Would Su Muqiu use Lord Grim if he were still alive?

I’m not too sure if anyone has translated this yet or not, but here. It’s a Weibo Ask, directed at Butterfly Blue.

Question: BB, I wanted to ask, if Su Muqiu was still alive, would he switch to Lord Grim for one of the seasons? I feel like, though Su Muqiu is very optimistic and cheerful, he had put so much effort into Lord Grim; wouldn’t he feel some degree of regret?

Answer: When Su Muqiu tackled the problem of the Unspecialized being so limited by their weapons, he was inspired to develop the Myriad Manifestations Umbrella. This is a scientific attitude towards locating a problem and resolving it. To him, what was most important is the successful creation of the umbrella, and the fact that it would be put to use. In contrast, the problem of if he would use it himself or not was insignificant. With his skill and knowledge, it’s not hard for him to realize that Ye Xiu was more skilled, and more suitable to use this complex and ever-changing character.

So, ten years later, when Ye Xiu’s experience, awareness, skill were all mature, it was the perfect time for him to use the Unspecialized character, and the best way to unleash the Unspecialized’s full potential. In the entire Glory scene, at least in the most recent ten years, there isn’t a single person with the same comprehensive mastery that Ye Xiu has in the game. The text mentions that Yu Wenzhou is very well-rounded with a very comprehensive mastery as well, but without the hand speed Ye Xiu has, he can’t play the Unspecialized either.

Thus, in the end, Lord Grim ended up in the most suitable hands, and his potential and value were displayed to the fullest that could be achieved.

The only thing Su Muqiu would regret isn’t that he didn’t get to use Lord Grim, but that he never got to see this day.
