Key to a smarter Population
Something we need need to normalize is that "It okay to admit you don't know something." Each person can only know so much. Even with the information super highway at our fingertips, there only so many hour available to find stuff out. It not worth the effort to be truly right on every topic, and that okay.

That was quick!
So I had a mission in Hell Divers 2 where we had to take out an illegal radio broadcast. We drop call in our support weapons, and I picked the anti tank rocket launcher. I look at it, I look at the tower we need to deactivate. And that was the fastest I had extraction become available.

I would not have Frida and Hilda try to date. In fact I would have had Frida and David date. But I'll roll with that.
Also no flying outside of fairy country. She still a normal person. I would full fill The Woodmans words in the S1 ep 'The Cabin' and have her move out of Trollberg at some point with Twig. She still visits her friends and family there time to time. Crating charms to sell to help stretch her travel funds. But the traveling got to stop at some point, but not the adventuring. Who knows where she will end up, or if she maybe picked up some new companions on the way.
Maybe she finds a lot fairy kid who can't go home. Maybe a person she ends up dating and beyond. Maybe she picks up several mystical creatures on her journey, but never finds romantic love.
I've also toyed with the idea of Hilda and that Fairy kid moving into Astrid's house and taking care of her till she pass. With Hilda making charms to help pay bill as she also attend collage for Mystical Creature studies. Where she does prove some info wrong. Multiple times.
Also Baba become the Troll Ambassadress do to being able to talk human.
My head cannon endings for all the Hilda cast post finale (Spoilers for season 3)
Astrid
She remains in her home, never moving away. However she makes sure to visit Hilda often, which has become easier now that she's learned to fly again. She also doesn't get to lonely as she invites the Pooka to like with her and helps him practice shape shifting. When she dies she is buried where the fairy mound once was to be closer to her family.
Raven
He travels the world but always returns to Trollburg, on cold winter nights he joins Hilda and her family for tea and games, maybe the yule lads join in too. On his travels he spreads the story on Hilda far and wide even long after she's gone.
Tryla & Baba
They remain at the mountain most days but do ecompany Hilda on adventures during her weekly visit. They still live there long after everyone else is gone, telling tales of Hilda to the next hundreds of generations of trolls.
Anders
He continues living in Trollburg, working on wall and city maintenance with the bellkeeper. He never gets back together with Johana but he does try and be a better dad to Hilda, including taking her on that camping trip.
Johana
Begins selling her paintings to people, she also starts painting things from her and Hilda's adventures, including the Fae Ilse, which she still thinks about often. When she dies Hilda burries her at the fairy mound with Auntie Astrid, but she keeps a lock of her hair in a locket. One day, in the far future when Hilda has finally moved on she hangs that locket at the remains of the cabin.
Tontu
Just keeps doing what he does mostly. Going on adventures with Hilda occasionally but mostly keeping to himself. He remains in the house for a long time, even after Hilda had died.
Alfur
Keeps writing reports for the northern counties but he also begins working with Gerda and the safety patrol, his days are busy but that's how he likes them. When he dies, if elfs even do, he would be given a funeral pyre by the lost clan and Hilda returns to the northern counties to scatter his ashes.
Louise
Would go on many more adventures with the trio and would start to develop a crush on David, one that David would reciprocate. She would eventually become a wildlife photographer.
David
Started researching entomology and now runs an insect focused wildlife centre near the sparrow scout building, enjoying a more peaceful and quiet life than most of his friends. He also assists the linworm in a construction of a new garden on sparrow scout property, sometimes the two of them and Louise have tea together. He was the first to die out of the four and was buried in Trollburgs graveyard, later Louise would be buried with him when she died.
Frida
Finished her training and became a fully fledged witch. She would take over running the Trollburg library from Kaisa after Kaisa was appointed to the witch council. When they were teenagers she and Hilda started dating but they never decided to get married.
Hilda
She still goes on adventures in her teenage years, it wouldn't be Hilda if she didn't. She and Johanna also practised flying with their fae magic. She always makes sure to keep in touch with Astrid and Victoria. She continues to paint and make music and becomes a freelance artist like her mum. Twig also grows big enough to ride when he gets older. She lived in her apartment in Trollburg until her death. She and Frida were buried together at the overgrown remains of the cabin
Woodman
He's still there, deep in the woods. even after everyone else has long since died, perhaps he tells the tales of a mysterious blue haired friend to spirits to the passersby.
Or perhaps he would tell you that if you walk deep enough into the woods, you could find an old forest glen where a cabin once was, and you can speak to her spirit yourself

Our knowledge of this world stops here. Her adventures continue. Different from what we know. But there always more to explore and see. The world is not static, it changes. We can't see the new changes in her world, but we can guess and show off what we think. Maybe some day we will get to see more. But for now lets all create out own adventures. Be it on paper, digital, or out in the real world. All are valid.

I made this my wall paper. I know people tend to use Hilda in the moon jumping onto the raven. But this is what felt more important to me from the show. It forever reminds me why I write, why I want to be better. My Hilda inspired story won't be it, not should it. I hope it is as loved as many of use loved this show.

A vary scary thing to Write
So I was working on a fan fiction and had a character who is interested in learning stuff visit a museum. BIG MISTAKE!!! The amount I had to suddenly world build for a world that was not my own was overwhelming. As much as I am obsessed with that world it still has a LOT of black spots in it history that fans can easily fill.

baby deerfox designs from the show!! these were designed by andrew ferguson, one of the character artists on Hilda and I think the post they're from is gone now lmao so I'm putting them here for posterity. iirc it was said on the original post that the colour variant deerfoxes would've stood out too much from Twig and made him look 'less special' and so they went unused

All the landscapes and trees and stuff are SMALL, they're little versions of the stuff we got going on over here. Even your big things, like the alps, are so cute. You could put a fun roller coaster up there and make it a little ride for the kids.

Here are some pics that andy posted a long time ago on season 1 if you want some clean examples with no comp/lighting overtop. I grabbed them from here. Andy uploads some pre-prod stuff to his twitter sometimes.

Past this I cant really upload parts of the process I wasnt involved in, but the nice thing is hildas palettes are easily color pickable. The orangey red, warm yellow and then deep teal is what we center things around. Its our base 'daytime' palette.
The blue here for the nighttime has changed in season 2/3 . our nighttimes got a less saturated blue and started having softer purple tones , but its still a good example of a simple palette for flavor. Everything gets more monochrome.
