Icon commissions available!

Hello, and good evening! I’m in a bit of a tough spot financially at the moment,

I specialize in making simple 100x100 RP icons. I do not make PSDs or borders, I enjoy making large quantities of RP icons, on some good days of upwards 50+ for a single episode or chapter. I like making enough expressions for threads. Basically, my goal when I make my RP icons is so less on things like borders or their edits as opposed to giving RPers enough expressions so that they can respond to most situations in their RPs.

For example: for my icons of Miku Okazaki from Gal Gohan, I have made over 1220 icons. For Ann Takamaki from Persona 5 I have made 966 icons from the anime (I still need to do the Dark Sun specials) and 137 icons from the manga. For Maggie Lacivi from Ava’s Demon (on request) I made 396 icons. For Cardia Beckford from Code:realize (only iconed episodes 1-6), I made 347 icons. For Milly Ashford from Code Geass I made 377 icons. For Doona Cheon of Sadistic Beauty I have made 945 icons. Basically, when I make icons, I make a lot, and that’s what I’m offering for you if you consider my services!

10 cents per icon, so $10 for 100 for example (I might consider adjusting this number if I make a ton of icons to be slightly lower, but this is unlikely) These icons will be published publicly; if you want this to be private (available only to you) I will up-charge you 5 cents per icon (so $15 for 100)

I am willing to icon virtually any source, including that of most “problematic” media or N/$/F/W things like an h-manga or films showing graphic scenes (I’m not stranger to iconing things most dislike just for a FC, so I understand what you want) and even full out dead dove content. I however have a personal right to icon something that does not make me feel comfortable. If you’re going to be ask me to do something extremely sketchy please understand for my own personal comfort and for the sake of reputation I might reject it entirely. We will discuss this on a case-by-case basis, I will likely accept most commissions but I have my personal right to reject business I feel will make me uncomfortable.

I will give you periodic updates on what’s going on, the quality of your icons, etc.

I care greatly for the quality of my icons and your icons as well. When in the process of iconing JJ from YOI I was dissatisfied with the quality of my torrent and halfway through redid the process with a new torrent to ensure my customer had the best quality icons I could make. Even for my personal iconing projects I care about using the best quality possible so that the icons look good. If you want an anime (my specialty) or tv show quality I will look for the absolute best quality, 1080p or better to ensure you have the best quality icons you can have once I’m done cropping and resizing to 100x100.

In addition to the 100x100 icons I keep the original sized expressions as well. So once I take a screenshot and crop and resize, you will still have the original sized icons as well. This is not an upcharge or anything; I always do this. Good for expressions for personal use, I believe.

If your source is an exceptionally long-runner (like HxH, One Piece, or Yu Yu Hakusho) I will not icon the whole thing most likely; somehow I doubt most people are willing to pay for an icon commission that might be hundreds of dollars if you asked me to icon Gon or something. Most likely I will icon a specific arc of your choosing.

I do not icon fanart. If the character is very obscure and there is little official media, then I likely can’t make much. I am only willing to icon official media (such as anime and tv shows), official art, and perhaps doujins that were already being sold for money.

I can now make icons efficiently from youtube videos, so video games and the like provided there’s an LP of decent quality can now be iconed!

I do not do extensive editing, but with manga icons, I try to do very minor cleaning such as removing kanji from the background and and removing speech from speech bubbles. Basically, whatever I can do with Paint’s erase button, but that’s it.

If your source is a youtube series or the like, something I cannot easily torrent and convenient download in order to take screenshots and icons, there is a chance I might upcharge.

Below are examples of icons made from me from various sources, 100x100 and some full size icons! For the sake of length those (the full-sized ones) will go under the cut. Seiko, one of the chefs of the Whitebeard Pirates smiled at the Yonkou before her. She had only come here to gather some ingredients- she did not expect to actually run into Shanks. Whitebeard always derided him as just a young upstart from a shittier generation- but knew that her Captain had respect for him deep down, and returned the gesture in turn.

But in the New World, nothing was impossible, Seiko had learned.

“Would you care for a meal? I was making some stew if you or your men would like some- I’m afraid I don’t have quite enough to feed a whole crew, though.”

Looking for something to use as a banner when introducing your RP Blog? Want to make sure it has a little flair or character to it for some added fun? Don’t want to mess with Photoshop or other programs and don’t mind paying someone else to bring your ideas to life? Then you’ve come to the right place!

All we need from you is to message here and give us the details of what you’d like on it. (Blog URL, Secondary Info, etc.) Have a specific background in mind? Tell us it or even send a photo if you have one to use! Describe in detail how you’d want it to look and what you’d like it to do. (My skills are still somewhat limited but I will do my absolute best!) And if you have pictures of a mascot that you’d like to be used for the banner then please send them as well! There seems to be some confusion in regards to people finding their blogs deleted. As best I understand it, this is what’s going on.

Several roleplay groups have had their main blogs deleted due to being found in violation of Tumblr’s policies. A common practice of many RPGs is to create a separate ad blog, whose sole purpose is to post promos that link back to their main. Most of these ad blogs are queued to post identical or nearly identical promos at a steady rate – slower queues can post every few days, while faster queues can post every hour.

It seems that this is in violation of Tumblr’s policies regarding spam, as well as “deceptive means to generate traffic/revenue.” Rather than solely deactivating the ad blogs, they are also deactivating the main blogs that they link back to. It also seems that some people have been able to recover their blogs by appealing to Tumblr, but others have been lost forever.

To the best of my knowledge, these abrupt deactivations have only been affecting people that repeatedly make identical or near identical posts. As this is primarily a practice done by RPGs via dedicated ad blogs, it shouldn’t be affecting many indie roleplayers. The few indie deactivations I’ve heard of appear to be unrelated accidents – if this happens to you, contact staff immediately and, provided you’re not in violation of any policies, they should be able to restore your account. That being said, this site is notoriously fickle, so regularly backing up content that you would be upset to lose is always a good idea. For RPGs, your best bet seems to be deleting your ad blog immediately, if you have one, and to drastically reduce how often you post identical promos.

Now, I understand how how it feels to find that something you’ve worked hard on is suddenly gone, with no guarantee of getting it back. It’s a terrible feeling and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I would greatly prefer Tumblr use some sort of warning system to give users a chance to fix things before all of their hard work disappears.

That being said, RPG spam has been a problem for a long time, with larger fandoms having their main tags rendered unusable due to the sheer volume of nearly identical group promos. So while deactivating blogs with no warning is certainly extreme, I do believe staff is correct to do something to curb this issue. And I hope this will make RPGs reconsider how they promote themselves, and find new ways to do so that are more considerate to other users.

“That was a World Noble’s ship that crashed! Best to just leave it... the Marines will come if anyone survived!”

The New World was an incredibly volatile place. Even experienced Marines struggled greatly within it, and these seas would consume even the Yonkou if they were not careful. It was not much surprise to anyone that a World Noble would have been unprepared- and nobody felt bad for it.

It had shipwrecked on an island under Whitebeard’s control. Whitebeard himself had little concern, knowing that with virtually no survivors even World Government would come to investigate his territory. Simply, too much of a risk had been taken.

But there was a five year old who did not hear the warnings.

If somebody is hurt, they need to be helped!

As fate would have it, the five year old Kariudo D. Naomi found a surviving World Noble, and running to the other side of the island as fast she could, making a several hour journey in only about an hour brought a certain woman unto the Moby Dick.

To say it caused a stir was an understatement! Seiko had left her child with a friend on the island so she could do some schoolwork for about a month before they would come pick her up. Seiko desperately wanted her child to have options. Of course she did not mind of Naomi did grow up to be a pirate, but she did not want her identity to be tied due to no other options- so a few months of the year was spent on Whitebeard’s islands while her mother sailed.

What NOBODY had expected was for the five year old to jump from the harbor onto the Moby Dick when it was beginning to take off!

“Nobody here is going to help her! Even if she’s a World Noble, I don’t want to leave her to die!”

“Oh, Naomi...”

Seiko sighed, looking at the sleeping World Noble. And to think it’s Sharlia, to boot... Seiko thought. At least it’s not Everett, she thought, remembering her old owner. But still- his niece being the one that Naomi found wasn’t her idea of a great time either. There’s no way around it, they’re gonna learn I’m a Whitebeard Pirate now...

“... Oh, you’re awakening.”

Despite it all, she smiled.

“Good morning, Saint Sharlia. You’ve been knocked out for about nineteen hours- don’t move around too quickly, you mighty re-open a wound.”

Seiko smiled as she welcomed a man into her little restaurant, unaware of his own position. These were dangerous times to live as a member of the now defeated Whitebeard Pirates. But Seiko tried to live under the radar with her daughter, settling quietly in the New World as a humble chef.

She missed the seas. But, this was a life she could handle as well.

Seiko gave a nod to the Marine, hoping her identity was still a secret. After all, her bounty was still active. “Today’s special is rabbit stew, if you’re interested.”

Seiko is very painfully aware that the world never accept Naomi if they knew her heritage.

They would only see that her father was a World Noble, even if she is completely unaware of this fact and has never even once seen Mary Geosis. Just a World Noble in her own right, an extension of their evil inflicted upon another woman.

That’s why she gave her the name of D.

She was a barefoot slave running away at one point with nothing but the clothes on her back and the swords of her family she recovered. Having no kind of inheritance or gift she could give Naomi, she gave her the name of D. because she knew it meant freedom. She does not know the history that those who carry D. are the sworn enemies of the gods- but Seiko did know that those who carried the name, based on stories she heard, were always free.

To her it was the only thing she could give the baby, that name. Because she wanted her to have a name that could give her freedom. Freedom from the non-existent sin of her paternal heritage, freedom from the hatred and scorn that would come from it, and the freedom to be whatever she sincerely desired to be in this world.

Seiko herself does not fully understand the Will of the D., but knew at a minimum it’s a name that brings with it freedom and the ability to die smiling. To her, on that day, she felt it was truly the only thing she could give her daughter.

while Seiko’s unique laughter style (i just couldn’t make a OP OC without one) is a play off of anime moms and women going “ara, ara~” which usually means “Oh my~” and is used by motherly characters and playful girls a lot

but the way it sounds when she laughs is the “ah” sound is only heard once at the beginning of the laugh! so it goes “ah-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra!” when she laughs~

The World Nobles. Those whom within flowed the blood of the world’s creators. The most evil blood that flowed in the world. “Ahh... t-the World Nobles...”

“Ohhh! To think I’d be so lucky, ehhh! Here in Sabaody- somebody from Wano Country! Somebody actually with blood from Wano! Even if she’s never been there...! Little girl, please come with me. Let me treat you to the best lunch you’ll ever eat! Even if you’ve never been in Wano Country, I have lots of questions for you!”

“Yes, yes, she’s perfect! Fill out the paperwork for her immediately and prepare an iron brand! I simply must take her back to Mary Geosis immediately, ehh, forget that auction! My friends are going to be jealous about this one! So young too- one of the perfect ages for a slave! Surely, I’m the luckiest man in the world today!”

Seiko’s world went dark as she remembered the burning on her back. The exact moment she realized she was no longer a human being in the eyes of the world. The exact moment she became somebody’s property to use as he saw fit. And used she very much was; in every way she thought a human could be used and then more.

Naomi was the end result of this, and remembering that snapped her back to reality.

Just like Ace, a child bore no sin, no matter the blood that ran through their veins. No. Blood can never be evil simply for being blood. There is no such thing... as inherited evil, and thus no such thing as evil blood.

Naomi is not evil just because the blood of the world’s creators flows through her, despite what was done to me.

“Arararara... That’s quite the question. I think of them the way most people do. They’re evil, greedy, selfish tyrants whose lifestyles are so unquestioned I doubt they even know they are tyrants.”

But she smiled, looking down at the sleeping Naomi.

“But good can exist in anyone. Even the World Nobles, and those descendant from them. Of that I am confidant. There are bound to be good World Nobles too. That is my opinion of them. They are mostly evil, but I’m sure good World Nobles exist as well.”

Seiko’s smile was bitter, but sincere.

“Ararararara! Really? You’re gutsy thinking you can kill father on an empty stomach! Even in his old age father is the strongest man in the world- how are you going to kill him with an empty stomach? ... Even if you’re not going to eat with everyone else, at least let me bring you some of my famous rabbit stew! I’ll even get you seconds if you want~”

But it began to falter. “We were all his sons and daughters... and thus brothers and sisters. It could have been a no-bounty pirate on one of the divisions who just had the privilege of sailing with us... someone father had never personally met, and he would have still waged the entire war just to save one man. Fire Fist...”

Seiko wiped a tear, however, and smiled once more.

“... Somebody I cared about very much, my nakama. I don’t regret fighting on that battlefield for him... and I never will.”
