i like that the game lets you ask Halsin about his size (especially since Reah is a wood elf, too, and has never seen another of her “kin” as large as that man) but every time the “we don't know the reason” part comes about i want to scream.

Halsin, your first friend was nature. you are unusually close with your favorite wildshape (bear) to the point that it's giving werewolf vibes. you are a bear of a man, Halsin. Thaniel saw you protecting nature and gave you the bear-y build you're so bonded with.

Thinking about Halsin coping with the stress of the city through sex with Tav, trying to soothe his ravaged nerves by burying his nose into their neck until their scent drives out the unwelcome reminders of death in the streets, of unwashed bodies and pollution toxins in the air. Thinking about him seeking comfort in their warmth, of wanting them clasped around his arousal until he and they are mindlessly driving each through another orgasm, his hands splintering and cracking the edges of the wooden table holding Tav's weight because nothing of this artificial world can withstand his strength. i've been thinking a lot about how the dragonborn being the dragonborn might change their appearances... i had the thought of scales, claws, and fangs, also different eyes, all in all making the dragonborn look more dragon-y. my friend thought more spiritually (with horns, too!), like the armor you can shout into existence i suppose?

the true question however is, if they met the dragonborn before the first full shout (High Hrotghar) and the dragonborn ended up wearing gloves and a deep hood after, when they finally see the dragonborn, changed as they are, how will they react?

i have a few theories, for Kaidan's part i don't think he'd be too freaked out, more comforting, really. Lucien would likely ask to study the differences in dragons vs the dragonborn. Taliesin, though. somehow i imagine Tally would say something to the point of “not much worse than before”
