Danny Phantom Joins the Justice League with limitations. For the most part, they only call him to task for world ending threats, but he’s often spotted around the watch tower because it’s SPACE!
Anyway, Danny is in College by now he just finished midterms from hell and is basically a walking zombie. He’s at the watch tower because they have the best snacks and there’s also something horribly therapeutic about sleeping in space (clockwork says every king is assigned a domain and Danny’s is space so maybe that’s why. he’s also been in love with space as a whole since he first looked up at the night sky so maybe it’s some combination of both?)
So Danny’s shuffling along in his human form munching on some space snacks (because if there’s one thing the green lanturns are absolutely good for it’s providing none earth foods and Danny’s addicted to some of them) when the lights flicker. It’s only a moment, nothing too concerning. It was probably a solar flare. Danny ignores it, just like he ignores the whisp of smoke that came out of his mouth because space was always cold and what ghost would be dumb enough to fight him up here?
In Space.
Aka in King Phantom’s Domain?
….Skulker apparently.
But Danny is tired. Midterms from hell, remember? he steps into the conference room where all out war was taking place as this unknown entity apparently ripped a hole through reality to fight half the present members of the JL who are sorta kinda losing.
Danny takes one long look, contemplates turning around and leaving, before shooting single ectoblast that launched skulker into the wall.
The room goes quiet as they stare at Danny. From pst battles they know that little attack wasn’t even a fraction of his full power but it was still enough to take down this ghost even supers was struggling with?
“Skulker,” Danny says in greeting before crossing the room, clawing his own hole into the realms and tossing the ghost in. He sighs, debates stealing Batman’s coffee, decides against it ,and then nods to the rest of his team.
“Imma go sleep for a week. Kindly don’t need me unless the government tries to send another nuke into the infinite realms or if some other Eldritch abomination threats to literally eat the earth.”
The rest watch Danny walk away, but it’s the flash who speaks up first after their youngest departed.
“I’m sorry, when exactly did the government try to nuke an alternate dimension and why were we never informed of this?”

Lady Gotham: Ghost King
...so I've fallen down the DP x DC rabbithole (I fell down ages ago). I've seen a lot of fics that personify Gotham. Lady Gotham and Danny interact in these stories in various ways. There are a lot of Ghost King Danny stories in this fandom.
I had a thought. What if Lady Gotham fought Danny at a weak point, or maybe caught him by surprise (since in these stories she's usually pretty weak), and she became Ghost King? Of course she could also be really powerful, but anyone fighting the Ghost King would run into trouble so I feel like it would take special circumstances for her to defeat Danny. What would her kingship do to Gotham (the city)? What would that do to the Realms?
Just a thought.

Once more, Dredge Inspiration, because I am weak.
See, the Realms may be Infinite, but Amity? Definitely not. So all that energy has to go somewhere- sinks into the cracks and into the ground and air and waters in the city and around it. And then? Not only is there ambient energy, but then literal Ancients come through.
Great storms and earthquakes tearing through the already cracked and ecto-soaked ground. According to official records? Amity Park sank into a sinkhole after a series of heavy flooding after several natural disasters.
Which sure, there was a sinkhole, but they sure as fuck wouldn’t have sank if there wasn’t a damn ghost shield up thanks to the GIW. It would have taken at least several more years for most to get ecto-contaminated as much as they were, but no, let’s add a shield that prevents the ecto from leaving and instead bounces it right back into the city.
So perhaps the people start becoming a bit off. Perhaps there’s some parts of the Pit that has grown sentient, living and vicious in possessively protecting the people inside. So maybe it’s infected people, slowly dragging them farther away from humanity. So maybe the entire class can no longer be counted as human.
It’s fine. It’s okay. Everything is fine and safe and no one can get inside, even if they can’t leave. So what if they can’t recall how long the barrier has been up? So what if the people who aren’t becoming liminal are becoming sick? That’s fine, they don’t need help… right?

DPxDC prompt: Fixing Talía Al Ghul
I think I came up with an idea how to “fix” Talía and sort of retcon the questionable shit she did. It would only work in the DPxDC universe though, but it’s something.
She was possessed by a ghost. It was just a weak shade, but it was formed from an amalgamation of Ra’s former enemies and their vengeful emotions when they were killed by the Demon Head. Their unified obsession is destruction of Ra’s legacy, which includes not only the League of Assassins, but also Talia, Bruce and Damian.
It was a sneaky ghost, taking only a bit of control of Talía by… whispering ideas and thoughts. And that ghost rooted themselves so deep in Talía that they believed themselves to be Talía, part of her subconscious, her darker intrusive thoughts, her self-destructive tendencies.
They’re sort of like Dr. Octavius’ tentacles from Spider Man movies.
The possession started some time after she brought Jason to the league after he dug himself out of the grave. It started subtle and weak at first. The ghost tried to plant malicious ideas into Talía’s head. Starting with suggestions of *molesting* still catatonic (and still a minor at the time) Jason. But those Talía managed to resist since she still viewed Jason as her beloved’s son. As her own son basically.
But, due to close proximity of the Lazarus pit (that tends to drive people mad by just being in presence of it and breathing in its fumes), her will weakened every day with the ghost’s continuous assault on her mind, and she became more susceptible to ideas.
At first it was her decisions to send Damian to Bruce and let Ra’s unleash Jason’s vengeful wrath upon Gotham. She agreed with ideas planted in her head. She questioned them at first and doubted her own thoughts.
But when she made a clone of Damian, her will was so weakened that she no longer doubted that the thoughts in her head were hers, because the ghost already firmly planted themselves in her head.
But there were moments, brief and rare, where she would question herself and be terrified by what she’s doing, until it would be snuffed out by the ghost.
Basically Talía ended up with a dual personality disorder, in which one part genuinely wanted to protect her family, and the other destroy it.
And when Danny will encounter her for the first time, he’ll be able to know she is being possessed and has been possessed for a long time. If we go with the version where Danny joined the Batfamily and heard both bad and good, fond opinions of Talía, he will go out of his way to save her.
Talía will fight back, but, with help of the Batfam (preferably Bruce and Damian), eventually Danny would phase into her body and get the ghost out.
And it will result in this: Talia crumbles to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she whispers “It’s… so quiet… I’ve forgotten what silence sounds like…” and then the horror of her actions gets to her and she breaks down in front of Bruce and Damian, apologizing for everything she did.
(Give me good or at least decent person/lover/mother Talía Al Ghul that genuinely tries!)

Clark got an invite to visit is cousin Maddie in Amity park! He always enjoys visiting them. Its a wild time, Maddie's kids are nice, and he gets to be the coolest cousin in the world. Impressing his little cousins with tricks that could only be explained by magic (he has litteraly crushed a rock to dust to make is "disapear").
But when he arrives this time, maybe bringing a few friends with him (i imagine the main group is Bruce, Clark, Lous, and maybe Damian, Tim, Conner, and Jon), the Town is chaos. Rouge government agents running around, magic undead creatures wreaking Havoc, and a young superhero barely holding it together. Even worse, Maddie and her husband seem so wrapped up in their work that they don't even notice their kids half the time! AND WHY DOES DANNY FORGET TO BREATH????!?!?!?!?!?
