Anyway if you hate on Sigewinne/Wrio you should stop liking Wrio/Neuvi this fucking instant because that's the exact same premise. Both Sige and Neuvi are centuries old while Wrio is a human. If it's ok when it's Neuvi it should be ok for Sige too if your only gripe with the ship is that "she's a child", because she's not, SHE is the one who saw Wrio grow up, not the other way around.
But you just hate lolis and think short people are "pedo bait" and we both know it, so why don't you call it for what it is?

Something that antis who "analyze BB as media that is meant to 'cause discomfort' by displaying shotacon themes" forget is that creative texts (be they in visual, textual, or audial form) are highly psychological in the sense that you can't perfectly measure out every bit of the emotional reaction you will get from your audience.
Yes, there are writers who will specifically want to make their reader question certain moral dogmas, concepts, and ideas. There are also writers who end up writing particular concepts into their story by sheer accident.
In case of BB, though, one can't say that Yana is trying to "make her audience uncomfortable" by showing Sebaciel dynamics because nothing about it is uncomfortable. She definitely wrote it in on purpose, but claiming that it is supposed to cause some sort of a deep discussion on how Sebastian is a Bad Guy is laughable; because S/C relationship is a positive one.
Sebastian is presented - directly, indirectly, symbolically - as Ciel's only source of comfort and protection. Yes, it is a tainted liaison because it's the Devil's sacrament. It's erotic, sensual, intimate - and it's utterly comfortable.
Sebastian is the only person whose touch is comfortable to Ciel. He's among the few adults he trusts being in his vicinity. He's comfortable being alone with him. Ciel heals through his sickened bond with Sebastian. Yes, Sebastian craves him in the flesh-based, primal way. Whether you view it as erotic, beastly, or morbid does not matter: Sebastian craves Ciel. And Ciel is comfortable with that.
Yana did not fucking write it for nearly two decades to have some goddamn idiot who knows nothing about PTSD come in and say that Sebaciel is meant to be a "gross thing causing people discomfort". Sebaciel is a part of the story in the sense, "Sebastian and Ciel have A Relationship: whether it's predatory, romantic, sexual, or anything along the lines doesn't matter, but it's ultimately positive."

I know this is a fact I should know, but does it actually say anywhere in the manga that Sebastian hates dogs? Or did the anime just say that because he loves cats?
As far as I can remember, the only time Sebastian really ever says anything about dogs in the manga is during the Curry/Indian Butler arc, when he comments on the cowardliness of Lord West's guard dogs -
but even then, it was less a comment aimed at 'dogs' in general, and more just at the ones West kept.
I believe the addition of Sebastian hating dogs in the anime was mostly to make it more humorous that he then immediately got landed with looking after a Hellhound. Other than that, he simply prefers the temperament and softness of cats, the novelty of which he cannot get in his own realm.
Most of Sebastian's disdain towards dogs in the manga is actually more geared towards the fact that he was named after one:
which I would assume is because he sees himself as a far superior creature. I feel that the talk we get in the anime of dogs and their attitude of blindly following every one of their master's orders without care for their own wellbeing is - as far as the manga is concerned - more aimed towards Sebastian's feelings about Ciel considering him as his own dog rather than a hatred of dogs in themselves.
And even then, he is getting a little that way, isn’t he?

Sorry but I have to disagree on the fact that we're meant to see sebaciel as wrong. It starts off badly and for sure it IS fucked up, but as the story progress it reads more and more like a dark romance with even a LOT of cute moments. I doubt Yana would've put them in any of the cute situations if she meant for us to only find them wrong.
