A woman who loves to wander—at least, that was the way Shiera perceives herself. Countless days basking among strangers, relishing the view while the wind blew her hair. She has never come home, although she has one building she owns by her sweat and tears.

At each stop, she stayed, only for a while. One or two days were enough, before slowly walking towards the next. Working while learning, stopping was never a part of her dictionary.Take me anywhere, but home, she said. She does not want to return yet, she is still losing in life, after all.

Alone, but not lonely, yet deep down feeling incomplete.

All lingers in her mind at once, but it was in the past.

“I am home, sweetheart!”

The door cackled as her hand pushed it close. In the next second, her hands are busy untying her heels. A sound of footsteps was heard nearby, approaching her with a pair of bright eyes and a warm smile.

It tickled her laughs, Brian appeared with an apron surrounding his waist. “I wonder what did you this time.. but I am expecting a tasty dinner served,” she laughed.

Brian nodded, “Well if only my sweetheart don't mind to wait for 5 more minutes?”

Shiera reached him and entangled her arms around his neck while stealing soft pecks on his lips. “I would rather help you there, give me that 5 minutes to change, okay?” Her voice mumbled gently, answered by a soft yet deep peck from Brian in return.

And there she is, safe and secure in a place they called home. She once went anywhere but home, yet now she doesn't want to go anywhere but home.

She always wanted to escape, and Brian is her escape now. From the cruelty of the world, from all of the layers of misery.

She knows she can rely on him, and rest her heavy head on him. She knows he will delightfully welcome her with a warm, gentle touch.

“So stay with me, don't go anywhere, will you?”

That was the moment her little, exhilarated nods changed her life.

And she is beyond grateful, for his presence and everything about him.

Even now, nothing has changed ever since.

Their love remains the same, it grows.
