Hello! I randomly came across your art on my feed, first of all its absolutely fckn amazing. You’re are very talented and all of it is so beautiful, but I’ve also seen that you’re creating art for a game, and/or making a new game in general. Really curious as to what game, if you’re able to tell me! It looks amazing! I’m a sucker for indie farm/fantasy type games! Tysm ♥️
thank you!
oh yay i get to talk about sprite festival
its set in a fantasy world where these little 4 legged creatures are spirits that come in many varieties. they are based on a species my friend/the creator made called chowlings but other species will be in the game.
it's a sandbox / rpg game where players will be able to customize their home/plot of land and even their own character with an editable spritesheet. there will be fighting, battling and farming elements as well.
base sprite vs customized one
there are a few artists working on it, not just me, but i do most of the exterior tileset, specifically the natural stuff
RN i am working on an inner forest explorable biome which will be more ancient, with densely packed giant trees and ruins and stuff.
the little walking guy i was working on today is based on this concept by the creator:
no page yet for the game but we are aiming for kickstarter this year. i will post more about it when i'm able!
here's a video of the UI test as a treat! i dont have a lot of nice looking stuff to show off cos it all gets put together by someone else in the engine so lol
