Today's sketch a day submission, and the final sketch for the 2019 sketch a day challenge: the Porsche 917K. An absolute titan in the automotive world and one of the most famous, most feared, and most admired Porsches ever created, it is a great way to end the collection of Porsche sketches, and an amazing end to an entire year of car sketches.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been following along during this journey. Whether you've been following from the first day or you've discovered my blog a few days ago, I genuinely appreciate all your likes, comments, and messages throughout the year. This has been a lot of work, but it's also been a lot of fun; I'd like to think my skills have improved throughout the year.
I've got a few things planned for the new year so stayed tuned, but in the meantime thanks again for following along, and of course all the very best to you and yours for 2020.

Today's sketch a day submission: the Porsche 914. Another underappreciated little wonder from the good folks in Stuttgart, the mid-engined 914 is the forgotten predecessor of the modern day Porsche Boxster.
Fun fact: Porsche engineers built a road-legal 914 with a detuned 908 flat 8 cylinder engine as a 60th birthday gift for Ferry Porsche. He felt the car was too powerful for road use and never drove it. It currently resides in the Porsche Museum.

New week, but this time we come back around to Porsche, the brand I stared with on January 1st, 2019. Today's sketch a day submission: the Porsche 944 Turbo. Arguably one of the most underappreciated Porsche models, this car is definitely a formidable machine, especially in turbocharged format.

Today’s sketch a day submission: the Packard Predictor. One of Packard’s final show cars before their unfortunate demise, this absolute stunner is a fitting end to a week of awesome Packard vehicles.

Today's sketch a day submission: the Packard Hawk. Considered one of the sportiest if all Packard vehicles ever built, the Hawk's styling was definitely controversial to say the least. Personally I think it's kinda cool.

Today's sketch a day submission: the Packard Station Sedan. I'd like to think if Santa Claus drove a Packard, this would be his choice of transit on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone!

Today's sketch a day submission: the Austin Mini Cooper S Mk1. There's nothing I can say about the original Mini that hasn't already been said a thousand times. Packaging masterpiece, incredible handling, and mind numbingly fun to drive, it's the perfect end to a week of great automobiles from Austin.

Today's sketch a day submission: the Austin A40 Sports. A collaboration between Austin and Jensen, this cute little car looked great but had trouble maintaining 60mph. And it took 26 seconds to there there too! I guess customer expectations were a bit lower back then. . . View on Instagram https://ift.tt/35O3agT

New week and a new brand! Today's sketch a day submission: the Austin-Healey 3000. Affectionately referred to as "the big Healey", this is an absolute classic with respect to proper British sports car design.
