I fucking love Kabi Nagata I dont think yall even understand how much I fucking LOVE THIS WOMAN’S WORK. I read My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness back when I was about 15~ and I could relate to it so much. I was cutting, my mental health was going down the drain and then I found this AMAZING autobiography and it connected with me so much. I recently found a physical version in a bookstore and I utterly flipped my shit before immediately buying it, and I WILL buy all of her other stuff the moment it comes out over here. Kabi Nagata is amazing and if you havent read anything by her yet you SHOULD
Author of ‘My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness’ Releases New Manga
On November 7, Kabi Nagata, author of the award-winning autobiographical manga My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness, released a new manga, Genjitsu Tōhi Shitetara Boroboro ni Natta Hanashi.
The manga details the true story of Nagata’s use of alcohol as an escape from reality and the consequences of it. As her mental health declined, Nagata began to drink more and was hospitalized with acute alcoholic-related pancreatitis and hepatic steatosis after drinking too much. Nagata describes her life in the hospital and following the discharge.
Genjitsu Tōhi Shitetara Boroboro ni Natta Hanashi is published in Japanese by East Press. Nagata’s original words, My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness and My Solo Exchange Diary, are adapted into English by Seven Seas Entertainment.

hot take; saya no uta fucking sucks. no, not because ItS jUsT tOo FuCkEd Up. It bored the living hell out of me. No I didnt feel uncomfortable. No i didnt sympathise with Fuminori OR Saya. I was just annoyed and tired by the end of it. Like wow, this is what people have been hyping for 16 years? A boring VN about a terrible human being who doesnt care about anybody besides himself and dooms the entire world to get his dick wet? Are we really saying this is good? Are we really saying 'oh wow i really felt for fuminori until the end i was SO conflicted'. I mean yeah, it really is conflicting. On one hand he killed, raped and ate a bunch of people. On the other hand he did it all for his waifu. I dont know how to feel about him :/ Theres nothing of substance here. Its trying to be a sad romance story and also an edgy horror game about how different points of view can justify abhorent actions, and it doesnt pull off either one of those ambitions. If you want an actually scary, sexual horror experience, play euphoria.
