I don’t think I missed anything? There isn’t much information on instances where someone with the cheetah virus acts protective of another person… I should probably take notes on what happens so I know what to do going forward…

Made some breakfast for everyone, doing some more research on the cheetah virus now in case I missed anything in my initial readthrough. I need to find ways to help keep their stress levels low so things don’t get worse… I can’t scare them like that again…

She stood up and looked through a cabinet and pulled the first aid kit back out again. She immediately swapped the Magister’s bloodied bandages for some clean ones.

“You take it easy for the rest of the day. I can finish whatever you were making. You need rest. You’re not doing too well… Deep breaths, okay?”

Focus. Deep breaths. Don’t start shaking now, that’s the last thing he needs. He’s worried enough already.

Vera rushed down the hall as fast as she could until she reached the kitchen. She slowed down once she reached her destination as to not startle the Magister.

“I’m here, I’m okay, what- what happened??”

She froze when she saw how awful the Magister looked. She carefully approached him and sat down across from him at the table.

“…Magister?… it- it’s okay, I’m here, it’s okay…”

Oh fuck. The Doctor told him… She looked to the side, not wanting to make eye contact.

“…I- I didn’t want to worry you… You were recovering, stress would’ve made your condition worse, I- I couldn’t risk it… it wouldn’t change anything, just… make you angrier…”

She tried not to let him see the wave of anxiety that washed over her. She hated thinking about that moment, she hated how scared it made her even though the moment was over, even though the Master was safely locked in the medbay…

“…I- I’m sorry…”
