This work makes me feel proud because between using other brushes to line and shade, it has helped me little by little find my style. I don't know, there's something about this job that makes me feel very proud. I simply loved the result!

It's the March's Double Meme that I made with my dear friend of MANY years @nadeshikoshirogi to whom I'm grateful for accepting my invitation to this dynamic (I love you so much Gabi!! 💜✨️)

We both love Kigsman, so it was an opportunity to be able to draw Eggsy for the first time. I have been in constant reflection to improve and change my digital coloring, so I experimented with other brushes and shading in a lighter way (you know, less is more) and honestly, I loved the result, but I have to improve when it comes to paint and in what direction.

The truth is I don't care that I was late in make this little artist challenge.

I really liked it and it helped me a lot to experiment with the various brushes I have in CSP. The last two brushes, I'm considering using more often and others I found inspired me to make black and white drawings. Yup, it's my Raimundo from Xiaolin Showdown in his 30s, I'm still fascinated by how I designed it, which makes me get interesting plans, you'll see. And using these colors UFFFF now I want to do it more often!

I'm very grateful to @ale.rruiz for participating with me in that challenge and sharing the same pleasure that we have with W.I.T.C.H. and with Will! (My all-time favorite character is Hay Lin, but Will has a special place in my heart). The color palette and light effects are something that I'm proud of in this work, and as for the drawing, I like the result, but all this February I have been questioning many things in my life, including my style. I don't think it will change that much, but I want to start experimenting with more things. Little by little you will see. By the way, please look at Ale's work, it's super beautiful and see the experimental perspective that turned out wonderfully!!!

Now that I'm rewatching Xiaolin Showdown, of course I was going to draw Raimundo. The funny thing is that since the series has grown with me (so to speak) I had that feeling that I should draw Rai in his 30, since drawing him with the design of Showdown or Chronicles wasn't something that suited me.

I'm very happy with my design of Raimundo at 30 years old, he looked good and handsome hehehe. I really like the idea of ​​drawing the other monks in their 30s, and I will most likely do it.

I wanted to color this Rai digitally, but the temptation to use washi-tape for his shirt wins me over too. Maybe it will end up being a mix medium.

Carmen runs away from home and her responsibilities because they bore her, she likes adventure and the adrenaline. And when these two cross paths in a forest, the chemistry and adventure begins.

Red Crackle Week

Day 3: Tragedy

When reading the word "tragedy" the scene from the KDrama "The Glory" came to mind (I highly recommend it. It's VERY GOOD!) So I decided to recreate that scene but with Red Crackle and the following bonus:

"Two years later. They cross paths again. Again by protecting each other out of unconditional love. They are safe in recovery. She achieved her caper, thanks to him taking the role of decoy, accepting the consequences of being labeled as "traitor". However, everything is fine, for now. Or maybe forever, since this time they will never lose each other again."

Yep, again, it's a sketch. I don't know if it's better to leave it like this, or at least give it some small details. I liked the result without having so much color and shadow.

Red Crackle Week 2024

Day 1: AU

Carmen!Witch and Grey!Rogue! To be honest, I don't consider myself good with the fantasy theme because I find designing clothes and the many details it has a challenge, however, I wanted to challenge myself to create this and I LOVE IT! I'm also very proud because I have learned so much in anatomy that for this composition I didn't need a reference! This is a pose done absolutely by my 8"D

Gray as Rogue "gets" things for Carmen's spells while Carmer creates tools for Gray to achieve his feats with greater effectively (Carmen created a "Crackle Rod" for him in a magical and natural way). Their methods may be very questionable, but they don't harm anyone, well, only the upper classes with unfair acts towards the people.

As I mentioned in a post on my fandoms account, I didn't want to finish this work in a hurry because then I don't give my best and it makes me angry. So respect my work process and here's the sketch. But it's a fact that I will finish it this year.

It's my new selfportrait, I liked it a lot but at the same time I realized many things, for example to give myself more time and not do things without having planned them well. Even so, I gave my best and that makes me happy.

THE DOUBLE MEME IS BACK!!! My friend @jackce and I love this sociopath named Izaya Orihara from the anime Durarara. Last year I watched all Durarara again, my love for this crazy character returned and since I really love this challenge where a character is redrawn with the style of each illustrator, I wanted to invite her so we could both remember this memorable character for... for literally being VERY him lol.

Day 8

La Femme Rouge

Nope, of course I hadn't forgotten the last day!

It happens that I drew this work SINCE March of last year! I was little by little coloring but halfway through the year I left it for other pending projects and new projects that came into my life. This event arrived and when I saw the last day I thought "For this day I will finish my Carmen in the light of the Moon!"

As I improved and took anatomy classes, I decided to draw my Carmen again hehehe, I took all the time necessary to experiment to improve my digital work and VOILA!!! This is how it turned out AND I LOVE IT!!! I'm so happy with the result, with all the time I dedicated to giving it my best! I also decided to upload it today (I finished it yesterday) because curiously, today is a Full Moon in Leo! And let's remember that our beautiful Carmen Sandiego is Leo UwU

Thank you very much for this beautiful event for the great series that is Carmen Sandiego! I had fun, I learned, I experimented a lot with my work and I got to know the magnificent art of this perhaps small but talented community!

Original Series

Here the second part! I loved all the costumes in both parts, but I consider the ones in this second part to be my favorites hehehehe.

Fun Fact: January 21st is my fifth anniversary of starting to watch Carmen Sandiego. It's a day that is difficult for me to forget, very fun and that at night I will begin to see Carmen Sandiego was a finishing touch to that day and the beginning of a bond with Carmen and almost all of the characthers.

The series helped me a lot in personal areas, in terms of trusting myself, my ideals, and life goals. Carmen's phrase "What can I say? I chose my path." marked me so much, I can't describe it correctly, I can only say that she is an important reference in my life currently (and even more so now that I'm going through an 8"D existential crisis) And I'm so grateful to this series for everything it has helped me over the past 5 years.

Day 5 x 6

AU x Dress Up

Between my timing and noticing that the outfits I wanted to wear were like they were basically in an AU, that's why I decided to combine both days. Same, due to my time, I can only do sketches, but I will finish them in their respective time.

So here come the explanation:

Red Crackle x Scoop Ahoy: The same year that Carmen Sandiego premiered, the third season of Stranger Things also premiered and with that came Steve and Robin's iconic Scoop Ahoy outfits. I've been wanting to draw Carmen and Gray in such outfits for YEARS, so here they are! This sketch and more moments with these outfits with MY OTPs will arrive until October.

Gray x Stranger Things: Joe Keery looks a lot like Gray, so every time I see a Joe/Steve outfit, I imagine Gray and Gray ALWAYS looks great and handsome. So FINALLY I was made to draw him in the clothes from the Coca Cola commercial from season three. More Joe/Steve outfit in Gray in the future hahaha.

Carmen Burlesque: A few weeks ago I played a video game called "One Night Burlesque and I LOVED IT! I loved the protagonist named Holly, and also her outfits, which caused me to imagine Carmen in Holly's outfit and here is the result. Maybe I will finish it by the end February or on some special date.

Day 4

VILE-sone/OC

OK,OK, Please let me explain please. First, I'm not one to create OCs for series. I had already planned to do this last year, it was months of planning and a lot of desire to create these outfits to pay tribute to the splendid and beautiful taste in fashion that Carmen Sandiego has.

Today marks 5 years since the premiere of this wonderful series that has helped me a lot as a person. Carmen has inspired me a lot to improve myself as a person, creating my own path is correct when done with integrity and helping others. This video with outfits inspired by her is one of the ways I wanted to celebrate and thank her for this serie. It's the first part, the second will be on Day 7.

I also thought about how no one has done something like this with such beautiful clothing design in the series! I had to do it. I hope you like it!

Day 3

Favourite moment

I have TOO MANY favorite scenes. But this one, this one is special in my heart for several reasons:

the composition seems phenomenal to me, the symbolism behind all this talk (the fact that there is a red umbrella, reflecting that it is a private, protected and important conversation for Carmen ) The looks, OH GOD THOSE LOOKS!!! It was in this scene where I started to love Red Crackle (in the first season I only liked the ship but they weren't my OTP)

I did this work mostly with markers, and with a little help from wood colors and a marker dark red to outline. It was really brave of me to have done this scene with a background with too many details, but I wanted to practice that and challenge myself. I am proud of the result.

Day 2

Favourite Ship

... I think it was too obvious right? hahaha. 5 years and I can't get over it. I love them, as separate characters and as a ship I love them. I have enormous affection for them.

For the clothes I used washi-tape (when I saw those colors I thought "I'll use them for a Red Crackle no matter what") This job was a little challenge because I made a mistake with Carmen's skin tone but I still feel proud that I managed to fix it and I LOVE IT!
