Coming back to this. I've entered a new phase of my life. I suddenly feel too much, it always hurts and it is all marked by the biggest loss of my life. I lost my mother, and I've been broken, stranded, unstable and alone since. I'm empty in ways I can't explain and in ways different from not feeling. My emotions are bursting and busting out of the seams which leave me tired, exhausted and drained.
I don't think I will ever be truly okay again.
Not okay
Ive been plunged into a place I cant escape
A place in which every corner screams
“Ill help”
“Youll be better with me”
“You need me”
However, a place I need, a place thats good..
Breaks me slowly
“Ill never be good enough”
“Why are you here”
“You dont belong”
Words that echo in my head.
They resound in all fragments of my mind.
“Smile, Smile Smile”
A mantra Ive learned by heart.
Emotions?
Ive lost sense of them.
Happiness?
A missing dream.
Sadness?
A far away wish.
Nothingness…
Ice has taken the form of a heart
With only remnants of warmth.
Tears arent shed
Tears of pain or tears of joy
All that remains is a wistful desire,
Desire for what was once there.
*Sigh*
