Hey, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your artistic style of Macaque's six ears being round or at least not as pointy as people in the LMK often depict him. I know this is a weird thing to specifically fixate on, but your artsyle and artistic choices work really well together to me. Thanks for the great comic!

that is a very specific thing to fixate on, but im happy you like that detail! i still like the pointed ears designs on other people's drawings of him, just personally i wanna keep those "monkey-like" characteristics in place for the comic

Macaque is jealous easily if other people flirt with Ru. specifically flirting because Mac and Ru's playful attitude towards each other was established to be an inside-joke kinda quirk that they shared

Who's more protective?

Ru. She wants to kill Monkey King not just for her brother, but secretly to protect Macaque too ;)

An He, though she doesn't show it, can get easily jealous if Mei talks to MK for too long

How did they know they were right for each other?

They haven't really explored being partners at all, but they began having mutual attraction to one another when they started going out to bowling, racing, etc with each other

Where would they go on a 3am adventure?

At the end of chapter 8 they went racing on the track around 3 am sooo most likely there haha

6. Mac loves how Ru chuffs/purrs. Any little sounds or noises she makes Mac can pick up on easily, and especially her voice. He also likes how she can bounce off his own playful nature and reciprocate his teasing. On the other hand, Ru likes how confident Macaque is. She's inspired by how sure of himself he appears (on the outside at least) and finds it adorable how passionate he is about theatre and storytelling.
