ikr! i think honestly standard chairs are just a lot smaller than most people think. ive even seen recliners that i can't really fit in comfortably, and those are supposed to be big n comfy lol a huge part of the issue for me is that i cant get my legs very close together at all, theres too much thigh in the way, so its not really possible for me to like, make my stance small. and then im really short, so my legs almost never touch the ground when sitting in any chair, and idk if this will make sense to the tall ppl but when your legs are dangling it creates this pressure from the weight of your legs (and my legs are gigantic) and it can be outright painful, especially if the chair is too small and youre overflowing from it, and the only thing that will relieve that pressure is getting more supported with a wider and more cushioned base. if i can actually rest my feet on something that can help too, but it just never works out that way for me

i went to a buffet with my bf last weekend, i haven't been to one in forever, and i've missed them so muchhhh! i need to get over it, but im always so self conscious abt using two chairs, im also not totally sure it'll actually be more comfy? but this time, i put the chairs together, but i didn't sit in the middle, i just used it to get more support for my right leg, and that definitely was more comfy at least ^^
