Chapter 20: Legacy of Magic
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Fantasy Au
Warnings: Racial slurs, discrimination, torcher, death, murder, mentions of enslavement, kidnapping, mentions of suicide, attempted suicide.
Word Count: 1.2K
Summary: There have always been tales of creatures in the world, all described in different ways. Some labeled as ruthless, others heroic, or even powerful. The world is filled with magic of all types and monsters of every kind. But there are whispers of family so great they could rival the heavens if tempted. A Legacy grown from love, heartache, and magic.
Tumblr media
It all happened so sudden, it came from nowhere. Like Fate had snapped and the world around them stopped. The Warlock had given up and stood on the beach that was once filled with footprints of his family and now remained smooth and untouched. He was ready to meet his end for he was empty and broken, but as soon as he touched into the water to meet his demise it sucked him under.
The Warlock then found himself in a chair in front of a man he’s only seen in paintings, the man looked at him coldly as he sipped on his tea. “You chose the end instead of fixing things with my pupil?” The Wizard scoffs, The Wizard's words felt like a splash of cold water to the face.
“She has suffered, and grieved, and endured all your heartache still waiting for you.” The Wizard growls, “AND YOU CHOSE TO END YOUR LIFE RATHER THAN FIND HER! YOUR SONS AS WELL! WHAT WOULD THEY HAVE FELT TO KNOW THEIR FATHER, A WARLOCK OF HIS TIME, WAS A COWARD AND CHOSE TO END HIS LIFE RATHER THAN FIGHT FOR THEM!” The Wizard yelled.
“WHAT FOOLISH GOD GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO HAVE HER, TO HAVE YOUR SONS WHEN THIS IS HOW YOU RESPOND TO SUCH A FOOLISH PROBLEM! SHE CAME TO ME IN TEARS BECAUSE OF YOUR WRONG DOING AND I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO LEAVE THIS REALM WITHOUT FIXING THE PROBLEMS YOU STARTED!” The Wizard continues, his face beat red in anger. It was at this point The Warlock had tears in his eyes. He buries his head into hands and pulls at his blue locks.
The Wizard suddenly goes quiet, unbeknownst to The Warlock the Wizard is suddenly very aware of all his emotions. Every single one of them bare to him, “By the gods, you love her don’t you?” The Wizard scoffs. The Warlock didn’t need to say a word as The Wizard checked again, then again, then a fourth time before he let out a tired sigh and sank back into his seat.
“She loves you too, you know, and she’s here still waiting for whatever reason. Find her, keep her, because if she comes back to me for any reason you are going to wish I ended you now.” The Wizard groans. Namjoon found himself once again with no words to say, but this time he’d rather be damned than let it stay that way.
Namjoon stood so fast he knocked over his chair and he stumbled on it as he rushed to the nearest door. The Wizard rolls his eyes at the mess, with blink the mess is cleaned up again. The Wizard can feel The Warlock scurry around his castle, still feeling particularly vexing The Wizard will change the course of the halls away from his beloved pupil every time The Warlock gets too close.
However, after a while he finally allows The Warlock the right path. The Warlock stumbles into the room and The Witch who sat in a chair reading her book jumps. As soon as she sees his blue hair The Witch is up out of her seat and seconds away from snapping her fingers. The Warlock was unable to stop it however as her fingers connected nothing happened. The Wizard at the other end of the castle smirks on the edge of his tea cup.
Unable to use magic The Witch takes her chances and runs to the door however this time The Warlock is fast enough to stop her. The Witch screams, throwing her hands at him. As she does purple lightning tosses him across the room, once again the Wizard smirks.
War seems to break out from there as magic is tossed from one end of the room to the other, The Witch screaming profanities and insults of every kind as The Warlock begs for her to stop and listen. It seems to go on like that until they both fall to the floor exhausted of energy and magic.
“I’m sorry,” The Warlock spoke first, “I’m sorry for not being the man I was supposed to be. I’m sorry for being a spineless coward who would rather take his own life than fight for what was his. I’m sorry for being scared that I would scare you away with my position in the magical world. I’m sorry for being a terrible father to our children.” The Warlock lists in sobs.
“I love you (y/n), if you asked me for the stars I would do my damnedest to give you every last one. Even if it killed me,” He cries, The Witch said nothing as she inches her way over to him. “I love you so much that when I lost you I didn’t know what to do with myself, I lost all control on the world around me and myself that I felt like a waste of space to the world.” He continues.
The Warlock jumps as he feels soft hands cup his cheeks. He allowed them to guide his head up to meet purple tired blood-shot eyes that still looked as gorgeous as he last remembered and took his breath away.
The Warlock melts when her lips press to his, the two however jump when the ground below them becomes non-existent only to land on the bed of The Witch’s room within the castle. The Witch however couldn’t bring herself to care that her mentor is well aware of her intentions as she pulls Namjoon closer.
Soon enough clothes were torn away, gasps and moans filled the air as the sheets grew messy and tangled. When ecstasy came and went they were left to bask in the afterglow as The Witch laid on top of The Warlock. The Warlock has one arm warped around her as his other traced small shapes into her naked back while The Witch lays on one of hers as the other rests against The Warlock’s bare chest.
“Marry me,” The Warlock whispers, “Marry me and allow me to be with you for the rest of our lives, allow me to be a proper father to our sons, allow me to help you forge our Legacy of Magic,” He whispers, pressing his forehead to hers.
And they did, they married in the great hall of her Mentor’s estate for all to see, they lived long lives together with their sons who grew into their own legends along with their parents who had forged new ones.
There are whispers of a Man who is said to have a soul as deep as the ocean and wisdom that makes him just as old. There are whispers of a boy who is said to have the beauty beyond imagination but beware of his vexing streak, lustful cravings, with impish behavior. There are whispers of a warrior who cares not for glory or fame but the thrill of battle and carries the power of a god within a tiny necklace. There are whispers about the swamp of sorrows as it is home to creatures of all kinds, as well as her.
There are whispers of family that could rival the heavens should they choose. One of a Wizard who carries the weight of the universe on his shoulders, One of a Warlock that could command a whole race of magic, One of a Dragon as old as time, One of a Phoenix with a never ending life, One of a demon freed from the chains of hell, One of a Warrior who wields the power of a god, One of a Fae with royalty running thick in his veins, and One of a Witch who is a Goddess in the making. The Family that is a Legacy of Magic.

Chapter 19: Mentor

The group of four arrive and reappear with a giant snow covered castle in front of them, Snow all around them and quickly sticking to their hair. The Witch wastes no time pushing her way into the castle with her family behind her. “MENTOR!” She called into the stone castle, “(Y/N)!?” a voice shrieked in return.
The four males behind The Witch jumps and in a flare of sparks a man appears before them. He’s tall and has wide shoulders, his hair is dark but what makes him stand out is his pink robes and hat. “Mentor,” The Witch greets weakly, The happy smile is quickly wiped off his face and immediately becomes frighteningly serious.
“These are my sons, Jimin and Jungkook,” She smiles softly pushing them forward. “And this is Hoseok and Taehyung, my familiar and the boy’s guardian.” She continues. The man before them settles slightly but his face still shows concern.
“My name is Seokjin, The Wizard of the North, but you can call me grandpa Jin if you like.” The Wizard introduces. “I’m sorry I'm not more prepared, but it seems you came in a rush. Allow me to talk to my Pupil, you're free to roam the castle as you please.” Seokjin smiles. The four males say nothing and move away deeper into the castle.
As soon as they're out of sight The Witch throws herself at her mentor sobs echoing through the halls. The Wizard wraps his arms around her tightly and before The Witch knew any difference they were in another room.
“Would you like some Tea?” her mentor questions, The Witch’s heart constricts as more tears bubble up at the name of the drink. “Okay, no tea,” Her mentor mumbles, instead he places a crystal glass in front of her and uncorks a clear bottle filled with amber liquid. He pours half a cup before filling his own and sets the bottle off the side.
“So let's start with the bastard that broke my pupil’s heart,” Seokjin starts and it began, the long story that covers well over the last decade she’s lived without seeing him. Tears upon tears were spilled and glasses upon glasses were filled with the amber liquid. By the time the story ended her mentor is leathally silent.
The Witch had gotten her bad temper and vexing trait from her mentor, and she knows when her mentor is quiet, that's when one should really be frightened. The Witch jumps as her mentor stands abruptly, she is quick to follow him when she sees him walk to the door. “Please no! Please don’t harm him,” The Witch begs, “I SHOULD CURSE HIS ENTIRE BLOODLINE! HE LEFT YOU! WITH TWO SONS HE LEFT!” The Wizard yells.
The air around them suddenly became thin and the ground shook, The Witch’s legs buckled and she fell. However before her knees could touch the floor they touched a pillow first and air filled her lungs. “I’m sorry starlight,” The voice of her mentor rings right above her as his arms wrap around her. “I was so angry he hurt you that I had hurt you,” He whispers into her hair, “I love him,” The Witch whispers. “I love him,” She cries into his chest, “I know, it’s going to be alright.” Her mentor whispers.
To the West The Warlock is in no better shape. His beautiful home in shambles as water flooded from every corner and ruined all the wood, books, furniture. The Dragon familiar nowhere in sight, as he has boarded himself up in his hord and is not talking to his master out of spite.
The Warlock had felt like the world around him was falling apart, and there was a moment where the air in his lungs vanished and caused him to stumble to the floor. However, much to his disappointment, he lived. Everything seemed so broken and dull. There was no laughter bouncing off the walls, or the thumping of the floors from dancing, or the beautiful hums of a sweet voice that could chant curses just as easily.
It seemed the world had fallen apart for the family, and as the months went by it didn’t get better. The Warlock of The West went to the East often, hoping to find his family only to return to the West empty handed. The North two boys continued to grow with newly acquired mentorship of The Great Wizard of The North.
Jungkook’s magic proved to be powerful, so much in fact Taehyung offered himself up as the boy’s Familiar. With the help of his Mother Jungkook came into possession of a Familiar, one that Witch and Warlock could only dream of having.
Jimin grew into his magic as well, now able to grow trees decades old with only a flick of his wrist. His wings grew stronger as he could fly and perform tricks that rival his phoenix mentor.
The Witch of the East connects with her mentor as he continues to teach her as well as her boys. However everyone noticed that there was no longer a spark in her purple eyes as there once was.
Seokjin is a great Wizard, he’s lived hundreds of years and done things that rival gods. He had found The Witch as a young girl, she lived in a forest by herself and was unable to control her powers. She caused a constant lightning storm to hover over the forest she resigned in. Villagers nearby called him so they could reopen trade routes to feed their starving village. When the Wizard had entered the forests he didn’t expect to find a young girl causing the whole ordeal.
The Wizard took her under his wing, for she is far too powerful to be handled by an elite Witch or Warlock let alone a normal one. The girl was young when he had taken her under his wing, he not only had to teach her how to control her magic but had to teach her how to live life. In many ways Seokjin was (y/n)’s father rather than The Wizard of the North training a Witch pupil.
She took after him greatly, she learned how to use her magic in deals and dress fashionably. There are some things he’d rather her not have like his temper, but he supposes it comes with parenthood. A lesson The Witch grew up to know all too well with two sons.
In short, The Witch meant a great deal to the Wizard, and for her to show up years without seeing him in tears...It sparked something in Seokjin, Parental instincts that hadn’t been in use for a long time. The Wizard lost control of the power he possessed, a magic that makes the world stop, magic that makes time itself stop in its tracks and bends to his whim. That anger scares him and the part of him that cares for all life is scared even more, because the man who hurt his pupil will be on the other end of that magic and he knows for a fact it won’t be kind to him.

Seokjin can only hope this man pulls his act together soon, because he can only control the forces of his anger and magic for so long before he takes things into his own hands.

Chapter 18: Northbound

The Witch, her sons, the familiars, and Demon all sat at the table with the elder man who they’ve come to know as Council Member Yoon. The man is kind and he was all too excited to find out about each little member of their family. The Witch and Council Member chatted excitedly with one another without much care.
The Warlock in question however, made his rounds, but he didn’t have a smile that made his dimples sink in like everyone knew him for. No one dared ask why the Head Council Member looked as if he would kill someone if tempted to do so.
It wasn’t too long after the family arrived did the celebration actually start, the music picked up and pairs took the floor to dance. Council Member Yoon and The Witch were all too amused by the constant flow of young girls being bold enough to ask the boys to dance. Unable to say no the boys barely had a chance to rest as each time they sat down a new girl was asking for a dance.
The Witch made idle chat with Council Member Yoon, a crystal glass of champagne in her hand. “Where has your husband run off too?” The old council member questioned, The Witch simply shrugged her doting wife persona gone with the champagne she had consumed.
“My he must have really troubled himself, tell me my dear what exactly has our youngest council member done?” The old man mused with a knowing smile. The Witch let out a long sigh, “You would think after years of knowing each other, raising two sons together, he would think that informing me that he is an important person such as the head of The Witch and Warlock council,” The Witch mutters.
“Mmm, yes he did quite mess up badly. I would have understood why he would have withheld early on, it isn’t an uncommon thing for women to approach us in means of not love but ambitions. Namjoon is young as well, he attracts much more attention than any other head council member I’ve lived to see.” The old man reasons.
“But it seems he withheld too long, beyond reasons other than his deep personal ones that only he would understand.” The old man continued, “You are a beautiful, powerful, successful woman (y/n). Namjoon sees that, but perhaps his fear of losing it made him weary of you.” The old man concluded.
The Witch felt a soul crushing sadness at his words, and just as she opened to speak a hand was being held out. Following the hand she knew all too well she met Namjoon. He looked calm but his eyes begged as he silently asked her to dance. The Witch glanced at the older man beside her and he simply nodded. With a quiet sigh The Witch took Namjoon’s hand.
Namjoon led her to the dance floor where a soft waltz was being played. Gently Namjoon led her in the dance, both magic casters quiet. Tired of the silence, The Witch locks eyes with him, “Do you have anything to say?” she questioned. The Warlock eyes waver, a silent cue that he did not. Anger flares in The Witch’s chest. “Nothing at all?” she continues, as she silently begged him to speak. Anything would due, just so she would know that he felt something for her.
But The Warlock said nothing, The Witch felt her heart crush. Her hands dropped from him as if he would burn her, she said nothing as she turned and walked away. The Warlock remained there alone on the dance floor.
The Witch gathered her sons, her familiar and The Demon. She had spotted Yoongi on the way out and stopped, for he is not his master, just a simple connection of him. She kissed his head and apologized, he in return kisses her knuckles and apologizes as well for he knew what this meant.
The Dragon pressed his head to each nephew telling them to do well and be safe, he shook hands with The Demon reminding him to take care of the boys in his absence, finally at the flaming bird he pressed a soft kiss to his lips. Tears of gold fell from the familiar's eyes and she felt the hard tug of his heart in hers.
With their final goodbyes The Witch leads the group outside, two less than what they have arrived with. Once in the clear The Witch choked out a chant before snapping her fingers. In a flash of purple lightning the group was gone.
They reappear in the garden of The Witch’s home, she turned sharply addressing the whole group. She told them to pack a bag and enchant anything they can’t carry. She told them they were leaving, “A short trip,” She had smiled weakly. “Up North,” She continued with a bitter laugh, before rushing inside.
“Why would we go North?” Jungkook asked, The Witch stopped packing her bag and turned to him. She gently brushed her fingers over the amulet that rests over his chest. “There’s a man there, one who enchanted your amulet so that only you may take it off should you please.” she murmurs. “Grampa?” He questions with raised eyebrows, The Witch nods with a small smile. “You're going to meet your grandpa,” She laughs, “My Mentor,” She adds.
The Witch packs her bag and makes haste to pack equipment, books, and relics as she would need. However even in her haste she spots the unnaturally sad bird, The Witch stops and makes her way over to him. She wraps her arms around him and apologises and apologises until she is in tears. The Bird wraps his arms around her as she does.
When they pull away Hoseok presses his head to hers, “You saved me, you gave me a name, a home, a family, and a purpose. You are my master and so much much more. I may love Yoongi, but you will always come before my own desires.” He spoke.
More tears fell from The Witch, “I shouldn’t, I should never come before you beloved. Which is why, should you want to, you can stay and go to him. I will not let my own heartbreak interfere with your love. Unfortunately, should you stay I can not allow you to find us.” She murmurs  “I’m not going anywhere without you, you are my family.” He decides. With a hesitant nod The Witch nods and finishes with her packing.
The Witch then gathers the family in order to depart and finds Taehyung comforting the Fae boy, upon entering the room the boy rips himself away from The Demon and clings to The Witch. “All will be alright my little Fae. Everything will work out.” She murmurs, trying her hardest to believe it herself. “Come, it’s time to head North,” She murmurs stroking his silver hair.
The Family gathers in the garden, however The Witch stalls. Watching longingly at the fountain in hopes to see a blue hair bubble to the surface, however it doesn’t. The Witch choked out a chant, The Witch snaps her fingers and a bolt of purple lightning strikes down. The group disappears, heading Northbound.

Chapter 17: Royally Fucked Up
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Fantasy Au

The Witch only woke up when her familiar deemed it time to get ready. She spent a good portion of her time on her hair and makeup, pulling her locks into curls and brushing on shadows to make her look more alluring than she already is. When she finished she finally put on her dress.
The dress sits off her shoulders, sheer purple fabric that starts at the straps of the dress flows down on each side. The neckline plunges to the middle of her chest and is decorated with Amethyst crystals to frame the hemline, when it ends a laced up corset starts. The corset is an inky black with a purple cord stringing it together, the corset fits snugly as it brings out the fullness of The Witch’s bust and hips. From under the corset is sheer fabric that layers into a ruffled skirt. The skirt ruffles start in a length starting at her thighs before growing longer until the final layer ends in a train that drags shortly behind her. The Witch wore a layered choker necklace studded in jewels with layers falling so far to the center in her chest.
She was beautiful in ways that could make a Goddess weep, or at least that’s what The Warlock thought when he arrived at her room to fetch her. He lost his breath for a moment, unable to breathe let alone speak.
“Are you just going to stand there and qawk?” The Witch teases, “Yes,” The Warlock spoke without really much thought. The Witch rolls her eyes with a small smile, “Well stop, you look foolish,” she chases, swatting her hand in his direction. “Can you blame me my dear? I had yet to be in the presence of a Goddess until only moments ago,” He smiles.
“Do not call me such things Namjoon,” The Witch scoffs before standing from her vanity. “If that is what you wish,” He chimes as held his arm out for her to grasp. The Witch took it kindly and The Warlock led them down to the main entrance. Upon entering The Witch spots the six other males standing there, all equally stunning with their hair done and suits fitting perfectly.
With the Family gathered The Warlock takes a deep breath and chants softly. With a clap of his hands the group sank into the floor before emerging from a fountain in front of the grand building belonging to The Witch and Warlock Council.
The Warlock steps out first before holding his hand out to help The Witch out next, Jungkook had stepped out with his father and is now helping his brother out so he wouldn’t get his attire caught on anything. The two Familiars had simply stepped out together gracefully before being followed behind by The Demon.
Once out of the fountain the group made their way to the door with The oldest Warlock at the lead, much to The Witch’s surprise he didn’t need to show his invitation before being let in. Once through the door The Witch shot him a curious look but he only responded with a small smirk. The words that start in The Witch’s throat die in her mouth upon entering the ballroom as the entire room lays eyes on them.
The Witch stiffens and clutches The Warlock’s arm but holds her head tall. The Witch and Warlock pair descend down a grand staircase followed by their children then the familiars and demon. Whispers start as they enter the floor, however The Witch is all too accustomed to whispers. Her sons however shift nervously, The Witch lets go of The Warlock before using each hand to grip one of her sons.
“Hold your head high, for you command the room and those who are in it will only respect you as much as you present yourself.” The Witch whispers softly, still keeping her head high and eyes trained forward. The Witch withheld a smirk as she felt her sons' straighten their posture.
The Witch let go of their hands before returning to The Warlock’s side. The People around them slowly inch their way over to them, that is until one older male confidently waltzes his way through the crowd and over to them.
“Head council member Kim, It’s lovely to see that you finally brought your family.” He smiles, The Witch felt her world freeze. Although it may not have looked like it she felt her heart drop to her stomach and the air in her lungs sucked out.
The Witch didn’t speak a word but smiled politely. She felt The Warlock beside her stiffen violently, she ignored him wholeheartedly. “It’s such a pleasure to meet you, to think Namjoon had charmed the infamous Witch of The East is such a surprise.” The man laughs.
“A surprise indeed, this man is full of secrets it seems,” The Witch chimes sweetly, but The Warlock feels the spitefulness of her words. “Might I ask your name? Not much is known about you, and clearly rumors are far from the truth.” The elder chuckled.
“My name is (y/n) (l/n), I have two sons Jimin and Jungkook. The man with the red feathers is my Familiar, a Phoenix, named Hoseok.” The Witch informs, “And your familiar, is really uhm…” He clears his throat and gives a look. The Witch smirks, “Made? Certainly, I’m sure Namjoon has told you much about my achievements,” The Witch laughs, but The Warlock could hear the vexed undertones.
“You would think, but he hasn’t spoken a word, we’ve never even seen his sons. I hear things about them as well but it would be rude to entertain them.” The old man sighs. “My! Not talking about your family? How rude, Please excuse him, he's rather private. Allow me to introduce our family,” The Witch gasps.
The elder man nods his head eagerly, “Please let me take you to one of the tables. I’m sure we have much to talk about,” The elder man spoke, holding his arm out for her to take. Without so much as looking at Namjoon, The Witch took the older man’s arm. Behind her the two sons look at their father, Jimin’s pretty face hurt and Jungkook’s handsome one is one of betrayal. The Warlock had royally fucked up, and he knew it.

Chapter 16: Problematic Timing
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Fantasy Au
Warnings: Racial slurs, discrimination, torcher, death, murder, mentions of enslavement, kidnapping, mentions of suicide, attempted suicide.
Word Count: 1.5K
Summary: There have always been tales of creatures in the world, all described in different ways. Some labeled as ruthless, others heroic, or even powerful. The world is filled with magic of all types and monsters of every kind. But there are whispers of family so great they could rival the heavens if tempted. A Legacy grown from love, heartache, and magic.

The Witch sat in her large chair within her bedroom reading through some ancient text when suddenly her cauldron started to bubble over. A long sigh fell from her lips, she didn’t bother to look up as a certain blue haired Warlock bubbled up and tripped over the edge of the cauldron when he stepped out.
“Always so pleasant to see you Namjoon,” She chimes, finally looking up from her book. “The boys are off somewhere in the house but if I had to guess Jimin is in the garden and Jungkook will most likely be in the library.” She laughs.
The Warlock rises from the floor with a small smile, “Actually I’m not here for the boys,” He spoke shyly. But his bashful appearance suddenly changed, his shoulders squared and he stood tall with his head high.
“I’m here to collect a debt.” He smirks, The Witch’s eyes widen. “Namjoon! That was years ago! I thought we were well past that.” She laughs. Still The Warlock stood tall, “As far as I recollect we are Co-parents my dear. I have yet to court you which I will be changing now.” He spoke boldly.
The Witch’s cheeks flush at his statement, “So I will now ask you to accompany me to the Wicca Ball.” he continues. “The Wicca Ball!” The Witch yelps, “The one held by the Council?” She questions unsure. “That is the one,” He nods, “How did you get an invitation, I’m not sure someone merely working for the council would have received an invitation?” The Witch mumbles. “I’m not that far down.” The Warlock mumbles with a pout.
“Alright, I will accompany you. I might even charm your elders into giving you a high position.” The Witch teases, A large dimpled grin spreads across The Warlocks Face. “I would be eternally grateful if you did.” He laughs.
“I was told to bring my family and I thought it would be odd to have you attend as the boy's mother and not as their mother and my date.” The Warlock confesses, “So you simply used the debt owed to you by one of the most powerful Witches of your time to avoid awkwardness?” She questions with a raised brow.
A thoughtful look crosses The Warlock’s face, “Yes I suppose so,” He laughs scratching the back of his neck. “You really are the most interesting Warlock I have ever met.” She laughs. “So! Tell me when it is being hosted?” She chirps, “Tomorrow night!” He smiles. However after his words were spoken silence rang through the air. Until lighting crackled through the room.
“TOMORROW NIGHT! ARE YOU MAD? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE THEN!” The Witch screams, She stood from her seat abruptly and charged forward. The Warlock stumbles back at her advance but is stunned as she passes him. “It takes time to create a look acceptable for an event such as the Wicca Ball! While you have rubbed your poor taste on Jungkook, Jimin is fortunate enough to take after my tastes, and tastes such as those take days of planning!” she rants, throwing open her wardrobe.
“Not to mention I’d rather be damned to the darkest pits of the underworld than let you and Jungkook show up not up to par! You are the family of The Witch of the East! I will not allow you to shame our family's image with such subpar fashion tastes! We have better tastes than that Namjoon!” She continues all while dresses are being thrown in every other direction.
“Of course, I apologize, my dear,” He nods accordingly, afraid of any more wrath he may put on himself if were to say anything else. “Just as you should be!” she declares emerging from her wardrobe. “What are you still standing there for? Summon the boys! I know Familiars join the event because they are seen as an extension of their master. Where is Yoongi? He must be dressed accordingly as well! Taehyung must attend! I’m sure he can pass as Jungkook’s familiar if questioned.” She babbles. “Summon them all! We have work to do!” She huffs before walking back into her wardrobe. The Warlock does as he’s told and summons the entire Family, afraid of the wrath he may unleash if he didn’t.
With the entire Family gathered The Witch stood in front of them, “Due to the poor timing of your father we have a mere night to prepare our attire for the biggest ball of the season. So…” The Witch trails off. “Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok, all hands on deck we have to not only dress our shelves but these fools as well.” The Witch snips.
The three named males jumped into action while Jungkook shot his father a look. “You’ve done it now papa, Mama isn’t going to make this easy for any of us,” the boy grumbles. “You really need to work on your woman skills.” Yoongi quips, The Warlock groans and collapses himself into a chair. It was going to be a long night, he concluded.
To anyone else it would have seemed like the world was thrown into chaos unless you lived in the stone castle that’s buried in the swamp. A witch, her son, her familiar, and a Demon all scramble around throwing fabric, leather, and jewels with occasional zaps, sparks, waves, and blasts of magic.
A Warlock, his son, and Familiar all sat off to the side avoiding being caught in the crossfire as the organized chaos unfolds in front of them. Occasionally one of the four scrambling beings would stop abruptly and take a long one look at one of them before shooting away to carry on with whatever task they had.
Moments before dawn broke through the four beings let out a long sigh in relief as they managed to piece together eight different suits of attire for the evening. Although tired, The Witch’s ambition for perfection forces her to check for any imperfection. So, she hands out the small piles of clothes and waves off the seven men to dress themselves.
The Witch’s familiar is the first to re-appear. The Red silk suit he wore has a cape of orange and red feathers that drapes to the floor and flares out at the shoulders. Hoseok stood tall as The Witch pulled at the fabric and occasionally used her magic to tighten an area of fabric that was deemed too loose.
The Next to enter was Yoongi. Like much of the attire he wore, his attire is all black. However, his silk shirt is covered by a leather tunic and at his shoulders are two silver dragon heads that hold up the silk cape that crusades down his back. Silver chains wrap around his neck and hang from his ears.
The Demon enters next, his attire is white, much to The Demon's amusement. The shirt he wore is loose and the collar is open, but he wore a cream vest over the top that fits his frame. His dark pants fit well with the outfit despite the large contrast in color. However, The Witch adds him a dark cape that clips to one side and drapes over the other, the ornate white embellishments make the outfit look much more high class.
The Fae child is the next to enter, The Witch couldn’t help but smile brightly at the outfit. Jimin’s shirt is a white silk that has a plunging V neck, over it a sheer robe that’s embellished with small jewels. The robe has a dragging train that leaves the front open to reveal the tight cream pants that cover Jimin’s legs, The fabric that cover’s Jimin’s upper body has slits allowing his crystal like wings to slip through and display themselves fully. He looks alluring in a way you can very much tell the child is of Fae.
The Warlock child is the next to come out, his shirt cream and the vest that lays over it is a deep blue. Over his shoulders is a navy cape that has fur of black lining the collar around Jungkook’s neck, his amulet however still on proud display at the center of his chest. At his shoulders are two pieces of armor cuffing his shoulders that matches the ceremonial sword he has sheathed around his waist, The Witch has allowed him to use the items from her hall of armor. His pants are cream colored, but they tuck into a pair of knee-high boots to finish the look.
The Last to enter is The Warlock of the West, he wore a white shirt that tucked into tan pants. However, over his shirt is a blue tunic robe that's buttoned from the bottom to his chest to the top of his pants, displaying his large chest. The back of the tunic robe continues and ends at the back of his thighs, however what made it special is the design stitched the blue fabric. The Witch took her time to do it herself, but she wouldn’t dare admit it to him. Namjoon adds his own touches like the long ceremonial robe he said he must wear since this is a work event.
The Witch takes a long breath when she is finally satisfied with her work, The Warlock simply chuckles and leads her to bed where he lets her sleep. For she deserved the rest and would very much need it for later that evening.

The Witch sat with her sons in the garden much like they always do, Jimin off to the side doing his best to master flight but has only managed to flutter a little bit off the ground. Jungkook sat beside her snapping his fingers attempting to practice the trick his mother taught him.
“Are you sure you enchanted the object?” The Witch questions, The Boy beside her nods determinedly. “Then the best best advice I can give you is picture yourself using it when you snap your fingers. Focus on it, sense it, feel it.” She instructs softly.
The Boy beside her nods his head and closes his eyes. He sat like that for a moment, until slowly he snapped his fingers. The Witch grins as a cloud of blue smoke swirls in his hand before quickly dispersing, in its place sat The Boy's stuffed wolf.
“Very good my littlest wolf,” She smiles as The Boy’s eyes slowly open. He grins ear to ear upon seeing the object in his head. “With enough practice you’ll be able to change clothes with the snap of your fingers,” She chirps. Jungkook shrugs at the thought, “Or summon and change weapons mid battle should you please,” The Witch sighs. This thought causes a giddiness to perk up in The Boy.
“MAMA!” the loud cry of Jimin calls, The Witch snaps her head in his direction. A large smile forms on her lips as Jimin, a bit wobbly, floats in the air. His wings flutter rapidly to keep him in the air but they look beautiful as the sheer white of them has slight rainbow patches from the sun filtering through.
“Look at You!” A voice gasps, turning The Witch turns to see the blue haired Warlock. “Come to take them so soon?” she sighs, “I apologize my dear, but it is my turn to teach.” He chuckles. The Witch sighs out playfully, “I suppose you can take them,” she muses with a hand wave.
“I’ll see you boys soon, I hope to see your father has actually taught you something other than to be clumsy.” She smirks, pink dusts all three of The Boys cheeks. A rather bad habit the children picked up from their father is being rather clumsy, Jimin seems to trip over nothing while Jungkook tends to get messy with his magic.
As The Boys got ready to leave Hoseok came breezing over, “Would you mind if I went with them on this trip?” He questions shly, The Witch smirks knowingly and leans down to proper her head up with her hand and knee. “I don't see why not. Say hello to Yoongi for me, beloved,” She chimes, Hoseok’s cheeks painted red as his feathers ruffled but he doesn’t object.
The Witch watches the group of four depart off to The West, The Witch now remained with The Demon who if she had to guess was off in the strawberry patch. The Witch herself made her way back to the flower section of her garden, She sat in peace and admired her favorite statues and fountain.
However The Witch lets out an irritated sigh as she watches her water fountain turn to wine and a man emerges from its depths. Her face remains passive as the joyous man steps from the fountain, “Dionysus,” She greeted the man coldly. The man grins ear to ear upon hearing his name despite the cold tone.
“Is there something I can do for you?” She snips, The man laughs before curling both his hands in a circle. Magically two gold goblets are summoned, one in each hand. The god dips them into the wine fountain before making his way over, he holds one of the goblets out but she refuses.
“What is it that you need from me Dionysus?” She questions harshly, The God simply laughs. “Only your company,” He smiles, “My offer still stands my love,” He grins. Before The Witch can reply Taehyung emerges in a cloud of black smoke, his eyes an all consuming black and veins of ink litter his face and body.
“The lady said no,” He rumbles, however The God in question merely laughs. “You can’t be one of Hades, I would have gotten an ear full if he knew my love set one of his souls free,” He chirps. Taehyung pays the God no mind, “Taehyung, darling.” The Witch calls.
Taehyung’s attention immediately turns to her, “Take ease, Dionysus has made himself a problem to me for the last several years now and he is a problem I can most certainly handle myself.” The Witch soothes. “Wanting you to be my Goddess is a problem?” The God muses swirling his goblet of wine.
“It most certainly is,” The Witch snips, the God laughs. “Interesting conclusion, because I recall a time where I’ve spent many summer nights within your sheets.” He sighs, “Ancient History, I was young and naive then. I have grown since then and now know better, thank the stars” The Witch mutters as she waves him off coldly.
“But you can’t say you didn’t enjoy it,” He muses, “You are the god of wine and pleasure Dionysus, It’s impossible to not find pleasure with you when experienced. However, it is possible for me to withdraw myself from you.” The Witch sighs tiredly. “All because I told you I loved you and wanted to make you into a goddess, MY Goddess!” The man grunts.
The Witch merely shrugs, “I do not love you, I do not care for being a god.” The Witch snaps. “You gods are always so materialistic and self centered! I did not care for you then and I do not care for you now!” she snarls. “Watch who you are speaking to!” The God before her rumbled, The Witch didn’t even so much as blink.
“It will be you who will need to watch their words Dionysus, I may be mortal but the power I possess is anything but,” The Witch spoke darkly. The God before her sinks back at her threat, he knew she was powerful, It was one of the many things that drew him to her.
“(Y/N)!” A voice shouts, The Witch’s eyes widen as a blue haired Warlock comes charging through the gardens. Their eyes meet and The Witch can see them filled with nothing but concern. However the next words to fall from his mouth causes her chest to flare with anger.
“LEAVE MY WIFE ALONE!” The Warlock had yelled, “YOU DARE CLAIM SUCH A TITLE?” The god beside her thundered. Both men now standing inches away from each other buzzing with tension. “SILENCE!” The Witch finally snapped, thunder clapped in the cloudless sky.
“You! You immortal swine, you have no place to challenge that claim and if you DARE find the gall to harm the father of my children I will bend the heavens and hells to my whim to kill you myself if deemed necessary!” She snarls viciously to the God.
“And you! You will not be challenging a god when we have children to look after! And who do you think you are charging in here, and this is MY home and you WILL respect it!” The snaps angrily to the blue haired Warlock.
When The Witch’s shouts are finally silenced both men are still visibly stunned. The Witch glares at the God, “Why are you still here? Begone!” She snaps. So without so much as a complaint the God left, sinking back down into the fountain of wine. The Witch knew he had really left when the Wine slowly turned back to water.
As soon as the fountain was back to its clear blue she turned to The Warlock sharply. “What were you thinking Namjoon! Challenging a God!” She stresses throwing her hands up in the air. “I know! I know! I’m sorry! But Taehyung had showed up in a panic, ranting about some god pressing you to marry him! And I... I couldn’t let him do that. If you left I wouldn’t know how to raise our boys! I wouldn’t even know what to do with myself if you left!” The Warlock rants in return.
The Witch took a deep breath, “It’s...Alright. But I am a bit insulted that you think I would trade my place here for something as foolish as immortality.” she sighs. The Warlock said nothing but stepped close enough to wrap his arms around her tightly. The Witch wraps her arms around him in return, unable to say anything else.

The Two magic casters stood there within each other for what seemed like forever until The Warlock let out a sigh, “You know, You never did deny the fact I called you my wife,” He teases. The only response he received was a sharp shock to his side.

Chapter 14: Growing Youth

Jungkook was gifted his amulet soon after it’s creation, The Witch had taken the liberty to send it to her mentor to test it before she even thought about gifting it to him. But upon the amulets return there was a short note demanding a visit in the near future, it made The Witch uneasy to think of exposing her children to the chaotic nature of her mentor.
Her mentor had also left a small note that he himself added an enchantment to it, an enchantment that only allows Jungkook to take it off if he pleases. “It's a gift” he mentor wrote, “To the Grandson that will rise above the laws of magic.” He continued. The note had tears welling in The Witch’s eye and silently told herself she will now definitely have to visit her mentor soon.
Upon gifting the amulet to Jungkook, The Witch stood beside Namjoon as they both swelled with pride. The Witch gently looped the necklace around his neck, and as soon as the amulet came to rest on him it flashed a soul sucking blue before resting. “There,” The Witch spoke hushly, “Now you're even more than what that mutt of father of yours was,” She smiles. “He already was my dear, you just made him better,” Namjoon muses from the side. Jungkook visibly brightened before explaining all the overwhelming energy he could feel.
The Witch simply smiled before holding out her palms and instructing Jungkook to follow. Together they chanted a simple spell, one that simply allows a ball of light to gather in the caster’s hands. As soon as the chat was complete a bright orb had gathered in Jungkook’s hands, The Witch and Warlock were speechless at the sight.
It seemed so much like a dream to see their son who was deemed magicless cast his first spell. Jungkook, however trimble and tears welled in his eyes, The ball of light dispersed when Jungkook’s hands broke apart to wipe away his tears. Panic seeped into The Witch’s very core upon seeing the tears, She fell to her knees and held Jungkook tightly as he sobbed.
Namjoon too wrapped them both in his large embrace, once the sobbing stopped Jungkook pulled away with glossy eyes. To the two parent’s shock he thanked them, his eyes began to water as he told them how much he loved them and how he was lucky to have parents like them.
It took The Witch all she had not to burst into tears at the child’s confession. I took all she had not to turn and kiss Namjoon when he smiled at her like she was the most beautiful woman in the world as he told her she’s a wonderful mother.
That day set forth a new era for the family as the parents and guardians set their full attention to teaching both children to hone their crafts. Namjoon did a wonderful job teaching Jimin as his Fae powers grew stronger and stronger with each lesson. And The Witch did a wonderful job guiding Jungkook as he grew to learn more and more complex spells. The two familiars took to teaching Jungkook to shift, while The Demon took to teaching Jimin about the inner workings and circles of the magical world.
While the boy’s magical powers grew, so did they, They grew until they were young Handsome teenagers. Jimin still remained small but his body grew slider and toned from all his dancing. His wings grew in and while they were big and layered much like his blood mother they were colored a sheer white making them look something akin to glass. Jimin’s face kept its round puffy cheeks but his jaw grew sharp to where if you looked at him at just the right angle you could see where the temptatious looks of the fae people grew in.
Jungkook on the other hand grew big and muscular from all his training as a warrior. Jungkook’s hair grew out more to the point he could pull it up with a string of cord, sometimes he would even let his mother braid small chunks of it and let them stay. His face no longer as rounded as it used to be, now sculpted as if he was made from marble to the relief of both his parents, his cheeks still puffed up with every boyish smile.
Both boys grew extremely popular in the village, Girls fawned over them every time they accompanied their mother into the village. They were shy at first, but Jimin’s Fae genes quickly took hold and made him a well known charmer around the village for he charmed just about everyone, men and women alike. Although not quite out there as his brother Jungkook followed by his example, Jungkook had a playfulness that had all the young girls swooning for him.
As they boys grew, they grew into discovering their magic as well as themselves. Jimin in particular, as one day The Witch had caught him in front of the mirror looking over himself as he wore one of her black and purple dresses. “What in the stars name are you wearing?” The Witch had gasped upon seeing him. The fae boy nearly jumped out of his skin upon hearing her and he felt his heart sink at her words.
Imagine his surprise when she stepped forward and tugged at the fabric around adjusting it to sit properly. But once properly adjusted she kissed her teeth, “This will never fit, Honestly what was going on in that little mind of yours when you picked THIS out of my entire wardrobe.” She huffed in distaste before she snapped her finger quickly replacing the dress he was wearing with a white sheer lace blouse and thin cotton pants.
“There, this should due for now, at least until I can have my tailor make something much more suitable.” She hums as she gently smooths the fabric over his shoulders and arms. “You're not angry?” The Fae Boy mutters quietly with his head bowed. The Witch tisks before tapping her fingers up on his chin to force his head up, “Do not mumble, speak loud and clearly and do not DARE bow your head, hold it high for all to see.” She instructs.
Jimin is quick to follow her instruction but he still casts her a confused stare, “Jimin, my love, I will never ever be angry over what types of clothes you prefer to wear. HOWEVER, I will be angry if you choose to wear them wrongly or improperly. My mentor always said to dress correctly and orderly even if it is in an outlandish fashion.” She spoke strongly.
“Is that why you always scold Papa when he dresses funny?” Jimin questions, “We do not speak of your father’s fashion choices.” The Witch murmurs spitefully. Her tone causes the boy to laugh and the woman couldn’t bring herself not to smile as well.
“Do you think Papa will be okay with this?” He questions as he looks himself over, “Do not worry what your Father thinks, if he has a problem with it, which I highly doubt, he can come to me and I shall turn him to stone and use him as garden decoration.” The Witch snips.
“I heard my name!” A voice cuts in, and there at the door was The Warlock in question. “Oh, you look pretty Jimin,” He comments in shock. A large grin spreads across Jimin's face at the praise. “Mmm yes but it doesn’t quite fit him as much as I’d like it to. The color suits him, but I’d prefer it if the pants were a bit tighter and the blouse flared down into a train of sorts.” The Witch hums as she pulls at the fabric a little.
The Warlock rolls his eyes, “A stickler for detail as always,” He mutters. However he soon yelps as a shock of lightning hits his arms, “Do not patronize me Warlock,” The Witch tisks. “I’m sorry! Aish your mother’s so spiteful!” He whispers to Jimin, “Only when you deserve it,” The Witch chimes as she brushes back Jimin hair into a pretty swept back look.
It was that moment Jungkook came wandering into the room, he took one glance at Jimin before pouting. “Does this mean Jimin gets to be the pretty one? Can you make me the Handsome one then?” He questions. “Don’t worry Kookie, I'll help you!” Namjoon glows, The Witch jolts at The Warlock's words. “You most certainly will NOT you uncultured swine!” She shrieks, jumping forward and wrapping her arms protectively around Jungkook who has almost outgrown her. “Kidding! Kidding! I’m only teasing my dear,” The Warlock chuckles, The Witch visibly relaxes. “For now,” He suddenly quips, which in turn earns him a well deserved zap from her fingers.

Chapter 13: New Possibilities
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Fantasy Au
Warnings: Racial slurs, discrimination, torcher, death, murder, mentions of enslavement, kidnapping, mentions of suicide, attempted suicide.
Word Count: 2.2K
Summary: There have always been tales of creatures in the world, all described in different ways. Some labeled as ruthless, others heroic, or even powerful. The world is filled with magic of all types and monsters of every kind. But there are whispers of family so great they could rival the heavens if tempted. A Legacy grown from love, heartache, and magic.
Tumblr media
From that point on The Witch spent her every waking moment furthering her children’s abilities. Not forcefully of course, but she spent her time looking for ways to take them to their fullest potential.
The Witch decided that these growing boys will not only be her children but her legacies and life’s work. The Witch and Namjoon spent much time creating methods for Jimin’s training and they spent just as much time thinking of ideas to bestow magic to Jungkook.
In that time the two parents would, the two children didn’t merely sit around. Jimin, ever growing bolder, worked on controlling his powers himself, under the watchful eye of Hoseok and Taehyung of course. Jungkook continued to work on his fighting skills, expanding his knowledge from just swordsmanship under the guidance of Taehyung and Yoongi, all while both mastered the elements of witchcraft that doesn’t require the inner magic of a Warlock or Witch.
However there was a darker part to the work, one that was strictly kept between the five adults. A solution that had been thought of during a drunken night with the eldest members of the family. A solution that even The Witch would dare not speak in the presence of anyone but her family.
It took months for her and the other men to decide this would give Jungkook his best chance. To give Jungkook his best chance, The Witch is going to put her few morals to the test. The one in particular: All life is precious.
The Witch will take the amulet of her mentor, the very thing she wanted so desperately so long ago, the very thing that brought her Jimin, and she will take the amulet and infuse every kind of magical and non magical creature she can into it. That kind of power could not only give Jungkook casting abilities but endless shifting abilities as well.
And so, after that one month of hesitance, The Witch hesitates no more. She set to work endlessly. And she started by gathering the notes from Hoseok’s healing, she goes on to convert those pages of notes into three separate spells. One for healing life, another for bestowing gifts, and the last for exactly what it was made for...Creation.
The Witch moved on to the second spell portion she would need, one that she created freeing Taehyung. Taking the spell she inverted it, creating a whole new version for the purpose of trapping rather than freeing. The kind of trapping spell that even Taehyung admits not even a sin could escape from.
Taking the spells she locked them away for the timing being. She will open them back into the light when the time is right and when the stars deem it necessary. Once the spells are locked away the five adults set to work collecting even the rarest of hearts for Jungkook’s gift. Of course on the rule that the creature from which it was taken from must be dead for reasons other than the taking of its heart.
The first heart to be collected is from a wolf, brought to The Witch by Taehyung. Upon being questioned on how he came into possession of the heart Taehyung admitted to taking on quests. He assured The Witch that he only accepts the quests in which a being has rightfully deserved it’s end.
Although skeptical, The Witch allowed Taehyung his method, but only after Namjoon agreed as well. Upon accepting the heart, The Witch placed it in a glass jar before Namjoon casts a complex spell onto it. One that would freeze the heart in its exact moment in time. At a price of course, not even The Witch can defy all laws of magic.
The second heart is one of Peryton, brought to The Witch by Hoseok. Who explained that he traded himself as a sacrifice for the heart of the being.
Upon being told The Witch refused to let him carry on such trading practice. However, Hoseok relented, saying what was the use of his immortality if he didn’t use it to help the ones he loves. Eventually the two came to a compromise. Hoseok will be able to continue this form of practice only after The Witch approves of each trade, And she made it very clear she will only accept deals that include only the rarest of being’s hearts for the life of her familiar.
The third heart was that of an Enfeild, brought by Yoongi who said nothing of how he came in possession of it but simply said his centuries worth of hord did not simply end gold and precious stones.
Yoongi claims that he must continue looking through but states should he find something of usefulness he shall bring it to her as soon as possible. The Witch did not speak against his generous offer, it’s not often you find a dragon willing to part with items of his hord so freely and willingly.
The fourth heart was one of great proportions, the heart of an alicorn is the rarest of rare. How did Namjoon of all people come into possession of it? The Witch didn’t know, upon being asked The Warlock smiled softly and said he pulled a few strings within his work place and it was given to him at a cost he was more than willing to pay.
The Witch did not feel settled by Namjoon’s vague explanation. An Alicorn is rare, so Rare that the few that do exist are held in protective custody by the higher powers of the Magic community. The power of the Alicorn will give Jungkook undeniable magic ability and strength. Such power that The Witch wondered if it would be too much for him.
However, she collected the heart and locked it away. The Witch and the three other adults spent the next year collecting hearts for the amulet. Hearts of simple beings such as woodland animals and hearts of powerful mythical beings such as those that are said to be blessed by the gods.
The Witch took all the hearts provided and as the collection grew she grew more careful with what heart she would allow into the amulet. Hearts of darker, more evil beings like Unicorns and chupacabras were collected yet not allowed to be placed in the amulet. The beautiful more powerful beings such as Hippocampus and thunderbird, are first in line to be placed in the amulet upon it’s time..
However there were a few debates about certain beings that must be included regardless of their natural nature. Beings such as Krakins for the purpose of faster healing, this was pointed out by Namjoon who provided such a heart in the first place. Unsurprisingly considering his element of water provided him the resources to even locate such a heart.
There was a heart Hoseok insisted on too, The heart of a kitsune, allowing such a heart caused The Witch to be weary but she allowed it since it was he who died for it. She had no idea why he would want Jungkook to have such ability but she didn’t question his reasoning any further.
Taehyung was the next to insist on a heart, one The Witch outright refused at first. The heart of a succubus is something she never wants Jungkook to bear, yet The Demon somehow assured The Witch that he will personally train the boy to control The Demonic power he will possess with such a heart.
It was finally Yoongi who brought the heart he insists Jungkook possesses, one that The Witch would have never thought he would offer. Even though Salamanders are a part of the draconic race, Salamanders only barely meet the textbook definition of Draconic kind with their reptile looks and ability to breath fire. Salamander’s may lack every other trait of a dragon species, but their astounding ability to breath fire more than makes up for it. And it was made clear that Salamanders can’t shift into a human form, they are merely the reptiles they were born as.
The Witch did not question Yoongi’s choice; she only took the heart with a small smile and nod before the old dragon quickly left. By then the year had concluded with a total thirty hearts, yet The Witch chose to include only seven magical hearts and seven non magical hearts including the four hearts that were insisted on.
When the night of the sealing came as did the tense atmosphere. The children were sent to bed early as the adults were quick to set to work on preparations. Namjoon prepares the interkit spells and The Witch gathers storm clouds to boost their power. Thankfully this ritual was not in need of a sacrifice, however both familiars were needed to aid their masters to boost their powers to the limits. Taehyung has settled with the duty to shut things down should they go wrong, for his demonic powers should be able to slow down that much magic long enough for The Witch and warlock to settle it.
By midnight they were ready, The Witch and Warlock gathered the hearts in a circle around the amulet. Taehyung lit the candles as the familiars stood behind their respected masters with their hands firmly pressed to their shoulder. With the combined energy of the powerful magic casters and the raging storm consisting of both their elements, the one alone could take down an entire kingdom and together they could take down an empire.
But instead of destroying the two are creating, creating a new possibility for their son and his future. As the two magic casters joined hands a wave of magic burst knocking The Demon outside the magic circle back. Chants flowed freely from the two like a well practiced song, the two magic casters deathly focused on the task at hand.
After the first few verses visible magic stirred, at first it was swirls of blue and purple, but then it merged creating a deep soul sucking blue. The color swirls within the magical ring bouncing off every heart within it. Until another few verses are complete, once those verses left the magic casters’ mouth the deep blue puffed into a dark cloud, covering the ground around them and soaking up each heart. The air began to smell, different musks of indescribable scents.
The last verses fell from the lips of the spell casters and as they did the smoke of deep blue was sucked into the amulet like man tasting water for the first time. As the last of the smoke entered the amulet the air around them blasted knocking the five adults to the floor and blowing out all the previously lit candles.
Although completely and utterly tired the two spell carters stood and looked over the amulet, the jars around it broken and empty while the amulet glows a deep blue. The Witch couldn’t help but smile at the success. But as relief washed over her body, so did exhaustion. Namjoon is quick enough to catch The Witch’s falling body. Without any words, Namjoon collects The Witch and takes her to bed as the two familiars and one demon start the clean up process.
Upon being put into bed, The Witch kept a steel grip on the fabric of Namjoon’s shoulder. ”You don’t have to leave, Rest with me. We deserve it “ The Witch whispers. Namjoon lets out a small sigh accompanied by a small smile. Without any protest The Warlock climbs into bed with The Witch. A blissful sigh left Namjoon as his body relaxed into bed.
“We did good right?” The Witch questions softly, “This will make him happy?” She continues to question. “I believe so, and it isn’t power that makes him happy my dear. It’s the fact that it came from you, from us. That is what makes him happy.” Namjoon whispers.
The Witch simply nods before exhaustion takes its final toll and lulls her to sleep with The Warlock beside her in tow.

Despite The Warlock’s concern he agreed to The Witch’s compromise. So when fall came and School started The Witch took her two children to Namjoon with their backs packed and tears in her eyes. Jungkook was ecstatic to not only spend more time with Namjoon but start school as well, Jimin however is a different story. The Fae child cried and sobbed for The Witch not to leave him even when she promised they would spend holidays and Summer together.
The arrangement was that the children would live with Namjoon during school but during Holidays and Summers they would return to their mother. The Witch also demanded that Taehyung go with the children, even if The Demon swore to protect Jungkook originally he altered his vow to protect Jimin as well.
Namjoon had no issue with Taehyung coming along, to him it was just one extra set of eyes to watch the children when he had work. The Witch still didn’t know what Namjoon did specifically, but she knew it took up a lot of his time when it called for him. Sometimes he would go days without work needing him and he could work from home, other times it called for him to be gone for weeks at a time. All The Witch knew was that he was in the public eye enough for him to be recognized on every street corner.
The first year of schooling was the hardest for The Witch, she was restless when her once lively house was now reduced to near silence. Even the energetic flaming bird found it had to bare. The Witch had grown used to spending her time caring for the children and now she has so much time on her hands she has no idea what to do with it. She often grew restless for the next time she would be able to see her children, she yearned for summer to grow closer faster.
Every occasion she saw her children they spewed words upon words about what they had learned at school, oftentimes the words would be jumbled together. Namjoon had chosen classes for them that year. He enrolled Jungkook into sword fighting lessons and Jimin into dance lessons, but he made sure both took the basics to witchcraft. Jungkook proved to excel in his fighting lessons just as Jimin shined in his dance lessons, but it was The Witchcraft courses that they enjoyed most.
Of course, they would only learn about the elements and basic potion, charms, and spells. But both seemed so immersed into the craft, The Witch couldn’t have felt prouder upon hearing about it from Namjoon. It was at the end of year conferences, a parent teacher meeting held to review their yearly progress, The Witch and Namjoon were all the more thrilled to hear about Jimin and Jungkook being the star pupils of their witchcraft class.
That summer felt like a dream, The Witch was happy to see her sons and Taehyung again. It was during that summer that she noticed just how much they grew during her absence. Jungkook’s hair darkened to a black color, not as black as Taehyung’s by any means but still dark. Jimin’s once pink hair was then a flaming red, the shade of red that reminded The Witch of Titania's, but The Witch found his hair far more beautiful. Although the boys were only ten years of age, they were toned from all the athletic activities that came with dance and sword classes.
Hoseok was thrilled to have his tiny dance partner back, Jimin’s first week back was spent teaching him all the new dances he learned. Jungkook spent his first week begging The Witch to teach him things so he could go back and show his teacher. The Witch was almost hesitant, almost. She ended up teaching the boy a thing or two a level higher than what he was being taught in school. The summer days were spent in laughter and joy, and it only grew when Namjoon and Yoongi decided to stop by for a while.
That fall was harder than the first, but The Witch recovered faster. She had soon discovered that if she kept herself distracted holidays and summer would come quicker. So The Witch spent her time walking the small village nearby, they were far more friendly than the previous one. The chief even invited her and her familiar to dinner one night. That night was spent educating the chief and his family about the wonders of witchcraft and all the magical things in the world.
The chief was so amazed that he had asked The Witch if she knew of a way that would perhaps encourage magical beings to come to their village so he may be able to witness them. The Witch was all too happy to help, for she too enjoys seeing magical beings of every kind. The two spent months installing new customs and trades that soon attracted not only visitors but new residents.
Festivals were held on holidays that The Witch was all too happy to attend with her sons. Namjoon even decided that he would come along as well. The festivals became a thing that everyone enjoyed. There was one occasion that Jimin offered to dance and the whole town was in awe of his performance. There was another occasion where Jungkook entered a duel and won first place. The Witch and Namjoon however simply enjoyed the festivities from the side. That is until The Hallow’s Eve festival where the whole village voted them the Hallow King and Queen.
It had also been that festival Jimin and Jungkook asked their mother if it was okay to call Namjoon their Papa. The Warlock nearly collapsed upon hearing the question, he stumbled on nothing and knocked down three pumpkins upon catching himself. He did however cry when he heard The Witch give her consent. Namjoon donned the name Papa while Yoongi was dubbed Uncle Yoongi that night. Something about the names made both men grin ear to ear for no particular reason other than pure utter joy.
Everything seemed to be going flawlessly after that. The boys continued school, excelling in their classes as well as remaining the star pupils of their witchcraft courses. It wasn’t until that summer did things take a sudden and hard twist. It was that summer in the garden Jungkook found a gold statue buried under vines and shrubs.
He had gone to his mother to ask questions like who she was, why was she there, what did she do. Jungkook wasn’t naive, he was the son of The Witch of The East and Warlock of the West, he knew what a statuefied person looked like. It was these questions that sent The Witch into a state of dread, she would tell him the truth of course but she feared what the child may think upon hearing the story.
The Witch, having nowhere to run, decided it was best to kill two birds with one stone. So she gathered Jimin and summoned Namjoon. With everyone present, even the Uncles and Taehyung, they sat down. The Witch told Jungkook the story about that stormy night so long ago and She told Jimin about the quest to save Jungkook that had taken an unexpected turn. Then she told them both that no matter who they are or what they came from she will love them.
“You may not see me the same way now, you may not like the art of Witchcraft anymore. Because what my magic and I have done will forever affect your life. But despite this I would like you to know that you, Jungkook, will always be my littlest wolf and you, Jimin, will be my little Fae.” The Witch whispered softly. Afraid if she spoke any louder her voice would crack, and she would break into tears. Namjoon, being the kind man he is, held her trembling hand as she spoke, providing what little comfort he could to her.
“Is it still okay to want to be a Warlock like Papa?” Jungkook asked quietly, The Witch smiled and gasped as she released the breath, she didn’t know she was holding. She nodded her head wiping away the tears before they could fall completely. “It’s okay if I want to be a Warlock too right Mama?” Jimin whispered, his bottom lip trembled and eyes swelled. Jimin always was one to cry if someone else was. The Witch continued to nod her head, bigger tears slipping from her eyes.
It was later that summer, after a small visit from Namjoon’s, Jimin came home with pretty blonde hair rather than his fiery red hair. Upon being asked the Fae child said he would much prefer that color rather than have the color of the woman who had used him as a game chip. The Witch had no idea where he learned to speak that way, she later supposed it was herself that unintentionally taught him, but she was secretly pleased and a bit tickled by the fact that Titiana’s blood would much rather be something else than resemble her. She would later commend Namjoon for his efforts to teach Jimin the basics for his glamor.
That summer had proven to be hardest and the return to school for their final year seemed to be even harder. The Witch didn’t give herself time to think too hard about it, she had to prepare for her children’s education into their craft. Be it something witch-like or not, despite the fact both children said they would like to be Warlocks they are still young and they may change their mind further down the road. Something The Witch wouldn’t mind at all as long as they were happy with their choice.
The Witch spent much of her time staying in contact with Namjoon, she was constantly preparing him for lessons with Jimin. Even if he was a Warlock, knowing witchcraft and teaching it are two very different things, not to mention he would have to teach a Fae child how to use it. Jimin’s magic is going to be far too potent for Witchcraft, which is why Namjoon will read over Fae magic techniques then apply Witchcraft based principles. It would be hard, yes, but together surely, they could figure it out.
School, for once in The Witch’s view passed quickly. At the end of year of conference The Witch sat with Namjoon for the first and last time as a Mother and Father. The teacher was ecstatic by the reports of Jimin and Jungkook. However, there was one thing that sparked The Witch’s anger. A snide comment from the teacher about Jungkook’s abilities. They spoke how it was such a waste of magical potential for it to belong to a magicless being like Jungkook.
It wasn’t surprising to see dark thunder clouds gather in the sky, what was surprising was as soon as they gathered large drops of water hailed from above. Darkness covered the sky only to be illuminated by frightening clashes of lightning as heavy rain hailed from the heavens, but the sky looked like anything but the heavens. Inside the classroom The Witch sat in her seat in full attention, as if she was just waiting for a reason to attack the teacher across the desk that would not serve as even the thinnest of barriers should she find the reason to do so. Namjoon however, sat laid back in his seat with his arms crossed but his eyes looked as if there was a whole raging sea in them.
“I think we’re done here,” Namjoon said coldly. The Teacher paled at his voice. It was the deepest The Witch had ever heard it before, and she would have swooned over it if it wasn’t for the reason why it deepened in the first place. The two parents stood from their seats to leave and the stunned teacher quickly realized what was happening. They too stood from their seat stuttering an apology but neither parent was having any of it. “SIT DOWN!” The Witch thundered, sparks of purple popped off her body and a particularly loud clash of lightning punctuated her demand. Without any hesitation the teacher dropped themself back into their chair without another word of protest.
When the two exit the classroom The Witch screeches in frustration, “THAT IS IT! BY THE STARS I SWEAR! COME NAMJOON I HAVE WORK TO DO!” The Witch fumes. “To do what exactly?” The Warlock asks hesitantly as he struggles to follow after the raging witch. “WHATEVER ELSE? I AM GOING TO CRAFT JUNGKOOK THE ABILITY TO CAST MAGIC! SO THAT WHOEVER ELSE DARES SPEAK TO HIM AS IF HE IS WASTED POTENTIAL WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEIR QUOTE WASTED POTENTIAL LOOKS LIKE!” The Witch snarls.
A chuckle broke The Witch out of her fit of hot raging anger, she turned sharply and glared at The Warlock behind her. “Do you find this amusing?” She sneers, The Warlock smirks at her. “No, not at all. You, however, I find very amusing. I simply just can’t wait to see what impossibility you make possible.” The Warlock muses blissfully. The Witch huffs and shoots him a half hearted glare as she feels her heart flutter slightly. “Well, I must get to it then.” She smirks.

A Legacy grown from love, heartache, and magic.
Tumblr media
Although The Witch and Namjoon raised their children without much disagreement, It doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen at all. A prime example is a situation such as now.  The two boys grew to the age that proper education became a thing they would need to complete. Not that The Witch didn’t properly educate them already, Both boys knew how to read and write proper sentences. Nothing too extensive, but they are able to read small books by themselves. Taehyung even went so far as to teach them a few phrases of demonic tongue.
The two boys are very well educated for their age, but Namjoon suggests they be sent to school in the city that's not too far from his home. An idea The Witch isn’t particularly...fond of. The Witch didn’t see the need, Jungkook doesn’t possess the proper magic abilities to be accepted into a witchcraft school and Jimin’s Fae abilities wouldn’t develop until later even if the headmaster would accept a Fae child into such a  school.
The Witch didn’t like the idea of her children in the city either, which is why she lives in the swamp near a -small- village. Namjoon however made it clear that he wouldn’t let the situation go without her giving him a proper chance to convince her. Which brings us to the reason why The Witch, her children, and Namjoon ready themselves to enter the city. The city itself is big and prosperous, home to The Witchcraft council and many other elite organizations. Beings of all kinds, including humans, live in the city. Some beings are the kind she has dealt with for many years and wishes that her sons may not be exposed to their ways.
Once inside the city The Witch finds herself suddenly aware just how much time it has been since she has interacted with so many beings at once. Especially when many of them direct their attention to their small group. Many of them nod their head to Namjoon then shoot curious glances at The Witch and her children. It's only when a figure collides with The Witch on the busy street does she finally shake with uncertainty. The figure bows deeply apologizing profusely to not only to her but Namjoon as well.
The Witch, stricken with nerves, held onto The Warlock’s arm in a vise-like grip. Much to his amusement as it seems. “How is it that everyone in this city knows you?” The Witch questions, “I’m a somewhat public figure you could say.” He replies, uncertainty lightly coated in his tone. “As in you work for the council?” She continues, “Something like that,” He agrees with a nod before turning his attention to the boys in front of him. It was just the four of them on this trip, Yoongi and Hoseok stayed behind at Namjoon’s home as The Witch gave Taehyung a day to relax at her own.
The Witch, despite her jitters, has been keeping a close watchful eye of the children as they marvel at the city around them. Namjoon hopes this trip will convince her to let the boys study here, but so far her resolve hasn’t even cracked. Jungkook comes to a dead stop in front of a toy store, the window of the shop filled with many things but the stuffed wolf in the window capturing his attention. He looks to his mother hopeful, and with a pinch of guilt The Witch couldn’t say no. “mama,” He calls shyly, he then points to the toy in the window. The Witch lets a small smile paint her lips, “I don’t see why not.” She answers his unsaid question.
Jungkook’s face lights up as he runs to the door of the store, Namjoon is kind enough to pay for the toy. Not that he gave her much choice in the first place, as he was first to get to the salesperson and request the desired toy. The Witch sighs as she watches Jungkook bounce excitedly in place by Namjoon’s long legs waiting to receive his new toy.
The Witch then looks down at Jimin who watches beside her his tiny hands gripping the fabric of her dress. “Jimin my dear, would you like something as well?” she asks him. The Fae child looks up at his mother, before his eyes sweep across the shop only to shake his head. The Witch rolls her eyes at his attempt to amuse her idea of gifting him something. “Let’s take a closer look shall we?” She questions softly before taking his hand and leading him further into the shop.
The Witch and her Fae son wander the shop stopping every so often to ask his thoughts on an item. Every time he simply shrugged and looked elsewhere, at first The Witch didn’t mind but after the fifth rejected toy she grew determined to find something for him. However, after the tenth item she grew ready to give up and perhaps find a different store until she caught him looking at a wooden wand longer than all the other toys he had looked at.
He only confirmed her assumption of his liking when he glanced at it a few more times. Without saying anything, The Witch picked it up, and looked over it. The toy had a long wooden body that was painted white, but at the very end colorful strips of silk fabric hung loosely. A child size dancing baton, something The Witch had seen used in dancing festivals. “It's very pretty, don't you think Jimin?” she questions, the small boy nods his head shyly.
“I think you would dance better if you had this, don't you think? I’m sure uncle hobi will be more than happy if he saw you dance with this. Maybe it will remind him of the time he got so excited he caught himself on fire dancing in the gardens.” She smiles, a giggle slipped through the child's lips at the memory. “Do you think you would want this?” She questions him and he nods his head excitedly. The Witch grins in victory as she picks up the small boy and walks him back to the front of the small shop.
Namjoon is standing by the door with Jungkook who’s smiling down at his stuffed wolf. Upon seeing the two Namjoon took Jungkook by his hand and led him to the counter. Jungkook grins upon seeing the toy chosen. The toy is quickly paid for and with a thankful nod, the four of them leave the store.
Namjoon once again leads them through the streets. Until they stop in front of the gates of a large brick school. “I don’t want to send them to a witchcraft school, It wouldn’t suit them in any shape or form. This is the school I went to, It doesn’t just teach basic witchcraft. It teaches many things like potions, stars, and creatures of every and all types.” Namjoon spoke up.
“They have classes here, Jungkook could learn swordsmanship or Jimin could learn to dance traditional festival dances. My only concern is that while this may seem the ideal school for Jungkook who may not have magical abilities, it doesn’t teach children how to use or control any magical abilities they may have. This school only teaches things humans may be able to possibly learn. Anything else is left to specific schooling, the parents, or even a mentor. Jimin won’t be able to learn how to control and harness his powers here.” Namjoon informs.
The Witch had a grim look on her face, “I don’t like it here, I don’t like that they won’t even try to help a child control their abilities, and I certainly don’t like how you spoke of Jungkook’s lack of abilities.” She spoke harshly. The Warlock sighs, “But I’ll agree to let them be schooled here on some conditions.” The Witch finished.
The Warlock’s eyes widen in surprise, “Though I believe we should wait until we get home to discuss this.” The Witch mutters gazing warely at all the people around her. A laugh fell from The Warlock’s lips at The Witch’s expression only to receive a slight zap from the tips of her fingers. The Warlock’s laughter fades but not entirely as he continues to chuckle quietly.
The odd family of four make their way back to The House of The Warlock. Upon their arrival home the children run to show the familiars their newly acquired toys. As they did so the two magic casting beings sat on the large baloney overlooking the sea.
“My mentor is a man of many talents, creation being one of them.” The Witch muses quietly. “He’s amazing at what he does, taking small trinkets and turning them into more. Many of them are as simple as a painting that will change with the season as they progress or as powerful as a sword that shall never fall from its master hands once held. He has done many wondrous things, but one thing the world doesn’t know is that he’s as clever as the devil and perhaps twice as pretty.” The Witch laughs.
“Upon taking me on as his protege he taught me that there's always a way to teach someone. Whether it be teaching as easy as teaching a siren to sing or as difficult as teaching a gargoyle to fly, There's always a way. That is why, While I may permit our boys to study under the school, I will only allow them to be taught until they are thirteen.” The Witch spoke softly.
“Why take them away so young? What could they possibly learn from us that they couldn’t learn there despite Jimin's abilities?” The Warlock questions with a sigh. “Many things, Namjoon. You just have to be willing to teach them.” The Witch replied strongly with a certain sharpness to her tone.
“You possess a water affinity do you not? Surely you know water runs through everything living. Plants, included.” The Witch hums. The Warlock’s eyes widened, “You think I could teach Jimin to control his abilities?” He questions, baffled. “Not just control, Master. The Fae people have a certain mindset when learning their abilities. They see the earth and vegetation around them as thoughtless playthings. Witches however learn that the world has feelings, thoughts, even heartbeats that we use to bend the laws of nature. If Jimin was to use this mindset he would be able to not only harness his abilities but make them stronger. He wouldn’t just be able to make a flower grow, he would be able to make it bloom and bud different stems from just one root.” The Witch explained with a smile.
“And what of Jungkook? Surely he would learn more skills that should prove more useful than learning things he won’t ever be able to use.” Namjoon huffs, The Witch shoots The Warlock a sharp glare. “Leave Jungkook to me, you may not have noticed Namjoon but he is finding his affinity to the moon and her creatures. I am not going to deny him his blood right, despite its ugly and twisted circumstances. Should Jungkook wish to be of his father’s kind then I shall be sure to make sure that he does, and then I shall teach him the proper way to use it.” The Witch scoffs.
“And what if he chooses not to be? Say he would rather be a Warlock instead?” Namjoon rebutts, “Then he shall be one, there are plenty of ways to pass or bestow power onto someone and I certainly have more than enough to give him should he decide he would rather be a Warlock.” The Witch laughs as if his question was foolish. And in her mind it was. “Jungkook and Jimin can ask to be anything they desire, and I shall see to it that it happens.” The Witch finalized. “Even a Wizard?” The Warlock scoffs sarcastically, but The Witch remains quiet knowing full and well if either of them ask her of it she would do it.
The Warlock’s eyes widened at her lack of response, “Surely you can’t do such a thing. The Powers of a Wizard only happen every few centuries!” Namjoon sputters, yet The Witch still remains quiet. “Namjoon, I freed a demon from hell, created a Phoenix from a dying man and a heart, do you really believe I could do such things without the possibility that I may know a few things about the power of a wizard?” She questions quietly, almost scared that someone may hear.  The Warlock remains quiet, “I ask that you do not question me of my knowledge any further. My status in the magical society is already disturbed, I don’t need anyone knowing what I may and May not be able to perform magic that may rival powers of a god’s standing.” She whispers before standing from her seat.
“I shall be retiring to bed, thank you for the pleasant day Namjoon.” She spoke softly before disappearing inside the house leaving the awestruck warlock alone on his balcony.

SECURE THE SUGAR BABY TITLE BABE.
Tumblr media
Take all the money sweetness. Honestly my co-workers think I'm their fucking sugar mama half the time. So I think I can safely assume he was like ' this female is adorable. Why is she buying that herself? She needs someone to buy that for her. I have money, I could buy that for her. Imma buy that for her.'
That is my literal thought process as a sugar mama. I'm not actually, I just casually drop 500 dollars on my coworkers because I literally have nothing else to spend it on and it just sits there in my bank account. I literally just work at a fucking restaurant for gods sake.
a guy? offered to buy my stuff? in home depot? am i entering my sugar baby era? am i hot enough to be a sugar baby now?

Chapter 10: Pied Piper
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x Reader
Genre: Fantasy Au
Warnings: Racial slurs, discrimination, torcher, death, murder, mentions of enslavement, kidnapping, mentions of suicide, attempted suicide.
Word Count: 2.5K
Summary: There have always been tales of creatures in the world, all described in different ways. Some labeled as ruthless, others heroic, or even powerful. The world is filled with magic of all types and monsters of every kind. But there are whispers of family so great they could rival the heavens if tempted. A Legacy grown from love, heartache, and magic.
Tumblr media
Through the coming months as the children grew, The Warlock Namjoon visited often. Jungkook and Jimin grew to mumble small words, Jungkook’s first word had been during one of Namjoon’s visits. The wolf child had babbled the word ‘joo’ when trying to refer to Namjoon as he walked away to fetch the child his food. When Jimin said his first word it had been a full word, when the small abstract family took time to play in the garden. The Witch had left him alone far too long for his liking despite just handing him off to Taehyung to care for Jungkook when he squealed ‘mama’. The Witch had nearly dropped Jungkook upon hearing the word.
The two boys eventually grew to crawl, then walk...or run in Jungkook’s case. The child started running before walking only stopping when he hit something or when the nearest person scoops him up before that could happen. Jimin had thankfully learned a bit slower, The Witch and her familiar took the time to teach him by holding him up and placing his little feet on theirs. Hoseok had found it amusing to waltz around the room with the small child on his feet, something Jimin had seemed to enjoy as well since his giggles and squeals could be heard all through the house.
As their mental development grew so did their physical features. Jungkook’s brown hair grew darker and he grew a tad bigger in size than Jimin. Jimin’s hair grew out and became fluffy as his small wings only grew a bit bigger, still not ready to grow to maturity. However both children still had their cute puffy cheeks, a feature The Witch hoped they would keep forever. Namjoon wished the same as well, after all he was far too amused with himself when he squished their cheeks together.
Namjoon often visited The Witch and her children, but sometimes The Witch took the children to him. On those occasions Namjoon and The Witch will take the two children to the small beach near the edge of his home and watch the children play in the wet sand. One time in particular when neither were paying too close attention Jungkook had managed to pick up a small crab and was seconds away from putting the creature into his mouth. If it had not been for Taehyung surely Jungkook would have succeeded and ended up with a snipped tongue. Needless to say, Namjoon had been quite unnerved by the possibility that one of his favorite little sea creatures might have become a small snack for the child.
By the time the two boys were six they grew into running around themselves as well as being able to form proper words and vague sentences. They also developed a sense of favoritism, much to The Witch’s dismay. Jungkook is far fonder of Namjoon than The Witch and far fonder of Taehyung rather than Hoseok. One of those was to be expected but the other caused a pinch of jealousy to stir in The Witch, something The Warlock noticed far too easily and took full pleasure in teasing her about it. Jimin however, grew more affections for The Witch and her familiar than The Warlock and Demon. The Witch expected such a thing when it came to Hoseok, he was after all, all too willing to prance around and dance with the child should a time present itself. Oddly enough The Witch didn’t expect the Fae child to grow fond of her, being Titania's blood and all, but a child doesn’t get to choose their kin, she had supposed as the child often clung to the end of her dresses and robes.
Namjoon’s familiar, Yoongi, is often a middle ground between the two for affections. Jungkook and Jimin being completely and utterly captivated by Yoongi Draconic form, despite Jimin’s understandable first hesitation. The Dragon spends a good equal time with both of them as he is Namjoon’s familiar and Jungkook favors Namjoon while Yoongi has certain affection for Hoseok which means he’s bound to spend time with Jimin. The Witch herself often finds herself enjoying the company of The Dragon as well, for he is older than she originally thought and possesses knowledge she enjoys indulging in. Taehyung finds a certain homeyness in The Dragon with his dark form, something Taehyung would rather not admit.
The Witch is thankful that nothing has threatened her children’s safety since Titana’s attempt to quril. That was until a rather unwelcomed character decided to visit the newly rebuilt town near her home. The town that Yoongi had burned down was rebuilt a year and half after its previous burning, this time the villagers didn’t mind magical beings coming in or out or even staying if they didn’t cause problems. There had been times that the new village chief called upon The Witch to remove a problematic being, at the price that she nor her family are to be executed. A price the chief was more than willing to pay. However the chief didn’t have to call upon her as this ‘problematic being’ came to town.
It had only been a simple summer night when it all started, the children sound asleep in their beds tired from the trip home from Namjoon’s. The Witch herself had been tired and retired to her bed as well, later that night she broke from her sleep being awakened by the soft eerie music of a pan flute. A sound she knew all too well, The Witch flew from her bed and wrapped herself in her robe. She checked the children’s beds only to find them missing, panic sunk in as she knew he must have already had them in his clutches.
She then hurried to wake the sleeping demon and familiar, hastily telling them to summon Namjoon before she ran out her front door and into the dark swamp following the sound of the eerie pan flute. She heard them before she saw them, the sound of children giggling and singing lyricless songs. Only when she met a clearing did she see a fire with twenty or so children dancing around the pit of flames, oddly enough Jimin being the most graceful despite his age and Jungkook being the loudest to sing yet so small compared to the slightly older children.
The Witch tore her gaze from her sons to a boy, no more than sixteen but no less than thirteen, sitting on a stump blowing into a pan flute. The Witch glares at the deceiving looking boy, knowing he is much-much older than his looks. The Witch stood tall and she walked her way over to him, only when she’s right over him does the boy look at her.
“Pan,” She greets coldly, the devilish boy grins at her. “Witch of The East,” He greets back only his tone much more playful. Pan The Pied Piper, the ancient boy who lures children from their beds at night. He picks certain children, boys specifically, to take back with him to his realm and takes the souls of the rest to feed his almost never dying realm. The Witch only knows this because it was her mentor that made him his very flute.
“Why is it that you’ve come from your dwelling little witch?” He laughs as he stands from his seat, the boy standing just at The Witch's shoulders. His forest green eyes bore into The Witch, “Could it be…” He mumbles thoughtfully, “That I have lured your child perhaps?” He grins in an evil fashion. Yet The Witch remained stoic only glaring down at The Demon before her, “Oh No…” He chuckles upon realizing what he has truly done. “It seems I have in fact lured your CHILDREN here haven’t I?” He questions with a giggle, yet already knowing the answer. “My,” He sighs blissfully, “I didn’t know you mothered children, what a prize they will be among my lost boys.” Pan smirks. The Witch bit back from snapping at him, afraid she will only confirm that he has indeed lured her children in his trap.
“Who could they be? Hmm?” He questions gazing over his flock of children, and Witch couldn’t help but flick her eyes over to her sons, weary of their safety. Unbeknownst to her Pan had caught her glance and smirked. “Ohh…” He chuckles, “Those two right there, the Fae boy and the half breed.” he points out with an all too gleeful giggle. “Do not call him a half breed!” The Witch snapped hotly, only to rear back in panic upon realizing her mistake. She played right into his hand and he knew it too as The Demonish boy grinned widely.
“My, My! The Witch of the East had mothered a wolf and Fae child. You sure have been busy since I last saw you!” He laughs, but his look darkens as he quirks his eyebrow and licks his lips. “Although I must say, you have grown into quite the woman since you were a child. That mentor of yours only allowed me a peak as he was offly protective of you.” He mumbles, “I can’t say I blame him, you are indeed something...magnificent.” He continues as his rake over The Witch ever so slowly.
“Keep your eyes with mine Pan or I shall carve them out.” The Witch sneers to him only to cause the boy to laugh. The Witch watches as The Boy slowly begins to circle her, clearly unafraid of her threat. “Come now Love, you really expect me to behave?” He laughs coming to a stop in front of her. “After all, what's a little fun going to harm?” He shrugs as he reaches to touch her.
“I believe the lady said be respectful, but then again how could a child understand something so mature?” A voice cut in, Both Pan’s and The Witch’s head snap in its direction. Relief floods The Witch as Namjoon stepped out from the darkness of the swamp. “Who are you calling a child, Boy?” Pan sneers, turning his body to face Namjoon. “I have lived more than three times your lifetime. If anyone here is a child, other than the obvious children, it is you.” Pan sneered with a hit of sarcasm. “Say what you like, but in my eyes you're just an eager restless boy who has yet to have himself his first woman.” Namjoon chuckles mockingly.
Pan flares at Namjoon’s insult, The Witch takes Pan’s moment distraction to snatch his pan flute from his hand. Pan’s eyes widen as he whips his body to face her, “You are to leave these children alone Pan. Or by the stars I will burn this flute in front of your very eyes.” The Witch sneers. “You wouldn’t dare…” Pan murmurs darkly, “Oh?” The Witch questions, lifting her eyebrow and holding the flute in front of the open flame that rests in the pit. Pan viably flinches and growls threateningly. “Very well!..Very well.” He panics before his voice fades into mutter as The Witch dangles the flute deeper into the flame.
The Witch then holds the flute out to him and just as Pan’s hand grazes it she pulls back. “If either of us finds you in our part of the world we won’t hesitate to end this far overdue lifetime of yours Pan.” The Witch whispers lowly before finally handing it over to him. Pan simply glares as he takes back his flute, with a wave of his hand the children are broken from their hazes. Pan shot The Witch and Warlock one last glare before he disappeared with a snap of his fingers.
The Witch relaxes before rushing over to scoop her children into her arms. Namjoon hot on her heels, The Witch reaches Jungkook first and scoops the boy into her arms as Namjoon takes Jimin into his. The Witch takes a moment to hold the child in her arms tightly before the cries of the other children around her pulls her away.
The Witch looks over at Namjoon before handing Jungkook over to him, once Jungkook is safely in his arms The Witch holds her arms out spanning over the group of children. Soft chats fell from her mouth as a purple smoke rolled out from the swamp and swept over the clearing. The children around them yawned before they were consumed in the purple smoke and as the smoke cleared the children were nowhere to be found.
“They should be safely back in their beds now, I’m sure they’ll think this whole occurrence may have been a dream, so we needn’t worry about any kind of Trauma.” The Witch whispers as she holds her arms out to take one of her children. Namjoon hands her Jimin and The Witch gladly takes the Fae child. Jimin curls himself deeper into his mother’s body, holding on tightly.
A soft smile graces The Witch’s lips, “It's alright my little Fae, I have you now.” The Witch coos. A whine pulls The Witch’s attention from the Fae to the wolf child as he pouts in her direction holding his hands out clenching them begging to be held. The Witch smiles as she shifts the Fae child in her arms to make room for the other, once there's room Namjoon carefully hands the child over. “You needn’t worry my littlest wolf I have you as well.” The Witch giggles, With the two children in her arms the four of them made their way back to her home hidden in the swamp.
By the time they arrived at the gardens the sun peaks dawn, as they enter the garden the four beings are rushed by two familiars and one demon. All concerned for the safety of the children, the two children sleeping soundly in their mother’s arms. “Take them to bed, would you, Taehyung? Hoseok?” The Witch requests, the two addressed men nod and quickly take a child from her. Taehyung taking Jungkook and Hoseok taking Jimin, as the two left with the sleeping children Yoongi followed after the flaming bird giving the two magic casting beings their privacy.
“I thank you Namjoon, for coming despite the late hour.” The Witch smiles, “Not to worry, I wouldn’t be a proper figure in their lives if I didn’t, would I?” Namjoon replied with a bashful smile. “Well…” Namjoon sighs after moments of almost uncomfortable silence “Yoongi and I must be going, I have work to do before I relieve myself any more time to relax. It was a pleasure seeing the boys so soon despite the circumstance,” Namjoon smiles, kindly excusing himself for his departure. The Witch nods her head as The Warlock snaps his fingers for Yoongi to appear at his side, “Oh! And it’s been a pleasure to see you too, Eastern Witch.” The Warlock giggles before clapping his hands together and disappearing back to where he came from. Only to leave The Witch with a heated face and a small shy smile.

After very few hours of rest, The Witch and Warlock set back to work, but by the end of the day they had created a portal to the Fae realm. All they needed to do is activate it. But then there’s the question of how exactly they were going to get Jungkook back. The Witch’s answer had stunned them all however. “We are simply going to walk in. Titana knows that I will be coming for him, she would be an even bigger fool than she already is if she does not.” The Witch had decided.
“The fae realm moves faster than the human realm for humans or anything that isn’t Fae. Jungkook has been there for at least two days, he should have aged at least two weeks since we last saw him. Thankfully he isn't old enough for the two weeks to make a significant impact on his development.” The Witch informs, Taehyung seemed to relax the most upon hearing the news of Jungkook’s development.
“By walking in we won’t waste more time than necessary, our goal is to get Jungkook and get out. We can deal with anyone else after Jungkook is safe.” The Witch concludes before turning to her bag. “Fae’s are extremely sensitive to Iron, so much in fact they make the perfect weapons.” The Witch extorted as she pulled multiple Iron chains and blades. “Fae are crafty creatures and Titana might have Fae close the portal after we enter, we need someone to stay here to guard the portal. If I may, I suggest Yoongi. Fae aren't very fond of draconic creatures and avoid them at many costs.” The Witch educated.
“How is it you know so much about the Fae?” Yoongi questions from his place against the wall. “It isn’t just Fae my dear Dragon, during my training years my mentor educated me well. But, as he would put it, I’ve always had an affinity to any and all magical beings. Thinking back I’m sure he’s right, considering I was somehow able to create Hoseok with a Phoenix heart and free Taehyung from the clutches of hell.” She muses. “I wouldn’t dare tell him that though, his ego is already too big as is.” She comments thoughtlessly.
“So, gentlemen. Now that we have sorted out our plan, Shall we?” She chirps. The three men look at one another before Yoongi simply shrugs, without much care he activated the portal himself. In a pink blast of light a swirling pink portal opens up, “If you would follow me gentlemen.” The Witch directs as she takes the lead into the portal.
Upon entering the group is met with pastel colored nature that seemed to be glowing with an aura like light. The Witch paid the scenery no mind as she marched down the dirt paved path. The group behind her did their best to keep up with her as they marveled at the realm around them. Only when the pathway opened did they pay more attention to what went on around them rather than how it looked.
At the very end of the pathway sat two wooden thrones decorated in flowers of all colors and shapes. In one of them sat a small man, he giggled at stringless puppets he moved with nothing but his fingers. “Harlequin,” The Witch thundered darkly, the giggling man looked up from his dolls and they instantly dropped. He stood from his seat and as he did enormous colorful wings spread from behind him. The man flutters over to The Witch with a playful grin spread across his face. “My, my, The Witch of The East. What, Do we owe the pleasure?” He feigns innocence.
“I have no time for your Fae games Harlequin, Your Wife has my child and I have come to take him back. Even if that means I take her life as I do.” She threatened blatantly. The playful smile of the Fae King’s face is wiped off and replaced with a dark dangerous one. “Well I suppose I can’t stop you now can I?” He questions in a tone much more mature than his previous ones.
“I shall call her for you,” he spoke stoically before gracefully flying away. It's moments later when a tall woman with fiery red hair and clothed in Ivy waltzes in sight, she has large pink layered wings that look almost fragile to the touch. She was gorgeous of course, what else could you expect for the Fae Queen. What really set off hostile tensions was the child in her arms, Jungkook.
He had grown more hair than when she last saw him, it also looked as if he grew a little bigger. He couldn’t be more than two months, thankfully. “Why Hello, dearest.” Titana spoke sweetly, too sweetly. The Witch glares as sparks of lighting pop off her threatening, the flaming bird behind her started to smolder in anger, and The Demon at her side seemed to be consuming himself in darkness as his eyes are black voids and veins of raven appear more vibrantly and spread wider across his throat. The Warlock with them is stunned by their such intense display of power.
“Do you like my child, I found him while out on a stroll. I had to fight off this aggressive flaming bird and monstrous demon to save him.” She taunted as she sat on her wooden throne. “Enough games Titiana! I want my child back!” The Witch snapped, angry bolts of purple lightning flying off of her at her aggression. “Blood for blood my dear,” Titana muses, finally breaking her act. “What is one drop compared to an entire child?!” The Demon sneers, darkness leaking from his voice like liquid poison.
“My blood is royal, you ignorant demon.” Titana sneered back, “And his blood is pure unlike yours.” he rebutted harshly. Titana scoffs and turns her head in a different direction, clearly offended. But it isn’t long before a smirk crawls onto her lips, “You want your child back? Fine.” She snips. With one snap of her fingers Jungkook is gone, the temperamental demon let out a soul shaking rawer. He took a threatening step forward but before he could take anymore Titana swiftly held her hand up, Taehyung fell to his knees as pained cries fell from his lips.
“Keep your demon on a short leash witch, You’ll get your child back.” The Fae Queen sneered in distaste, before releasing her hold on The Demon. As Taehyung heaved in breaths as two small cradles were pushed in by two small fae people from opposite ends of the room. “One child is your beloved ‘Jungkook’, and the other is a small fae child created with my very blood.” The Queen smirked. The Witch’s eyes widened as she looked at the children in both cradles, both looking like her Jungkook. Soft brown hair and big round eyes in all.
“Pick wisely Witch of the East. One child is your own while the other is made of the very thing you stole in the first place. Call this a trade if you will, one I’m sure you’ve done before.” The Queen crackled. Namjoon looked at The Witch worriedly but he was shocked when he saw the passive look on her face. “You really are a fool Titiana.” The Witch spoke in a calm voice, she watched with soft eyes as the children squirmed in their cradles. “I shall be taking both. You never said I couldn’t take them both.” The Witch whispers as she gently lays one hand in each cradle. Both small children take a weak hold on her hand causing a smile to grace The Witch’s face.
“YOU CAN’T! YOU MUST CHOOSE!” The Fae Queen rawred. The Witch simply scoffs, “I shall be taking both.” She finalized sternly. “You truly are foolish Titiana, using a creation of your own blood as a game chip. You're as disgraceful as the Harlot I took Jungkook from. Who is currently casted in gold sitting in my garden as mere ornament, unlike you who will suffer for the rest of your eternal life that you were bested by a mere mortal witch.” The Witch declared harshly. The Witch lifted both children into her arms before turning sharply, “And Titana,” The Witch called over her shoulder. “Should you find the gall to cause disturbance to my family again...I shall pluck the wings from your back and sell you as a harlot slave.” She spat before continuing her way away from the Fae Queen.
Three stunned men follow behind her mindlessly, unsure how to process The Witch’s direct declaration of dominance over the Queen of The Fae. Nothing is said as they step through the portal, Yoongi quickly closes the doorway to the other realm before looking down wide eyed, seeing not one child but two. The Witch looks down and a small smile plays on her lips as she sees one of her two children lose their glamor to show pink baby hair and tiny glass looking wings sprouting from his head and back. “How is that possible?” Namjoon asks as he gently runs his fingers over the back of the Fae child. “Fae children are unable to fully control their powers, the only reason he may have held his glamor for so long may be because of the energy of the Fae Realm.” The Witch assumed.
“Amazing,” Namjoon marvels. The Witch sent Namjoon a soft smile, “Well what shall we name him?” She questioned him. Namjoon jumped at the question, “WE?” he sputtered out. A laugh fell from The Witch’s mouth, “Well it's only fair, you did play a hand in helping him come into my care.” She smiles, “Unless you would like to keep him for yourself, if that's the case Namjoon I’m afraid you’ll have to fight me for him.” The Witch teases. Namjoon sent The Witch a large, dimpled smile, “Visiting permissions is all I ask.” He grins holding his hands up in mock surrender. “I suppose I can allow that,” The Witch smiles.
“What about...Jimin?” Namjoon questions in a soft voice. A smile graced The Witch’s lips, “It's perfect.” She whispers looking down at the two small children in her arms.
