New Macau Airsoft FB group

Hi,

Few months back Facebook decided to shutdown our Macau Airsoft group & Buynsell group. It was an old group for local Airsofters since the golden days of Airsoft in Macau, so yes its really old. But due to some violations it was shutdown and now deleted.

Ive been busy but now I have time, I created a new group for players in Macau. This time we will make sure to monitor the posts to prevent violating any FB policies so we wont get shutdown again.

University of Saint Joseph’s Leadership training through Airsoft.

Good evening Airsofters,

Just few days ago the University of Saint Joseph sent their students to training camp at W28 Centre, in order to create a platoon of special ELITE students and outstanding leaders among them. April 12th 2017, University of Saint Joesph & the English Debate Society organized a leadership training event and did it through Airsoft.

The event had received an overwhelming response from the students from different majors and reached the maximum amount of people that could join. The event gathered 40 players to play against each other with teams of 20 against 20  within the team of 20 are 3 squads and each squad will have 1 leader/captain leading his/her squad while coordinating with the other squads through many different methods such as preplanning, comms through radio, hand gestures or even vocally like shouting.

Of course everyone in the squad will be taking turns in being the leader so that everyone gets the chance to as the event is to train everyones leadership and cooperation skills. The aim isn’t to win each round of Airsoft games but to successfully lead your team and properly co-op with other squads but you cannot deny that winning makes the victory much sweeter.

Thanks to the amazing organizers the students were able to enjoy and experience the intensity of Airsoft. Leadership training through Airsoft can be pretty hard, if you are careless and do not do it right it’ll cause your whole squad to panic thus going down in just few seconds which is a disadvantage for the other squads. But good thing there were experienced players in both sides of the team which helped lead squads and assisted the new players in becoming a better leader, fortunately one of the students had uploaded videos of the event if anyone is curious how it turned out, check the link down below.

Everyone enjoyed the event and had lots of great experience, unfortunately it rained after the 4th Airsoft game so the other games after had to be canceled nevertheless the platoon of newly trained elites enjoyed their day gaining whole bunch of experience. Good evening Airsofters,

We will be sharing some news about our beloved local play site “Lisboa hill”, there has been some posts in our local Facebook group “Macau Airsoft Group” regarding the play site, us and other local players are worried whether or not our last public airsoft site “Lisboa hill” will still be accessible due to some construction/plans near the entrance gate of the play site, the gate has been locked again as you can see with the picture and the only pictures we can provide at this moment. It is obviously not allowed access to right now so please do NOT climb over the fence or anything, workers of the construction will most likely prevent anyone from entering, despite that some members said they were still let in to play in the building though they were not allowed to shoot in the grass field near the entrance but we still recommend you to wait for them to cease construction.

Although unsure when constructions will be finished, members in MAG are positive that the play site “Lisboa hill” will be accessible as soon as they conclude, while some members think we most likely won’t be able to play again in the grass field area of Lisboa hill others believe it is still possible to play in the grass field from the middle to the far end area and to begin with, local players never did play in the grass field near the entrance but the BBs do end up flying all the way there, one of the members suggest putting up good netting of the area to prevent BBs flying outside of the play site and any damage that it could possibly do to public property.

Anyways local Airsofters are getting worried with the possibility of losing the last public play site in Macao and are trying to find new places to play in spite of Macao being such a small city. So if you do know any new spots make sure to share the happiness.

Good evening Airsofters!

We have some news that just recently Lisboa hill is now closed for “Police training”, we do not know how long it will take for them to re-open Lisboa hill for us to play in and if they will still open the play site to the public for Airsoft.

As far as we know Lisboa hill is private property so we are not sure why the police closed it down or if they even have the authority to, but if anyone knows anything please update us all, maybe they are just trying out new training scenarios and decided to train in lisboa hill but didn’t want other players to interfere.

So please notify everyone that the place is not playable at the moment, so that others will not waste their time going to lisboa hill for a game to find out they can’t play.

I believe other airsoft teams in Macao are already on the look out for new play sites to play in, If you know a place that is playable feel free to let us know by email.

On “7/17/2015” at Lisboa hill “葡亰花園” Was a pretty quiet Saturday but local and new players were still able to enjoy few games of airsoft.

It was a really hot day but we enjoyed a great game of TDMs and CQB, no matter how bad or hot the weather is there are still people who will come up to the hill and have few games of airsoft!

We have 2 bad news for everyone, today i heard that Kaho Jungle “九澳堤壩馬路, 路環” is now unavailable for play as all the trees and grass were mowed and flatten etc. They have a plan for the Kaho area so the play site will now be unavailable as there are no more covers at all and soon will not be allowed to play in, we might post some pictures later.

Also Maxs store “IPSC” near by Guia mountain will soon be closing down, if you want to buy anything or help him out before the shop closes, you can go visit him there!

Today sure was a great day for airsoft, 20 - 30 players played together at Lisboa hill, thank you everyone for todays game! Pictures were screenshots from one of the team members video.

Last Friday nights game was hosted by Jagers and of maximum 12 players, most of the members from Jagers participated along with some Operater X and guests, the main event of the night was the hazing of a certain member of Jagers, where as he is the sole survivor against everyone that turned into zombies. 

They sure had a thrilling night!

We had 2 groups that played with each other, One group is called Jaegers and the other unknown group. (If you know this group, please do tell me so I can mention their group name in our page.)

Macau teams go all the way to HK just to participate in the Milsim operation STELLA although not a hardcore op, it is still a big and well managed game. Macau teams are Jägers and Operater X with fellow hong kong teams!
