the iof shut down al jazeera this morning and closed the border to trap all the people sheltering in rafah. now the ground invasion of rafah has begun. rafah is being bombed right now and all these people who had been told they had evacuated to a safe zone are going to be massacred by the apartheid entity's weapons. i am so deeply sorry to everyone we have failed. i hate this world.

as someone who was a student journalist in college, i'm absolutely in awe of columbia university's student journalists covering the nypd raid on their campus right now. they're bravery is commendable and they are 100 times more impressive than the fucks who attended the White House correspondence dinner the other night.

Solidarity with all the students and student journalists on college campuses right now who are fighting against fascist states and the excessive force being used against them and especially those on columbia's campus right now.

It bothers me how many people are morally incurious, and it bothers me even more how many people seem to think that interrogating morality is proof of immorality- because I'm pretty sure that the latter is at least partly driving the former. Asking why an action or institution is wrong does not necessarily mean that someone thinks that that action or institution is right. If you never ask yourself why something is wrong or right, then what is determining your morality? Because it's not you.
