My favorite frame in all of dragon ball bc they didn’t have to draw that but they did 💀

Hey all, you know how internet searches suck now? When the results are awful, full-of-AI, death-of-the-internet levels of bad?
Start appending date constraints to your searches - "before:2023".
My results have gone from 90% AI bullshit to ~60% usable - which frankly at this point is a huge improvement.

Between real life constraints and my posts’ lack of visibility on this site, I’m done posting here. I’ll be on tumblr still to enjoy scrolling in my rare free time. People are welcome to come to this blog to enjoy the archived hundred or so posts of art and fic they’ve missed over the years. I’ll still be active on discord, but bye, Tumblr 👋

For @rinweek2023 Day 4, Rin’s Birthday
Words: 803
Pairing: Kakashi/Obito/Rin
Rating: G
Title: Migraine
Rin wakes to the sensation of an elephant sitting heavy and immovable on her head. Rolling into her pillow does nothing to abate the crushing sensation, even though gravity now defies that possibility. She groans. She knows what this means, especially when her stomach gives its two cents with a sudden lurch.
“Happy birthday to y–”
“Not now.” Rin shakes her head, rubbing her pounding forehead into her pillow, praying to everything that is holy that Obito will listen to her and immediately cease the birthday singing.
“Ha—Rin?” Obito plops down beside her.
The mattress shifts under his weight, tilting Rin so her head lifts from the meager sanctuary of her pillow. Obito’s hand is there immediately, warm and merciful against her skin, cupping around her forehead.
Rin whimpers and squeezes her eyes shut.
“Oh, no!”
“Too loud, too loud,” Rin whispers.
“Not on your birthday.” Obito massages Rin’s forehead before kissing her cheek.
“Here,” Kakashi’s voice calls from across the room.
Rin doesn’t have to open her eyes to know when Kakashi crosses the room to meet them. She can smell the soap and water on his skin, pungent and fresh as he draws close. Her senses are always sharp when she’s in this state. Too sharp for her liking.
“Kakashi,” Obito whispers, though, adorably, he’s still too harsh in Rin’s ear, “Rin’s having a migr–”
“I know what she’s having,” Kakashi huffs before cupping his hand around Rin’s and depositing a small pill into her palm. “Why do you think I brought this?”
“Water?” Rin requests.
Kakashi curves calloused fingers around the knuckles of Rin’s other hand and guides her palm to the cold, smooth kiss of glass. “Of course. You’ll have to sit up.”
“Come on, Babe,” Obito says, hoisting Rin gingerly by the shoulders.
Even with her boyfriends’ help, moving doesn’t come easy. Rin wants to curl into a ball, to cover herself in heavy blankets and darkness until all sensation fades away. But she knows doing that won’t be enough. She’s better off taking her medicine early. Maybe, if she’s caught it soon enough, she can beat this thing and salvage some of her birthday.
“Kakashi,” Obito says with a loaded message in his voice that literally goes over Rin’s head as she tosses back the pill and swallows it with a gulp of water. “You know this means we’ll have to cancel the–”
“What do you need from us, Rin?” Kakashi’s voice is also loaded with many words unspoken between Rin’s boyfriend.
She’s grateful for the silence of their conversation. She’s grateful for the gentleness with which Obito lies her back down and tucks the blanket up to her chin. She is so grateful for the softness of his kiss as his lips caress the side of her neck.
Rin leans into Obito and hums. “More of that. Kakashi, get in here.”
“Are you sure?”
“Don’t question her, Kakashi,” Obito chides softly. “It’s Rin’s birthday. We’ll do whatever she wants.”
Rin shivers, recalling birthdays past where Obito had spoken those exact words when Rin felt well enough to use the bed for more fruitful purposes than being nursed. Now, as Kakashi slides beneath the covers beside her, Rin can only appreciate her boyfriends’ bodies for the soothing heat they can provide her. It feels like every inch of her skin is tainted, vibrating with pain—until their physical contact dulls those horrid sensations.
“Hey,” Kakashi whispers softly against the shell of Rin’s ear, “we’re here. We’ll spend the whole day here if you want.”
“I’m sorry,” Rin says, cringing as it occurs to her that there exists a world beyond this bedroom. “You two probably planned something so…so thoughtful.”
“We can still be thoughtful now,” Kakashi says, winding his arms around Rin’s waist and hugging her close. “Don’t apologize to us.”
“It’s probably our fault you have a migraine in the first place,” Obito says.
“Speak for yourself, Loudmouth,” Kakashi says.
“Kakashi,” Rin scolds.
Kakashi rolls his eyes. “Maybe I shouldn’t have poured you that wine.”
“Maybe?” Obito snorts.
“Both of you,” Rin says, wrapping her arms around her boys and drawing them into her. “Quiet.”
“Right,” Obito says, “quiet.”
“Sorry, Rin,” Kakashi says, snuggling his cheek into her. “Happy birthday.”
“We love you,” Obito says before planting a soft kiss on Rin’s shoulder.
The love she feels between them is a palpable, savory thing. Rin sighs into her pillow, accepting the lovers on either side of her as her shields against the world until this untimely migraine will pass. Eventually, the sensations around her will come with less pain, and then she’ll gladly welcome them. She’ll be happy to explore the world outside with her boys, to celebrate her birthday belatedly once she’s feeling like herself again. For now, this is the happiest she can be on her birthday.
This is more than she could ever want.

Why do you reblog your own fics so much?
Because someone might as well!? And look at this. Look. At. This.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Does this look right to you??
These are just the last three fics I wrote. I appreciate the likes, believe me I do, but you have to understand. Likes do nothing for content creators. It’s the reblogs. Because that’s how you find shit on your dashboard. Through reblogs. Not likes. This isn’t twitter or tiktok or instagram. This is a website that’s run by the reblog system.
Reblogging helps content creators put their stuff out there. Why do you think so many people stopped writing fanfic and creating beautiful fanart and edits? It’s because they put in hours of work and don’t get nearly enough notes for their masterpieces. Yes we do this because we enjoy it but like...some validation won’t hurt. A boost of confidence here and there might be all someone needs to finish whatever thing they started and left.
Anyway, I’m still going to reblog my shit...
