She quickly took a few steps back from the window, knowing what he was about to do. He could be so reckless sometimes! "Well my knight, try to be-" Before she could finish her sentence, he was already jumping from the branch and over to her window sill. She gasped, covering her mouth. Thankfully he landed without a problem and was then standing in her room. She let out a sigh of relief, letting her hands drop from her mouth.

She rolled her green eyes, smiling up at him slightly. "Yes well, I wish I could say the same for you Dave." She said, her tone a little sad while she talked. Her mood changed though when he questioned where she wanted to go. "Hmm." She tapped her chin thoughtfully, her other arm laying across her chest as she walked around her room in a small circle. "Well it's too late for any shops or anything to be open so how about a midnight stroll around the town?" She asked, smiling widely. She had stopped pacing, standing in front of him again.

Jail Break

She watched as he climbed up the tree, resembling a chimp. She giggled, tilting her head in her hand. “Don’t be mean Dave. You wouldn’t leave a princess alone in her tower would you?” She asked with a pout, dramatically sniffling. Jade then chuckled, hoisting herself up onto the window ledge. She hesitated, obviously nervous about moving over to the tree branch.

Jade sat there, chewing on her bottom lip nervously. Did she really have to take the tree? Yes okay that seemed to be the only way down but that didn’t make it seem anymore like a good idea. “Don’t laugh at me Dave but I’m honestly afraid to come over to you.” She said sheepishly, giving him one of her lopsided smiles. It was dark out by now, the only light the glow of the moon that reflected in her green eyes, making her pale skin seem angelic and gentle.

Jade had grown bored, well more bored, and sat on her bed. She rest her chin in the palms of her hands, sighing slightly. How long did it take for Dave to get over here? He was probably getting ready still. She rolled her green orbs at the thought. Always trying to keep up with appearances, always having to look his very best. It made Jade a little sad. When they were little he was much different. He’d play with her whenever she wanted, no matter how dirty his clothes would get or how angry his parents would be with him.

Now though, well…they were older, and there wasn’t much time for being kids anymore. Thanks to Jade’s family’s standing in society, Dave was allowed to see her, but…she couldn’t help but wonder if she was just some ordinary girl, no money, no famous parents…would Dave still be her friend? He had become so cold lately, only seeming to ever care about besting Sollux and keeping up his high status in society.

The sound of something hard hitting her window made Jade jump with a soft squeal of surprise, instantly sitting up. She looked over at the window in confusion, and then realized it was Dave. Okay, time to stop thinking about all of that sad stuff! She smiled widely, quickly going over to the window and opening it up. Sure enough, there was Dave standing in her yard. “Took you long enough.” She teased him with a smile, leaning out the window. The question now, was how she was going to get down to him? Jump? Yeah okay hahaha no.

*You find yourself blushing slightly in embarrassment, looking away stubbornly.*

After about thirty minutes of frustrating huffs and yanking, she finally managed to get out of the poofy monstrosity. She sighed with relief, letting her hair out of the high and overly styled bun it was in. She shook her head, running her fingers through her long black locks, walking over to her wardrobe. Time to get dressed.

She had almost forgotten how comfortable normal clothes were. No stupid corset to squeeze the air out of her, no heavy skirt fence thing to make her feel like a bell. She sat at her vanity, braiding her hair into a thick side braid that draped over her right shoulder. True, she wasn’t much of a girly girl but Jade couldn’t help but put on a little make up and perfume. Just because it was Dave-…Well because it was Dave, she wanted to look nice. Slipping on a pair of shoes and standing up, She waited for her knight in shining armor to come rescue her from this prison.

*You scoff, rolling your eyes at the very thought of you ever being considered a beauty.*

pa-lease miss megido! glasses, buck teeth and the need to make absurd experiments doesnt really qualify as "pretty" qualities in a girl. :P
