Meet the brand new PSP — Production Services Portugal. PSP is a leading player in production services, creating amazing experiences for the international community. They are based in a blue, warm and amazing country that are proud to present to the whole world.
Inspired by their need for change, their energetic personality, and Portugal’s beauty, I created a new visual identity with distortioned patters mixed with textures of Portugal.
While keeping their logo, the main tasks of this project consisted of creating:

A digital presentation’s cover
A6 printed Lisbon guide
A notebook’s cover
A totebag
A5 printed production booklet

Type Experiment
On this project we were assigned making a new font by looking at everyday objects. With a random Christmas bow I had left at home, I drew all the letters of the English alphabet. They all had to have the same length of ribbon, the same height and width, while avoiding detaching any part of the letter. The font was applied on a vintage store ad that announced new adidas products.

This one’s, entitled “Peroka” (dickie), theme was erotica. It was during a creative block that the first weird penis was drawn randomly in a notebook, inspiring this piece. This is the result of probably the most fun I’ve ever had with a project.

Branding, Poster and Music Album Design
Visual identity of a records company — Dual Records — and two of its bands, regarding two different music genres.
This company would mainly work on two music genres: Alternative Rock and Hip Hop. To express that exactly, I imagined two different bands (Fuse and ZQWE) to represent each one of those genres, and designed for each a logo, a debut album, an advertisement poster and a ticket for their concert. On top of this, I designed two pages of Dual Records’ website: their home page and the info page about one of the bands.

You Dream. We do.
A book to show the beauty of Portugal to new clients of the company Production Services Portugal, PSP.
The mood of this project is very light and cheerful, and the goal is to showcase Portugal as fun and charmful. It is not a travel guide.
After selecting among many photographs, I digitally illustrated on them, with collages, surreal colors and doodles. Each picture is captioned by a perky sentence. Along with the illustrations, there's some digitally drawn Portuguese words that describe Portugal (like Discovery, Sea, “Saudade”, to name a few).

Video Animation, Sound, Visual Narrative
On this student project, I had to choose a sound and translate, based on it, a visual narrative without a single word written. It could be in any way, through pictures, through an album... and I set myself to do a video animation, in order to expand my bounderies and knowledge — it was my first contcat with Adobe After Effects, and it sure was a challenge.
So I chose Hans Zimmer's Pilot, one of Blade Runner 2049's soundtracks. This animation intents to represent a distopyan future's environment, based on the perfect form of the circle. It takes inspiration from this film and its predecedent's colors, using various organic textures along the way.

Caligraphy vs. Labelling
Shaam is a simulated shampoo whose targeted audience, that is mostly female, is practical and worry-free in the matter of hair care. The illustration in the packaging reflects the quantity of products and care that our hair needs, and how it fills up the bathroom. This product’s goal is to facilitate our lives: it’s simple, it doesn’t have any fictitious descriptions and too much of an exquisite design.
Its strange and informal name, curvy logotype and illustration with vibrating colours refer to the worry-freed life that we had in childhood.

For this project, I was assigned the backgrounds, vehicles and screens (Planner App simplified). The characters were designed by Hélio Frazão.
