On Friday, my dog had to stay in the Vet hospital for treatment. He liver values were a bit high and she stayed for observation. She has bloodwork, X-rays and ultrasounds done. Once she was cleared, she was released to me on Sunday afternoon. She is doing so much better today. I racked up about 4k of bills and I need to make extra money to cover it. I’m taking commissions to help me pay this off as soon as possible.

Yesterday I got into a car accident. Got rear-ended. Don’t have a car anymore (it was deemed a total loss) and had to get a rental, and that put a dent on my wallet. I’m taking commissions; Or if anyone wants to donate to help me stay afloat.

I’ve finally finished this little piece.
Keith is a detective who disregarded orders in a case and was transferred to the cold case unit.
“Take this opportunity to learn to be patient. Having a fresh pair of eyes look into these cold cases may give us a lead. And it gives you the chance to lead a team of your own.”
Katie is a Medium who has psychic abilities. She can sense spirits and can communicate with them in dreams. She uses her talents to occasionally help detectives solve cases. Some believe she’s a fraud, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to help people heal.
Katie gets hired by a family member of the deceased to work alongside Keith who is currently working on the case. At first he wasn’t too fond of having her around but after some time he warms up to her.
A Cold case becomes active when another victim is found.
“This is a murder scene….not a catwalk.”
“We all can’t be like you…same type of pants and t-shirts….I have a sense of style. You can use more col-”
“Speaking of sense. Do you sense anything.”
“I sense your irritation.”
