Sailor Moon Sentinel/Guide AU: a story idea

Has anyone thought of how this premise might go?

Like, I thought of this trope almost immediately after I found a reblog over on queenrisa14's page that was originally posted by silvermoon424 about how great SM does about showing positive masculinity. With Mamo being the Empath/Healer/Support with his Psychometry and healing abilities in manga and crystal canon he's the obvious Guide and Usa being the (reluctant but still) Fighter/Troubleshooter/Saviour with the powers she has no idea what to do with but learns as she goes as the Sentinel. The way I see it, if one did this as an actual Senshi AU - rather than some form of aged-up AU where the semi-feral she-cop or detective Sentinel gets with the cute doctor Guide that treats her in the aftermath of or during a case (just as an example) - Usa could have a more hellish time with everything because she's meant to be powered up when in her fuku, right? But being a Sentinel means, since she already is that way naturally before Luna comes along, that the single dial she's already having trouble with keeping below an eight on a good day, because her instincts came online on her fourteenth birthday, has cranked itself and an additional four to nine dials she wasn't aware of to ten when she transforms. Mamo could be completely unaware he's a Guide, and thus not on the list for Usa to test compatibility at the time, because he's one of the hella rare ones who went online super early due to his accident, not to mention the rampant sexism where 99 times out of 100 the Guide's a woman and the Sentinel's a man, and his Psychometry and status as the reincarnated Prince isn't helping by amplifying his power as a Guide while also messing with, and thus sabotaging, the results of the Guide Test. Hell, for this AU, (if one is so inclined to make it that way, one doesn't have to if not) one could also have it be that not only are Sentinel's rare but because of that rarity it isn't out of the ordinary for one Sentinel to have multiple Guides; called a Domain. There's the Main Guide(s), that is the sexual/romantic/closest Guide(s) depending on the sexuality and openness of the Sentinel and Guides, and the Support Guides, the one or more other Guides a Sentinel has found compatibility with for when their Main Guide(s) can't be or isn't around but there's no sense to be any more intimate than when they first met so these Guides are allowed to have other relations with others who aren't their Sentinel and fellow Guides if they so choose. Especially if the Sentinel is 'powerful' in whatever sense. It's to keep the sense the Main Guide isn't in danger of becoming an unwitting prisoner/hostage/abuse victim to their Sentinel out of the public concerns. So Usa has her Mamo-chan as her Main Guide and her Senshi as her Support Guides, they work together like a web, when he can't be there but in the event one wants the girls to have a love life they can because Sentinels are only Tyrants over their Domain, instead of the Protectors of their Domain, when they have some form of mental illness or personality disorder not unlike those who form Cults. Because Usa would never want to control who her friends love or want to share their time with or where they go. She'd want them to be happy and if her Domain expands because of it, because all under a Sentinel's umbrella, even if not one of their Guides, or part of another, subordinate, Sentinel's Domain is part of their Domain, then all the better!

Innocent Royal Affairs 2

This one is a bit of an AU. It features King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity but its different from my usual universe. THere is no Shitennou in this one as it was supposed to be part of a writing event with some other writers. That project stalled indefinitely and I've had this chapter ready to go for over two years. So with the help of @heavyheartedprinceofearth editing it, I am finally posting it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Slave Maid Witch Queen 4

So we come to the ending of y origin story of Queen Beryl. Though I used it in conjunction with @sailormoonrarepairweek and this year's free day prompt I have had this idea for a while. The writing event just finally made me finally get the story out of my head. I know it would be long but I never realized it would come out to be the length of "Of Mice and Men." This length made me decide I need to focus on my WIPs without getting any other new projects for the foreseeable future. I won't want to risk burnout.

A most happy birthday to the Sailor of War and Passion, Mars! While I am not taking part in the birthday prompts for her this year, know I am working on stories where she is the focus such as "Dating a Married Couple." I do feel a little bad I don't have a pure Jadeite x Mars story in the pipeline right now BUT I have work to focus and get some stuff done.

Mesdames, messieurs et chers amis, je vous souhaite une bonne soirée. The third part of my story I wrote for @sailormoonrarepairweek. I have to say this story really did a number on me and it will be why I won't be doing any of the Mars/Jadeite entries this year for @senshixshitennouweeks. There are just some times you have to skip writing events to make sure your other WIPs continue. Such a shame though as I am a huge fan of the Mars/Jadeite dynamic.

Anyways, here is the third entry to Slave Maid Witch Queen. Something happens to one of my OCs which...well you'll have to read to find out.

She is talking with her friends, the other sailor scouts, he is looking her with love. Because he loves her, really. Kunzite have a ponytail because i think would be cool play with his hair. I’m a pretty horrible person and not design a new outfit for he, but i don’t had any time to do that.

One thing I really love about UsaMamo is that that she can tell when Mamoru is not Mamoru but says things you’d think she’d like to hear but he would never say. Real Mamo-chan always trumps any ooc dream Mamo-chan once she really gets to know him.

The odd thing is when I think about USagi in the 90s anime, one of her biggest mistakes is when she doesn't realize something is wrong with Mamoru when he is being taken over by Nehelania. I mean he's become obsessed with mirrors to an unhealthy level and Usagi is just like, "I'll give you some space." Not the best writing in the series.

I feel called out hehe

My entry focused on the the origin of Queen Beryl. It will showcase the four stages of her life. In this first entry, a young Beryl is abducted from her home and must find a way to escape and find help.

Stop saying Usagi can still be Queen of Earth when you don't have her marrying or loving Mamoru!

Seriously people!

The way I see it, the reason the Great Freeze or whatever other disaster(s) that resulted in Crystal Tokyo, because something else might cause it in different timelines, comes about is because when Usa and Mamo marry with love binding them, not obligation or fate telling them so, it causes a knock-on effect. The two willingly coming together for so powerful a reason causes some form of upset in the universe/cosmos, kind of like how hurricanes are formed, and when all is said and done it causes them to become King and Queen once everything has been 'fixed'; because it's their love for one another and what they know each-other cares for combined that helps them 'fix' whatever had been broken. But! What I'm talking about is when people don't want to pair her with Mamoru and she still becomes Queen of Earth, either because 'that's her fate' or because she still marries Mamoru but loves someone else. I am of the opinion that if Usa and/or Mamo don't love one another when they get married, or simply not get married at all because they want to be with someone else, (because I have no doubts whatsoever that Setsuna would let either be unhappy if they didn't have to, especially when she can just as easily tell them that it's their true and pure love for one another that brings it about, if not in so many words) then whatever caused CT is just not going to happen. Like, at all. And regarding those few who make her Queen of Earth despite not marrying Mamoru at all, well I find that annoying. Why? Because she's the Lunarian Princess becoming Queen of Earth without having married the Terran Prince, who actually has proper claim to the Planetary Throne as said by Helios to become King. Like, unless the guy's dead and he's given instructions to Helios that he is bequeathing his Throne to Usagi/Serenity and/or her Line until his reincarnation's rebirth, to which can be a kinda Sword in the Stone scenario by using the Golden Crystal, there's no way she'd take over as Queen without being called a Usurper or Pretender to the Throne. "But what about ChibiUsa!" I hear you cry. What about her? I'm not saying she's not important, some of the things they'd been through only happened because of her presence, but I'm also not saying she'll be killed off or become non-existent. She disappeared in the 90's anime when the possibility that Mamoru, her Papa's past self, would be forever under Nehelania's spell and Usagi, her Mama's past self, killed off was a thing. But! Hear me out. What if she disappeared not because she wasn't going to be born but because she was now in a past time she wasn't supposed to be in as an impossibility? It hurt her so much, not because she was becoming unborn but because Time itself was trying to forcefully put her where she's a possibility and she was fighting to stay where she was, a past that wouldn't result in her conception or birth. And she returned because she'd been fighting to stay when she 'disappeared' that Time had no choice but to put her back when she became a possibility again.

Again, if Usa and Mamo don't marry out of love, but out of obligation or 'for ChibiUsa', then whatever disaster that resulted in CT's formation isn't going to happen. As such, she cannot, should not, be called Queen of Earth.

I have yet to find anything that does.
