Update on the single release! It’s being pushed back for reasons that are my own. Sometimes life gets rough and I want this song to be out under the right circumstances and not be yet another source of stress. But she’s ready and I can’t wait for you to hear it. So while you’re waiting, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about how Pretty Little Darkness came to life. Written in quarantine with @jeyboe and @renrichardsmusic . Produced by the wonderful @mandrew_currier otherwise known as SoundReserve. Guitars by @brandonwiggers and bass by @treygustonthebass . This record is mostly about my life in Nashville and my first experiences on the road. I wanted to honour the wonderful people I met here and what better way than to have them play a part on the songs written while they came into my life and made a wonderfully positive impact. I told my producers “I want the people that made my life in Nashville great on this album”. Whenever we all may end up, we’ll always have Pretty Little Darkness and every other song all my other collaborators are on. And that’s something I will forever be grateful for.
