face in it~ ^//////^)

After some sweet talk between the couple, they kissed in front of their friends, with Van automatically covering Dora-chan’s eyes so he didn’t get to see them. (I guess this was still too early for Dora-chan XD) (And poor Impey feeling his jealousy fuming when he saw Fran kissing Cardia XD)

A week later, things were back to normal, with the rest of the group soon left to fulfil their life goals, and Cardia doing her housework at home with Sisi, waiting for Fran to return every day.

Fran had reported to Queen Victoria about Idea as promised, and she was relieved to see both of them were safe and sound after the confrontation. Fran requested for an assistant to help him with the lab work since now he had yet another task (analyzing the Horologium) other than his daily duties as an alchemist. The Queen smiled and agreed, asking for the “new” assistant to make an appearance, and that person was none other than Cardia~! That really surprised Fran as Victoria explained that it was actually Cardia who had suggested it since she wanted to be of use to Fran, and... since Fran’s research would revolve around the Horologium now, she felt she should be around, though the real reason was because she wanted to be close to Fran too XD Fran thanked them while Victoria replied that she’s glad that her subjects had found happiness. Cardia wanted Victoria to find her own happiness as well, and her words took Victoria by surprise that she guessed that she shall search for her own happiness when things were more settled.

(I feel that Victoria was hinting something at Leonhardt here, but too bad the guy didn’t get it =w=“)

Fran and Cardia left the palace together after that, with Fran still feeling surprised as he had never dreamt that they would be able to work together, with Cardia being his assistant. Cardia felt that she still lacks in knowledge, but she was determined to study more to help Fran as much as possible, and Fran smiled as he told her that she will be a great assistant.

With Fran leading the way, they ended up in front of a church. (It’s a beautiful church~) Fran told Cardia that he had something he wanted to tell her today, and taught her that a church is a place for taking vows of love. He wanted to swear an oath of love to her and vowed that they shall live their lives as a couple and find happiness together.

(I love Fran’s words here, regardless of what had happened in the past, we should always try to accept it and move on...)

(Cardia’s smile here is so adorable, I’m so glad that she found her own happiness here finally in the end ~ T/////T)

In the end, they exchanged vows as a couple and kisses at the church, with Fran promising Cardia that he shall love her with his all, forever and ever. The end~

Final Thoughts / Ramblings:

I’m so happy and touched to finish this route on the fan disc, so glad that everything turns out to be alright in the end T////T A part of me still wanted some more lovey-dovey moments though since most of the route was like bitter and sad moments D: I love Fran even more after this, he’s not a strong character, but he really works hard and tried his very best to give Cardia happiness the most he can. Most of the time I’m already touched by Fran’s feelings and motivation, rather than what he had actually done, guess it’s the thoughts that count? Fran is seriously like an angel, how can a guy be so kind seriously~ T/////T

PS: Felt that Saint was such a great pal to be, seriously without him, there may not be a happy ending for Fran and Cardia, so thank you so much, Saint~
