I can't believe I watched 327 episodes of supernatural only for my favorite character to be a guy who shows up in 5 of them.

MIDAMVERSARY

i'm sure this has already been pointed out but in s15e08 when adam and michael are reintroduced the parallel between chuck and michael interacting with a waitress drives me insane.

at the beginning of the episode, you see chuck interacting with the waitress serving him. he's threatening her, forcing her to do his bidding, and has killed everyone else in the casino. chuck is using his incomprehensible amount of power to not only achieve minuscule tasks, but to scare and kill humans while doing it. he's a ruthless overlord who knows how to humiliate and torture humans and takes pleasure in it.

but then you get to michael and adam's scene in the diner. while adam is in control, naturally he is caring towards his waitress and humans around him. even after over 1200 years in the deepest parts of hell, adam still has his humanity. he hasn't lost that; in fact, he only taught what humanity means to his counterpart, michael. while michael is in control of the body, he smites lilith. and while we know he has the ability to do that to every human in the diner as well, it's probably even easier to do, michael saves every single life in that diner. he goes out of his way to protect every human there and to only erase their memory of the smite, instead of simply killing everyone around and hiding all evidence he was ever there in the first place.

michael saves humans even at an inconvenience, while chuck deliberately goes out of his way to harm them. michael has grown far away from who he used to be, chuck's perfect son.

alright i know people have that headcanon that Adam wouldn't let Michael just use his angelic powers to money cheat their way through life but like as someone who grew up single parent poor I'm sorry I can't accept that Lmaoooooo Like Adam legit went through childhood afraid to say he was hungry because he knew his mom could barely afford dinner I like to think he was telling Michael about how scared he is to go back to society because he was scared to feel the pressure he did when he was younger and Michael just pulls out a credit card behind his back like here, from a gift from Heaven. and Adams like, wtf this doesn't even have the right number of numbers on it and Michaels like go on. Try it. And so Adam gets an entire armful of sour candy at the gas station and it. Just Works. No one knows how, the Winchesters try to track it and it goes to nothing, the bank listed on it doesn't even exist, Adam *thinks* the way it works is it litterally shorts out the card reader into submission but he doesn't know. The Archangel in his brain won't tell him. Michael seems oddly pleased with himself.

Literally the only destiel proof I need is the scene where lucifer mimics how Cas speaks to Dean and it’s just an immediate switch into poor little meow meow vibes with the big puppy dog eyes

i think it is so important that when adam was talking about getting a job, he said, "we're gonna have expenses." him and michael were going to have expenses, and adam needed to get a job to pay for them. it's important because, in reality, they weren't going to have expenses. michael stopped all of adam's human needs for food and water, and there wasn't a need for a house when michael could fly them anywhere in the world and adam didn't need sleep, but noooo, adam wanted to live a domestic little human life with michael, and he was going to work for it.

reminder that adam got locked in that room because he was staring at michael instead of running.

Michael smiling for Adam only really melts my heart. Adam wouldn't even say anything about it, just appreciate it in the inside. They're so in love :')
