Something I just realized - there’s a reason (beyond it being a funny joke) that Mel shuts down Kratt’s song.
Singing and dancing is a major part of her love language. Back in S1, Josh singing to her was his way of showing how much he loved her. Even in the real world, when Josh wants to be romantic, he pulls her in for a dance.
Of COURSE Melissa shuts down Kratt attempting an “I want love” song. She meant what she said - her heart will always belong to Josh. Which means only Josh gets to sing to her about love, and he’s the only dance partner she wants.
