all I know is I wish we got diegetic song from them more. Bang’s few lines in the glue song were nice I want more of that.

Are we going to not talk about how Beep in “how do cell phones work” at the end has a flip phone? And Ash (341A) also has one.

More fun for the animators to draw and for the viewers to watch than just a rectangle, I’m guessing.

The Storybots also sort of have a sort of retro-futuristic theming to their little computer world so that might be part of it too.

As for an in-universe explanation… Hap doesn’t pay them they can’t afford iphone.

then they started fighting Covid precautions.

now my parents think climate change is a myth.

now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".

As for the rest of your ask I haven’t watched Storybots in forever either people just keep sending me asks about it, which is probably part of how awkward my responses have been. I like to think I’m more confident-sounding in my own, non-ask posts.

Kinitopet’s really intriguing I like him. My interest in axolotls and aquatic creaturesjust being really cool have definitely extended that interest. Sort of between fixations though right now out of necessity because of real life stuff. When things cool down I have a backlog of games I’m excited to get into. I’ve had Psychonauts 2 since Christmas but I haven’t gotten around to playing it yet because I know the second I start it will become all-consuming. Also been eyeing the Pokemon infinite fusion fangame. And I could play more mushroom musume, that would be fun.

Thanks for checking in with me before you go. You didn’t need to do that but you still thought of me. It’s nice to know I exist in the minds of others, even if they think I’m awkward and weird.

Hey Mage! Apologies for butting in, but do you constantly get notifications from a certain individual who constantly raves about their love for Beep, how she's "mistreated", and sometimes asks random yet weird questions about the StoryBots? I've been getting messages from various different people about the matter, and I personally wanna get to the bottom of this. (This is StonerBang btw.)

Oh that? Yeah. The “beep is mistreated” one seemed nice enough and they stopped when I made it clear enough they were bothering me with the many slight variations of the same message. But like I know the feeling. Back when you didn’t need to log in to send anons I didn’t even have an account I just picked a blog that was into the thing I was currently fixated on and Bothered Them.

I tried not to be too harsh. I’m not actually sure if they left or are one or all of the anons that keep sending Storybots asks.

Whenever I get an ask it’s almost always Storybots related and usually kind of nonsensical.

Like I don’t know man is this supposed to be anon hate? Because being part of the team at all is a compliment as far as I’m concerned.

saw someone on instagram say “you shouldn’t post your art until it’s good” and that comment filled me with rage so i want to say to every beginner artist or artist who feels their art is not improving no matter how long they’ve been at it. i love you and i love your art and everything you post bears part of you and that is so beautiful. block everyone who says otherwise they are not entitled to freely consume what they rag on.
