Cool little titbit we got at an European Town hall at work today
(I'm trying to get in a band 2 position)
I guess I'll feel less paranoid now whenever I think what I'm lacking is a different pair of genitals
So. I applied for another internal position in my company (5th one since I started here). Second time I try to convince someone I could analyse the fuck out of some data, actually. It didn't pan out, again.
Last time I tried for this department I was told I lacked a "global vision", whatever that means. So I told my bosses to include me in European Supply Chain projects choke full of team leaders and people who just make more money than I do.
I didn't lack a global vision this time. But I still lost to some dude who has a better understanding of project management (that I also have). With each interview the feedback gets more diffuse. I wonder if they'll ever straight up tell me "you didn't pass the vibe check but this dude did, cheers. He'll be asking you for pointers on how to do his job on these upcoming weeks"

Found a flat I liked, made an offer, checked with my bank that I could in fact make that offer, they're telling me tomorrow if I get it or what
Mom has a view
I've been trying to buy a home these days (my landlords are coming back to Spain in August and they want their stupid flat back. The nerve) and fuck. I'm depressed. The housing market in Madrid has made me depressed.
Maybe I'll buy a house in some remote village in Toledo and use the rest of my money to hire a helicopter to bring me to the office once a month (?)
I told my mother about this evil plan of mine and she's 100% on board:
"You run for mayor of that shitty village, win, and earn a living without ever having to leave again"
"All you have to do is look for European grants to raise cattle, buy a single sheep and you'll get enough money to remodel your mansion"

From La Fiesta Tech to Foxbury.
Blossom Moonbeam, Klara Vonderstein, William Williamson, Stella Terrano, Frances J. Worthington III, Jasmine Rai, Zoe Zimmerman and Gunnar Roque.
Same as my previous post, this household lives in Foxbury (Tidal tower). As there is no "Political Science" degree in TS4, Klara is studying "Language and Literature", all the others are studying for the correct degree. Blossom, William, Stella and Frances are here for a distinguished major (Biology, Economics, Physics, Economics).
Now I just need a band GP/EP for the Shifting Paradymes...

Started watching Oppenheimer so I could have an informed reason to get mad when it inevitably wins Oscars and it's going terrific. I hate it here
I wasn't expecting anything good tbh, biopics shouldn't exist and Christopher Nolan's films shouldn't either but wow. Is even worse than I expected.

Bought this book a couple years ago solely because a cute girl in a bookstore in Bristol told me it was great. Genuinely can't get over this woman's writing. Kinda makes me want to talk to strangers more to see what fucked up thing they're into
