Simply put Jamie's job as a striker was to indiscriminately score as many soccer goals as he could for the team that was paying him, which was what he was doing. Rebecca's job as the owner of Richmond was to try to make decisions that would help Richmond win their soccer games, which was the opposite of what she was doing

I don't think it's fair to hold the relegation against Jamie. He was just playing the game. It would be unprofessional to purposely not score because he felt bad for Ted

Well, Richmond was never like a high-ranking club to begin with, so I don't know if Rebecca TANKED them necessarily, but her shenanigans definitely played a role in their flop era. Their being relegated for example was a direct result of her sending Jamie back to City

Also hiring Ted in the first place was an act of sabotage on Rebecca's part, so any failures they had due to Ted not knowing anything about the sport were also on Rebecca. I don't think it'd be fair to say that it was all Ted's fault and not Rebecca's when Ted himself was Rebecca's fault haha

I really don't think it was the team's fault though. Idk if that's unpopular. The fact that they mastered total football + started kicking ass with it so quickly tells me that the players themselves are actually VERY talented (like unrealistically so) and have always had the capacity to go far with good coaching/strategy

Jamie is the only one who has his first name written on his card in TSTBU and I choose to believe that it's because Roy wrote the cards and he subconsciously started thinking of Jamie as a friend after Amsterdam

i LOVED roykeeley. and tbh i wouldn’t have been upset if they were endgame BUT!!!! they are a messy couple with flaws and shit and that’s why they were so compelling as a couple. it 100% made sense that they broke up.

How do you feel about TedRebecca and/or their shippers?

PERSONALLY (and I know this is very subjective, so I'm not saying this is The Truth, just sharing my own thoughts), I didn't really feel any romantic/sexual chemistry between T&R, and I never got into the pairing for that reason. I don't remember ever seeing them together and thinking they looked like they were going to kiss, or like they were checking each other out, or anything like that. If you compare Rebecca interacting with the Dutch pilot (who she was very obviously attracted to) and Rebecca interacting with Ted, it's like night and day. They were obviously very important to each other and there was a lot of love and affection there, but I see them more as friends because I didn't feel like there was much of a romantic vibe. Friendships can be profound and important, too!!

I used to be annoyed by the shippers but after the finale fakeout I started to really empathize with them, because I was queerbaited by destiel to the point of mental illness and I know that feeling. They don't bother me, I've curated my spaces so well that I've never come into contact with one on accident
