I was thinking about food - ramen specifically - and began drawing a shark eating some at a table...then it unfolded into a scene with strong Summer vibes. :3c

I woke up at 4-something AM in the morning to Dad being wheeled off to the ER again, and about an hour and a half later I was at the ER with him and remained with him through 3PM or so, having eaten nothing but a handful of dried edamame in that entire time.
This came after falling asleep at 1PM and...man, I'm exhausted today. ;w;
So today I just drew this real simple Jack Garland. I think it looks nice.

All that's been going on in the world has been putting me in a rather dour mood lately, so I used today to draw up a monster.
The base concept was like, a hollow ceramic figure that breaks apart along joints that it wasn't meant to have so that it can move. :T

Work was kind of stressful earlier today, and I was stuck driving a car that's stressful for me to drive, so that kind of bled into my hasty drawing decisions today. :T

Started with the concept of a human figure with two horns jutting out to the sides of its head, and then ended up with what is either a hero or one of those RPG final bosses that takes on the shape of a human figure.
Had some fun with the jagged wisps of energy flowing off of this thing too. :3c I like the texture that the mosaic effect contributes, haha

Drew Barret again, this time taking some inspiration from his field model and his official art from the original FF7. There's something fun about his giant arms in those specific renditions of him, haha.
Just something really, like, action figure-y about that look.
...man, I swear my brother and I had one of those old Barret figures from way back in the day. At least, like, I'm pretty sure we did. We at least had Cloud and Aeris/Aerith.

Today I started thinking about drawing Shadow, and then eventually that evolved into "what if Shadow was a Final Fantasy Dark Knight" and this was what I got.
Is that some kind of Monster Energy sword? Who knows, but it sure ended up looking like one by the time I finished this drawing. >__>
