“Welcome,” by Michelle Lynn, 2019
ISO 320 f22 @ 1/60
A small dingy barn or shack sits peacefully out in the distance of a barren field. With open doors it draws us in. It’s far away in the middle ground. Perhaps worth the walk through the low dead grasses that fill the field.

Nikon D850
I am the professor of Foundations of Digital Photography at COD. The Nikon D850 is my current camera. I love my camera but it is very heavy. I really want a mirrorless camera but they are so expensive!

All blog posts of photos should look like this. Take note of the punctuation (the comma goes inside the quote). Make sure to tag the photo as directed in the prompt.
All comments are directed by blog prompts. Make sure to capitalize the beginning of sentences and the word “i” should be capitalized (I). Be clear and concise but also try to entice the viewer.
So for this image I might say:
I hope you feel a sense of doom when you look at this photo of a dark ominous room. What is beyond this door? Do you feel a ghostly presence?

“You Caught Me”, Portrait Assignment
ISO 400, f2.4 @ 1/125
It must be chilly outside, since this woman is wearing a coat and bulky scarf. I am wondering if someone interrupted her as she was going to shoot since her face is turned towards the photographer/camera? She seems to be smiling, so perhaps the interruption was not unwarranted. She has a stable stance with her legs apart and firmly planted on the ground below. The ground is covered with dead leaves and the trees look bare. What she is photographing is not clear. Perhaps something caught her eye in this forest scene.
