Alright this nonsense has to stop
So you see this
This is a tournament bracket. We set it up like this for a *reason.*
See the seeds on the side represent who is believed to be most likely to win the event as a whole. If you look closely you’ll see that it is set up so that people with a high seed are up against people with a low seed. You’ll also see that this is set up so that the 4 highest seeds are in different brackets from eachother.
The reason why this is done is so that we don’t have what should be grand finals matchups in round 1. We also do this so low seeds don’t just coast through the competition and make it to grand finals when they don’t actually deserve to be there, they just had no real competition to overcome.
As an added bonus to doing this, bracketing allows for very clear upsets. If you set up the bracket like this everyone knows who your top seeds are meant to be even if you don’t directly state it. So when seed 16 somehow beats seed 1 it really means something.
I know that it’s easier to just throw names on a list in no particular order and be done with, but I urge you to take some time to think about who is most likely to win whatever sexyman poll you’re doing and seed the bracket accordingly.

Hello and welcome to the Mechanisms Poorest Little Meow Meow Bracket!
Linked at the bottom of this post is the form where you can nominate Mechanisms characters you want to see included in this bracket. After I get enough responses, I'll begin the actual bracket with polls, here on Tumblr.
Here are the rules for nominations. They're in the form, but I'll put them in the post too:
Feel free to nominate any characters at all related to the band, from the Mechanisms themselves to album characters to characters from the most obscure lore you can think of
You can nominate as many/few characters as you want, but please only nominate each character once!
The most nominated characters will be the ones who get to be in our bracket and battle it out to see who the most sopping wet, scrunkliest, poorest little meow meow truly is.
(An important note: the Mechanisms themselves will NOT be automatically added to the bracket, you will have to nominate them if you feel they should be in the competition!)
Not a rule, but! Bracket size is still to be determined based on how many responses I get, so please share this with your friends so we can get a nice large pool of competitors!

Would u consider doing something similar to this w album characters only?
I also got questions abt doing a poor little meow meow bracket, and to both of those my answer is no, but only because i do not have the time or energy to do this again for a While bc it is a lot of work
However if anyone wants to make their own bracket, feel free! if you want me to promo it, or if you want advice on how to run it, just message or send an ask and ill happily do it!
