Review and Pictures of my Baby Delf Lily from LUTS

Here I am to share a little bit about the newest addition to my doll family, my Baby Delf Lily from LUTS. I ordered her in August and she took a little over two months to complete, let me say the wait was well worth it. I ordered her in brown skin (this was my first time ordering a brown skin doll from LUTS) and got full body blushing, and got a custom face-up for her. It was a little tough to explain what I wanted for her face-up, since I wanted a mash-up of different features from a couple of their face-up’s options, and I was also entrusting them with dotting her face with freckles and a couple beauty marks as well. I was a little nervous, because sometimes you never know how a custom order will turn out, but from the moment I opened her up I was in love.

There is something very special, and so unique, about LUTS dolls that I strongly believe no other BJD doll company has on the market. They take great dedication and care to make each and every one of their dolls perfect, lovely and special, and they make sure they know exactly what you want before they start creating for you. My Baby Delf Lily is pure perfection, I love the brown skintone and she has this dreamy, yet shy look about her. The LUTS makeup team did an AMAZING job with her body blushing and face-up, I could not be happier with how she turned out. Not only was the make-up job superb, but I am also a huge fan of how well LUTS string’s their BJD’s when they present them to their buyers. I am not a fan of loosely strung dolls, or dolls that cannot sit without flopping over. I now own three LUTS BJD’s and the tightness of their limbs, their ability to pose without falling over, and just their overall balance really amazes me compared to other dolls I have experience with from other companies. It’s so frustrating to spend so much money on a BJD only to find you have to constantly prop them against objects otherwise they just fall over. You never have to worry about a floppy doll or loose limbs with LUTS, and to me that is one of the deciding factors into making LUTS my doll company of choice.

Another lovely thing about LUTS aside from their dolls is their amazing customer service. You always get friendly customer service agents that are eager to help, are prompt in answering your questions, and will always relay what you want for your doll to the make-up team creating your new baby. Diana is my favourite person to talk to on the LUTS team, she is a valuable asset to their team and takes her job in answering customer questions on the LUTS page very seriously! If it takes several messages back and forth to ensure both customer and doll team are clear about what is desired there is never any frustration or lack of patience. She’s just so wonderful to talk to, if any of you have any questions at all about LUTS products, do not ever be shy to put forth a question on the Q&A board on the main website…believe me, I have asked several questions and always gotten friendly, efficient answers!

The Baby Delf body is wonderful in its make-up, and I have noticed a definite increase in the quality of the clothes offered for all the LUTS dolls. Honestly LUTS continues to amaze me with the products they are coming out with for their customers, and I am very excited to see what 2017 brings in the way of new dolls and accessories for the dolls. My Baby Delf Lily is the perfect size, and just all around a joy to take pictures of. She is my new favourite dolly and will be traveling with me to my parents place for the Holidays this year. She will also be going with me to a doll meet in my city so I can show her off to the other BJD fans I know!
