Did I miss something or have you stopped coming to Youmacon? absolutely nothing wrong with that if you have!! I just don't see it on your most recent list of cons

Hey there! Ya unfortunately I haven't gotten into Youma in a while.

Unless something has changed, Youma con announces table purchases on their social media sites, not through email. I've mostly disappeared from social media which means I just never know when apps open. ): My email lets me know immediately when other cons open up, so pretty much every single convention I do at this point lets me know tables are open via email.

It makes some cons practically impossible for me to do nowadays, but it's been kinder for my mind!

Do you have any upcoming cons you plan on going to?

Absolutely! Next weekend I'm in Indiana for Indiana Comic Con. Beyond that, this is what I'm scheduled for. El Paso Comic Con - April 12-14 Yellow City Comic Con - April 19-20 Palmer High School Craft Fair - April 27th Sabaku Con - May 24-26 Duke City Comic Con - June 14-16 Anime El Paso - June 22-23 Denver Comic Expo - July 4-7 Ama Con - August 3-4 Las Cruces Comic Con - August 17-18 Colorado Springs Comic con - August 23-25 Saboten - Aug 30- Sep 2nd Salt Lake FanX - Sep 26-28 Kadabra Con (In Corpus Cristi) Oct 4-6 Anime Banzai - Oct 18-19 I haven't gotten accepted into any of the November or December shows yet, but overall this is my list! It's possible it might change, depending on if I get off waitlists or not. Most of these are a lot more local for me, since flights have gotten so pricy. Doesnt mean I won't fly though, if the show is good! If anyone has any suggestions for shows to check out though, let me know! Some are so big I can barely chance to get in, like I've been applying to Anime New York and NY Comic Con for years, but I do my best to get into shows!

More Bungo Stray Dogs art!

I tried a couple new things with this piece. I had a few art friends suggest I try coloring without lineart, and then adding the lineart later. It did make some cool effects overall, but dang mostly it just made coloring unfun, so I'm not sure that's for me.

I've also been using references from different artists to try and push further boundaries with my colors. I love my stupid intense neon colors, but I'm trying to find other ways to add stuff to the piece too.

Aww hey thank you! This is a dang good reminder! I've been working my butt off lately to make more stock but I haven't exactly been taking the best care in eating because of it!

Also I hope you have a good day too <3 Around here it's been freezing, so I've been hiding in cafes and in my home instead of going outside. I keep thinking it would be good to start taking walks again, but when I wake up and it's 15f outside I will absolutely not

Also have to take a break from working on my video game to update my merch stock, so expect new art for a while! I hope to draw a couple more Bungo characters, and maaaybe some Twisted Wonderland?

Lately I've definitely been trying to push my art to the best I can make it <3 I'm hoping to do an 'Our Flag Means Death' piece, which will be a particular challenge since I usually draw cute bright anime girls and these are all gruff pirate dudes. But I finally got around to watching the show and I adore it completely. I HAVE to draw these guys! Gruff realistic dudes is definitely outside my artistic comfort zone, but that's how art improves, so I'm interested to try it out!

I told myself I needed to make new posters and new merch for cons, so I sat down...

and made fanart for a 20 year old anime. Oops! I got real impatient with the background, but sparklies everywhere seemed to fit pretty alright. Also, if you've never used the modeler on Clip Studio, I recommend it! It's been very helpful with my anatomy weak areas. Princess Tutu is adorable, and I'm glad I finally watched it <3 Enjoy! Hey! Just showing another lil sneak peak on the video game! I have 6 areas with the complete list of enemies already programmed in. I have 8 areas fully done visually, with 4 more areas that have zero work done so far. Each area has a minimum of 8 maps, and a maximum of like, 18. Some maps are huge, some are small.

I've had a few weeks just to stay home and focus on game dev, and most of that focus has been poured into creating enemies and programming better AI. Some of the enemies are still.... very wonky, but most of them have been smoothed out.

Also I wanted to get some input on the particle effect visuals here! I just finished programming this enemy (Toughest so far) and I wanted to know something. When you hit an enemy and do damage, I have the confetti image, but when you hit an enemy and no damage done, I have the shields. Does that come across okay? (Also I know the shields are brighter when you hit the enemy with a sword, then when you jump on the enemy. I fixed that right after recording this)
